The lack of modern project planning capabilities is one of the biggest areas for improvement. However, it is in Bubbles DNA to listen, assess and react accordingly to customers requirements, however bespoke - this is now something that has been developed and pending in the next release. When I first joined the company, we did not have a standard tool to manage our projects and portfolios. Portfolio management was very manual using an excel spreadsheet with no ability to keep track of historical data or measure KPIs for continuous improvements. With the Bubble software, we have a single source of truth with all our projects in the system standardizing the way we manage projects and being able to pull different reports, dashboards and generate KPIs as needed. It is very slow especially when a lot of people are using the system. Some parts of Bubble are also somewhat clunky and not as user friendly which I believe are being addressed with the new upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Version control is not well managed. Changes are made in the live system and then populate out without any notification. Also would like to have the development roadmap for upcoming versions and new functionality. We often hear of a need "that will be in the next release" but don't know when that is coming or if it even came out yet. Live system with standardised reporting metrics across numerous programmes that are updated directly by NHS Trusts. This allows accurate reports to be quickly prepared for senior leaders and other stakeholders including Ministers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is compatible with Excel but files cannot be quickly overwritten using Excel. This means some data fields need to be individually changed via the front end of the system rather than in bulk via Excel.

I find the customized reporting to be the most helpful - I am quickly able to see my teams project portfolio and assess resources. Approving new charters is also straight forward Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am looking forward to the pro update to improve some user-friendliness of some of the modules, and am looking forward when we can utilize it for project management (timelines, deliverables, etc) not just portfolio management. Most of the pain-points honestly are self inflicted - decisions on how to use the software with C&D which make things more difficult than they need to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First of all the great people working there and the support they provide!! Besides of this the visibility the tool is able to provide at different levels. The system can be fairly difficult to navigate through at times and I occasionally get lost in the sidebar folders.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to add actions with individuals in the team.

It would be helpful if there was a test environment so that changes or testing wasn't done in the live system. There are always new features and updates to Bubble but it would be helpful if they were communicated directly or summarized in a monthly update so that clients know and understand options. The text boxes are very basic and reporting can be challenging due to text being unable to be wrapped, so things get missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The data refreshes in real time and if you update data in one area of the system, it automatically transfers to other areas, whether that is the planning section, reports, or dashboards. It is very customizable and the use of keywords helps filter data. It is also very easy to implement access / special permissions for different users to have different roles and visibility. Some of the usability for creating and editing the system (i.e. dashboards) is not straightforward so it can be a little frustrating trying to change the formatting to how I want things (it is a learning curve!).
