While B2B Wave works well for core wholesale operations, there are a few areas I think could be improved. First, some advanced reporting and analytics features are limited. It provides basic order and customer data, but it lacks more in-depth insights like detailed sales trends, customer behavior analysis, and customizable dashboards that help with strategic decision-making. Second, third-party integrations can be restrictive. It doesn't always connect as smoothly or automatically with some popular accounting, inventory, or ERP systems as I would like, which sometimes requires extra manual work to sync data. Third, the customization options for the customer portal are somewhat basic. While it's functional, having more flexibility to adjust branding, layout, and user experience would help create a more professional and unique buying experience for clients. Fourth, certain bulk actions for products or orders are not as efficient as they could be. Handling large catalogs or high order volumes can take extra steps compared to more robust platforms. Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly solution for small to mid-sized B2B businesses, but enhancing reporting, expanding integrations, increasing portal customization, and improving bulk management tools would make it even more powerful for scaling operations.
