Think i like the best is that i can send the customer a screenshot showing that they received the invoice and opened it to review **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** Sometimes we have an issue with it producing invoices so when customers call to say they want it re sent and give us the invoice number, it is not in Billtrust we have to use our other program **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps a lot when customers refuse to pay service charges and claim that they did not get the invoices. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Billtrust?** Customer service is excellent at Bill Trust - they work with their customer to provide an efficient process to flow into the customers' ERP system. They will customize their process so it can be seamless into your ERP system. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** We were on an on-premise solution through Bill Trust, and moving to the Cloud took longer than expected, which increased the costs for the implementation. We at times have a timing issue with applying to our bills because the matching was not completed until after the export files were created by Bill Trust. **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our matching was good on the on-premise solution, however with the learning machine that Bill Trust has promoted - it seems out auto matching rates will increase. We are still young with the cloud solution - so I cannot answer at this point the benefits we have realized. Our on-premise solution was good already prior to going to the cloud solution. ### 6. It makes finding the customer payment details quick and easy to work up a remit to apply. Client Connect also saves a lot of time making the invoicing process seamless and easy. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** I've never been frustrated or inconvenienced while using Billtrust. Maybe, for example, instead of having to leave the main page through the support tab to submit a case for specific issues with our CPA accounts. Have a tab on the main page that's easily visible to find and create a case. **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** Billtrust plays a significant role with our CPA accounts. It has saved so much time and energy getting our invoices directly to the customer and streamlining the process. It's a relatively new process that we have undergone, and Billtrust has done an incredible job meeting with our team weekly to address any issues we may be having at the time. ### 10. The admin user is pretty easy but also gives a lot of errors for no reaosn **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** The initial page is extra work. The customers and HD have a hard time with getting errors pretty often. When the automated bill processing system encounters an error or something it can't handle, it shuts down processing for all the data. Occasionally, I have a customer waiting on the phone line to confirm that the payment was processed. Switching from Collections to Client Connect can be tedious. Too many buttons to switch apps. The implementation process went very smoothly and everyone on the integration team was easy to work with. With Billtrust our customers can make payments online via ACH payment. It has been quick and easy to help them create their login accounts, and they are so excited to see the features that it offers. Many of our customers have commented that it was about time that we offered them the ability to make payments online. They have been waiting for it for a long time. Even our customers who are hesitant to pay online are happy with the ability to retrieve their invoices. Many of our "old school" customers have given it a try, and have commented on how easy it was to set up and use. We are extremely happy with the number of customers who are using the platform in such a short amount of time. Billtrust handles the mailout of our invoices, both by paper and thru the US Postal service and by e-mail. We are happy that we are no longer spending so much time on the weekly mailing of invoices. There are no worries that the invoices were not sorted properly and that the customer will receive an invoice that belongs to someone else. Our employees no longer have to spend hours each week stuffing envelopes and can instead focus their time on other duties. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** I have not found a downside to using the Billtrust platform at this time. Everything is working the way that we anticipated it would. We are quite happy with everything it has to offer and so are our customers! We should have done this sooner. **Recommendations to others considering Billtrust:** I would not hesitate. The implementation process went very smoothly. We were able to move up our "go-live" date by nearly two weeks. There were no major hiccups when we went live. Our customers love being able to pay online. **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of lost checks in the mail. It is also nice to not have to chase down remittances from customers who would normally mail checks without one. We no longer have to do manual mailings of our invoices. Billtrust handles all of the printing, stuffing, and mailing. Many more of our customers are now receiving their invoices by e-mail. Customers can select how often their invoices are e-mailed, and if they get one invoice per PDF or all invoices in one PDF. We are receiving payments faster, as we no longer have to wait on the postal service to deliver the mail. It can often take mailed payment more than a week to arrive at our location. ACH payments made by customers before 3:00 p.m. are deposited into our account the next business day. When we have customers that are past due, we can direct them to the Billtrust Online Portal to make their payment. This payment will often take their account off hold, allowing us to make additional sales to them much faster than if they had mailed us a check. When customers make a lump sum payment, they are now selecting which invoices they want to pay. This allows us to always be in sync with the customer. When a customer short pays an invoice it lets them enter the reason why and allows us to follow up on discrepancies. We have fewer phone calls asking us to resend invoices as customers can log in and retrieve them. When we get a call from a customer who is not enrolled, it is very easy to help them get enrolled while you have them on the phone. It only takes about two minutes to walk them thru the process. ### 28. Being able to keep all of my things in one place is very helpful. Also, I appreciate that you can filter your data and it shows only the information you are looking for. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** I can not say that I dislike it but I don't really like the fact that when you want to download a couple of invoices they don't come in different pdf files, and it download in a single file. **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing that I am aware of. I don't remember having issues with billtrust at all. They did their updates and everything but I don't recall having any problems that interfered with my day to day work. ### 44. All I have to do is enter my password and type in a PO #. This allows me to provide excellent customer service to my customers. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** Truthfully there isn't much I dislike about BillTrust. At times it takes a little longer for the invoices to generate but that is very uncommon. So many more pros than cons. **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** Billtrust is making invoicing easy. I started using Billtrust 3 years ago and haven't had a single issue with it. The "global search" option comes in handy when my customers are unable to provide me with an INV #. ### 48. The filter feature helps by searching and providing invoices sorted by multiple differnet aspects. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** sometimes running reports can be time-consuming and time out so we have to rerun them **What problems is Billtrust solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use BT for not only invoicing but also for payment which helps our customers pay when we are not in the office available to take that payment. ### 49. Now Billtrust allocates most of the checks we receive & which gives us time to work on other stuff. **What do you dislike about Billtrust?** The only problem I see is that sometimes the formats don't hold on to some of the check remits that come in on a regular base. **Recommendations to others considering Billtrust:** If you are needing help allocating any of your payments, I would highly recommend using Billtrust.
