What do you like best about Bastion Host VPC?

Before explaining why I like this bastion host? I will start with this concept, which works like a charm. A bastion host is a system hosted on a public subnet of the network to connect with the private subnets of that network. We need this to control the incoming traffic to our secure network. In AWS, we have a service that works exactly as the bastion host and that is VPC bastion host, The important thing that I like most about this service is highly secure and easy to set up. What do you dislike about Bastion Host VPC?

The thing that I dislike about this is from the AWS side, they are providing the features like Instance session manager, which helps to skip the bastion host concept, but it kills the excellent service usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Bastion Host VPC:

Instead of giving access to your AWS account, it is advisable to provide the Bastion host credentials to enter into the servers and ask them to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The first and foremost problem that we are solving using bastion host VPC is the connectivity issues. Allowing the users to connect to the secure network without worrying about the firewalls.
