Keeps the inbox cleaner and calmer
Boomerang lets you archive emails you’re waiting on and brings them back only when needed. That makes the inbox feel more like a task list instead of a cluttered storage bin.

Limited features on the free plan
The free version caps how many messages you can Boomerang per month, which can feel restrictive if you rely on it heavily. You hit the ceiling quickly in busy roles.

Emails that require follow‑up but get forgotten
One of the biggest problems with email is that important messages disappear once they’re sent or archived. Boomerang solves this by letting emails return to my inbox if I don’t get a response—or at a specific time I choose.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

I like that Boomerang is free to use. I love how it has features in the sense of follow-up reminders where it reminds me as far as whether I'm having an interview or a meeting. It pretty much helps track and gives me follow-up reminders. It's also easy and simple to set up, pretty much self-explanatory, especially since I already use Gmail and Outlook.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

I would say that there are features that you need to be a paid member so  I would say that's the only thing con to pay for access to features .

**What problems is Boomerang solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Boomerang for follow-up reminders and scheduling on email, which improves my communication efficiency with its easy-to-use virtual and AI email assistants.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

I find Boomerang incredibly useful for scheduling emails to my clients whenever needed. It's quite simple to use for managing my inbox and handling message requirements. I am particularly impressed by the follow-up feature and the use of AI to refine emails for better responses.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

The free version has very limited features, which makes it hard for business owners to see the true benefits of Boomerang. We can only use 10 message credits per month, which is very bad.

I use Boomerang for email scheduling, follow-ups, and inbox management. It helps organize my business communications, making it less messy. I find the AI feature impressive for refining emails to get better client responses.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

The concept of Boomerang is brilliant - connecting sales teams with the warmest leads you have, automatically. 

Without having to do a thing, I now receive notifications telling me when my prospects have changed companies, what level of conversation we've had with them, and if they've been previous users of our tools. 

Boomerang is the reason I landed a meeting with one of my best Tier 1 accounts (40B revenue). Couldn't say enough good things about this tool!

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

I wished I could get more leads through the tool! Of course, this is completely out of Boomerang's hands and all depends on your prospects and account list. So far, the leads I *have* received have been quality.

I don't have to do any tracking of my prospects' movements from one company to another - this is all done for me and saves me a lot of time. Also, Boomerang leads are familiar with my company/products, which makes outreach so much easier & response rate higher.

The job change tracker has been effective when prospecting, and has secured us many meetings this way. Super easy for my sales team to get these leads and take action quickly.

Boomerang.ai has honestly been a game-changer for me. It automatically tracks job changes and syncs with Salesforce, bringing in fresh leads every month without me having to do any of the manual work. What I love most is how it filters leads based on my Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and gives me insight into any past relationships, making outreach so much easier.

The integration with Outreach has been a huge time-saver, letting me automate follow-ups without missing a beat. And the Boomerang team has been great—super responsive to feedback and quick to make updates when needed.

Overall, Boomerang has solved the challenge of staying on top of job changes and helped me target the right people at the right time. It's made my outreach efforts much more effective and efficient

Boomerang was the only tool we found that could alert account owners when previous champions moved into one of their accounts.

The only thing that comes to mind is they don't have a stand alone tool, meaning everything is in Salesforce. This isn't necessarily bad, but it relies strictly on the reporting mechanisms you've set up in your Salesforce instance. It'd be nice if they had their own dashboard or interface alongside the Salesforce integration.

Boomerang alerts our Account Executives when a previous champion enters one of their accounts. Other tools don't have this capability. That benefits us by building a source of pipeline we didn't have before.

Boomerang Discover helped us increase contact coverage across our accounts. From an average of 1–2 contacts per account, Boomerang enriched missing calendar contacts our teams had already met - boosting that number to 7+ per account (for those enriched), including decision-makers like C-Suite and VPs. The process was smooth and  the support team was proactive.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

As a BDR, I look forward to the monthly Boomerang leads, as those are past champions/power users of our product who understand our product well. Boomerang does a great job in surfacing the champions who have moved to ICP companies right to our Salesforce and Slack, also including the past relationship context which simplifies the amount of research I’d have to do otherwise. Additionally, I've seen significantly better open and reply rates with the Boomerang leads. This efficiency is not just a time-saver but also boosts the overall productivity of our sales process.

Sometimes the account matching fails due to multiple accounts of the same name in our CRM. This issue seems to be fixed in their most recent update.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

For any marketing/GTM leader, what matters most is to generate a healthy pipeline coverage without burning a lot of cash. Boomerang takes ABM to the next level, by taking you 'to where the puck has gone' - by following past champions to their new jobs! The amount of data we have available to work with when it comes to the job change leads is incredible. What they've done remarkably well is help us make the most out of these data points to maximize conversions. We worked with their team to create different segments of the leads and tied those to personalized experiences and different campaigns. Their obsession on driving conversions (rather than just throw leads over the fence) is very impressive.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

I evaluated Boomerang in my previous job. We were looking to invest into job change tracking software that was best in class, and at the same time affordable. Boomerang was the only player I found to fit both these requirements. Some of the other big players in the market were quoting unreasonable pricing based on all the contacts our CRM had, and did not do a good job of focusing on where we'd see potential ROI. Boomerang on the other hand, had a far more palatable pricing structure and the pricing model was largely in sync with our potential ROI. Their product had everything we needed to derive value, so no compromise on that front either. In fact they also had a couple of cool features that distinguished them from the rest of the players, especially around AI-based lead classification etc. I also loved working with their team. Very proactive and resourceful to get the whole thing running.

Nothing particular to dislike. However, they're an up and coming player in this space with an aggressive roadmap and vision.

I appreciate the data quality, user-friendliness, and the way leads are imported into salesforce and slack, allowing me to effectively save time performing outreach. Leads are identified according to previous relationship strength and alignment with our ICP. I've noticed a significant increase in timely responses from Boomerang leads and a higher chance of conversion across the board. The Boomerang team is highly responsive to feedback and has directly requested to touch base with my team to adjust lead parameters as needed.

We've been working closely with the BA team to develop precisely what we want and need here at Narvar for our opportunities to assure they are tracking as we assume and hope. With our sales methodology and the Buyer Assist org charts (and eventually mutual plan), we have visibility over every stakeholder on an account. It's now seamless to see who are key and positive influencers prospectively as well as who we may need to lean into more.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

As with any start-up, it was a challenge to get to exactly where we need and want to be with Buyer Assist. They offer a great mutual plan but we wanted more/different offerings for our current sales process (both sales and CS). We pivoted based on where were are and what we feel we need to date. But after many iterations, their ENGG team came through with all of our continued requested variations. So dislike isn't really applicable, more time-consuming to get it just where we wanted.

Clear visibility over the org structure of our accounts. Being able to see where our champions and key influencers are and where we need to engage internally. Seamless visibility.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

The product has a lot of valuable features that can plug the gap in terms of knowledge transfer between internal teams like presales, sales, and CSM/Support at various stages of the customer lifecycle ex: Pre-sales, POC, Post sales CSM handoff, etc. 

It's very intuitive to use and we can invite all the stakeholders to collaborate. I find the Mutual Success Plan and Relationship hierarchy feature to be really useful. 

You can customize the product as per your internal processes and the best part is the seamless integration it has with Salesforce which ensures data is 2 way synced.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

From a features standpoint, there is nothing amiss.

Sometimes there can be minor UI/UX issues, but the BuyeraAssist team is available on slack for support and is very quick in resolving your issues.

The Customer Success team (DJ) is very proactive in ensuring that we get the best value out of the platform.

**What problems is Boomerang solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help us create and track Mutual action plans in the presales stage and Mutual success plans in the post-sales stages which is very helpful in ensuring proper KT to internal team like presales,sales and CSM/support.

BuyerAssist is an excellent tool for creating mutual success plans that brings alignment and transparency for our customers.

The product helps us mainly in two use cases. One is to onboard our customers and bring alignment in terms of expectations during the pilot and onboarding kick-off phases. Second, the product helps the Sales to CS handoff very seamlessly.

There are minor bugs, but the team helps get them resolved. Dhananjay the CSM does a great job of getting this done.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

One of the use cases that it caters to is coordination and transparency with the customers on onboarding. 
There are various touchpoints with the customers for us like API onboarding, Pilot Onboarding and then continuous collaboration for Customer Success. The best part is all of this can be done based on Outcomes, nothing random. UI is fresh and easy to understand. Can iframe into our portals so that customers can see the updates right then and there.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

Nothing that jumps out as such but is ever-evolving. Loading could be a bit faster, but not that critical deal breaker. Overall chat/Meeting MoM capture option would have been great though individual tasks have it. Works for now.

1. Transparency with Customer. 
2. Outcome-based approach. 
3. Notifications and a To-do list that can be added by the Customer to the team. 
4. Control visibility of tasks so no need to manage internal tasks in a separate location.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

There are three things I really like about BuyerAssist. First, our buyers love the professional-looking mutual success plans we co-create with them in BuyerAssist. It provides a way to deliver a digital experience that our buyers find helpful during the process. Second, it allows us to map out the entire account, stakeholders, and influencers and also helps to collaborate with internal teams on the best course of action to move the deal forward in conjunction with our customers. Third, our deal reviews have become more streamlined as colleagues already know the detailed plan and the level of buyers' participation in creating the mutual plans.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

There is much more potential with mutual success plan software. It would be great for BuyerAssist to streamline my handoffs and continued success planning through expansions and renewals. I would like these ongoing capabilities to be deployed, as they are currently part of the roadmap only.

I am using BuyerAssist to streamline how we align our internal sales process with our customers’ buying process, so that we can provide both a great buyer experience and more ongoing visibility to forecast accurately. We’ve been able to more accurately predict close dates and focus on better handovers with our customer success and implementation team.

Having worked on sales playbooks for the last few years, my biggest challenge was not getting sufficient visibility into how our buyers were engaging with the content we provided (i.e.), besides viewing/downloading data of course. That's where BuyerAssist has changed our game by providing rich and granular insights into the buyer's buying behavior patterns by looking into the context of why our buyers buy from us, what they search for, where they do it, and more. This detailed yet structured approach to insights has changed the way we create our sales enablement content for better impact.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

While the buyer experience and playbook management are great, I would like to see more detailed analytics into specific buying milestones like POCs, legal and paperwork, etc. to understand how to redefine my playbook to accelerate sales cycles.

The UI/UX is very user friendly.
The features on offer are very relevant and helps me a great deal to ensure customer success.

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

Some minor bugs which I am sure can be fixed going ahead.

**What do you like best about Boomerang?**

Infotmation Versatility. Using all buyerassist tool I can create a buyer profile, track my sale pipeline and contribute to my marketing department. Afterwards, I can pool information into very informative reports which are very clear

**What do you dislike about Boomerang?**

Buyerassist comes into a very crowded industry where Salesforce is very dominant. Iook for a specialty like sector, region, size, or type of payment. If you want to be general, please include all foreign currencies.

**Recommendations to others considering Boomerang:**

If you feel you are confused, don't worry. I felt like that beforehand. Once I contacted customer support, I felt I arrived at the right B2B platform

**What problems is Boomerang solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I saw that buyerassist setup is very quick, efficient, effective. Clear execution. Many companies should aspire to be like them. If they keep up with their pace, they will eventually find their niche and comfortable spot

The unique MSP creation and how daily activity reminders. 
The way BA helps us follow up with Customer without worrying about the next steps, is just amazing.

From  integration POV, they should offer a wide range of integration and customisation which they are currently working on.
