"Makes my life so much easier..."

What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

I use Boomerang in two specific ways: 1) to help find a meeting time that works for everyone (some people are just allergic to Doodle polls) and 2) to delay emails so they are sent out at the time of my choosing.

Both features are great. I'm an independent consultant, and when I am working with a company where everyone can see everyone else's schedule, but not mine, I can just share availability and everyone's happy.

I use the delayed emails for making sure instruction emails hit people's inbox at the right time (hint: it's not first thing on Monday morning when their inbox is full of news). It works seemlessly and I am super happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boomerang for Gmail?

I have found that some people (email recipients) are "afraid" to click the buttons that show up in the email when I use "Suggest Times". They just send me an email telling me their preferred time, rather than clicking the button. (eye roll) . And I'm not sure if it works well across time zones (I don't know if it "translates" the time), so I am hesitant to use it outside of my own timezone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Boomerang for Gmail solving and how is that benefiting you?

As noted before, it helps when I am working with a company where they are used to seeing everyone's calendar. I can give them (limited) visibility on mine for two weeks. What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

I use the 'return conversation to inbox feature daily' when I send emails out to make sure they come back to my inbox if there is no reply. I use this feature daily. This helps our team make sure that no follow up slips through the cracks without us having to note it separately! I also use Boomerang Bookable Schedule for scheduling interviews, it makes it so simple for candidates to select times and automatically sends an email out with calendar invites and video links. What do you dislike about Boomerang for Gmail?

Sometimes emails get pinged back to my inbox even if there's been correspondence since then on the thread. I think this happens when someone replies to a different email on the thread or I've sent another additional email they've replied to, etc. so I've boomeranged the 'wrong' message. This can just be annoying - but it's really not a big issue and better safe (multiple emails that I don't need) than sorry (missing an important follow up!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No More Juggling Calendars!"

What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

I love that you can overlay all of your coworker's calendars with a simple selection tool. I also love that it is all done directly in my gmail app and I don't have to switch back and forth between email and my Google calendar. It is super easy to implement, a quick plugin download and you are ready to go! I also love how easy it is to overlay various timezones so I can send my clients meeting options in their own timezone. The fact that the availability is a live feed is also super useful - no more double bookings!

I use it every day - last year alone I scheduled over 120 meetings using Boomerang and I suggest it to everyone at my office! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boomerang for Gmail?

I wish I could import the entirety of my calendar contacts at once. I have to currently add people's calendars one-by-one and in a large company that can be time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I no longer have to juggle multiple calendars when sending my clients meeting options. I simply select my coworkers' calendars, choose the open slots, and send it off for my clients to choose the time that suits them best. What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

Two best features:

- I can customize and completely control my schedule. The control options are easy to use and very handy.

- The seamless integration on Gmail, makes it very easy to integrate my booking link on email and use it on other communications apps too.

- I use it everyday.

- I genuinely feel and need a reminder for the meetings setup on the Google Calendar via email and WhatsApp to the organizer and the guests too.

Handling appointments, keeping track of the appointments, increasing show of clients after appointment is booked, were some pressing issues that I am able to solve using Boomerang. My show ratio of clients has significantly increased, making the whole approach highly professional and systematic. Clients are appreciating this approach and take meetings very seriously. What problems is Boomerang for Gmail solving and how is that benefiting you?

My primary use is managing messages that require follow up and it works wonderfully. My organization also has a set of employees who are on Outlook instead of Gmail and the meeting scheduler has been a lifesaver. If I have a colleague on Outlook I can embed my calendar directly into the email and they can select a time that works for them. What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

The fact that boomerang's meeting features along with all of its excellent features are directly integrated into Gmail makes it seamless to suggest meetings with preset availabilities or specific ones. Connecting the calendar so that once a meeting is booked it prevents others from booking that time slot is a game changer, where before I would tell clients I'm free on Tuesday and then both of them say yes. What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

I love that I can pop my availability right into an email with the click of a button. It makes life so much easier. I'm no longer wasting time looking at my schedule, dropping my availability into an email, and by the time they respond I am booked for that time and we have to start all over again. What do you like best about Boomerang for Gmail?

Boomerang was one of the original scheduling extensions I believe, even before Gmail integrated it into their native UI. Boomerang still provides good freemium features, and I like that it incorporates the ability to schedule meetings as well as emails, and to track opens of messages sent using the extension. I think the service has been trying to integrate too many features, like the AI content generator, that seem unnecessary and is distracting to the original interface.
