What I like best about Loom is its friendly and intuitive interface. It makes me want to use it more often to walk through quick processes or explanations. Instead of scheduling a full meeting, I can record and share a clear walkthrough in minutes, which keeps things efficient and easy for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I don’t dislike anything major, but sometimes I wish the video loading and sharing were a little faster so the experience stayed just as seamless as recording.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me avoid unnecessary meetings by letting me quickly record and share process explanations. This saves time for both me and my team because they can watch the walkthrough when it’s convenient for them, and we all stay aligned without having to schedule another call.

I love the ease of use and how quickly I can record my screen and camera at the same time. The Instant Sharing feature is amazing because it gives me a shareable link as soon as I stop recording, with no waiting for uploads.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The biggest downside is that the Video Editing tools are very basic, only allowing for simple trims.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

loom solves the problem of meeting fatigue by allowing us to communicate asynchronously through video instead of scheduling a call.

I use Loom to easily record videos for coworkers or presentations without a meeting, saving time and eliminating file sharing. It's easy to use, share, and reduces the hassle of uploading large files, helping me do my job faster.

 ### 8. Resource-Heavy and Challenging Setup

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah C. | Independent Contractor, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I liked what Loom was supposed to do, providing screen recordings with audio, which is important for teaching people how to use online or computer tools. I also liked the idea of the editing features.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I didn't like it much. It was too big a draw on my computer's resources - it used too much memory and crashed my computer. It didn't run well. It had a hard time loading. It had a hard time processing. I needed easy and low key, and instead it required too much. Not easy. I had a hard time getting it installed and then I had a hard time opening it.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me record screen tutorials with audio, crucial for teaching software use.

 ### 9. Great app to share screen recordings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zubin B. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

How easily my video becomes sharable the moment I record the video. The recording is also very simple works on click of a button and gives a timer countdown before running the recording. This makes us more productive as I don't have to call a zoom meeting or something to explain any issue, I can directly record and immediately get a link to share and team can get on top of it.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The problem I have with loom is that in trail version I can't share/record above 5 mins. It should be more than 5 mins to use trail version properly.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom is useful for recording my running meetings with just a one desktop or chrome extension app from browser. I can easily share my recordings to others with help of loom.

 ### 10. Loom Makes Learning Easy with a Handy Video Library

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shana G. | Safety and Fleet Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I like that you can keep a library of videos that you've made or others have made that you can refer back to. This software program has been very helpful if my boss had something complicated to teach me on the computer. I have used it to great advantage as well as several other employees in our company. It's very easy to create a new video.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

So far, I haven't come across anything about Loom that I dislike. I find it to be very user-friendly.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever I faced something complex to learn, particularly when I was just starting my job, having my boss send me video tutorials that I could revisit proved to be incredibly valuable.

 ### 11. Essential Tool For Clear And Fast Communicaion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajnish K. | Salesforce Associate Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I love most about Loom is how fast and frictionless it makes communication. Instead of typing long Slack messages or writing out instructions, I just hit record and explain everything in a few minutes. The ability to instantly share the video, without uploading or waiting, is a huge time saver.

Also, the videos are automatically saved to the cloud, so I don’t have to manage local files or worry about losing them. I often go back to videos I recorded months ago, and they’re still easy to find and share. It’s hands-down one of the smoothest tools I’ve used in my dev workflow.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The biggest limitation is the 4 to 5-minute cap on recordings in the free version , it’s tough when you need to explain something in more detail. Also, managing videos gets tricky as your library grows. More robust folders, tags, or filters would really help. Lastly, the editing tools are quite basic — adding blur or annotations would be a big plus.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me explain technical concepts quickly without writing long emails or documentation. Instead of scheduling calls or typing step-by-step instructions, I just record my screen with video & voice, it saves a lot of time. It also makes communication clearer for clients and teammates, especially when visuals matter. Having all videos saved in the cloud means I can reuse and share them anytime.

 ### 12. The best app for screen video recording!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grecia L. | Marketing Automation Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like best about Loom for Five Iron Golf is how it combines ease of use with powerful features. It allows our team to quickly record golf tutorials and training videos, share instantly, and use AI tools to automate editing. This streamlines communication and enhances learning for both staff and clients.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

One area where Loom could grow is by offering greater creative freedom in branding within videos. While the platform provides solid basic options, enhanced tools to customize layouts and interactive features would empower us to craft a more immersive, on-brand viewing experience that truly captures the spirit of our golf community.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom makes communication fast and clear by combining video, audio, and screen recording in an easy-to-use way. At Five Iron Golf, this lets us create training and tutorial videos quickly, saving time and preventing confusion. Plus, with instant sharing and helpful editing tools, our team collaborates better and stays connected with clients more smoothly.

 ### 13. Simplified Screen Recording - Save time on Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess C. | Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Its ease of use for screen recording is its greatest strength, and what I like the most is that in seconds, I can capture explanatory videos, tutorials, or quick messages for my team, which saves a considerable amount of time compared to writing long emails or creating a step-by-step PDF. We use it daily and it's easy to invite collaborators to watch and upload videos as well, it's very simple to implement.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Loom could significantly improve in its editing features. While I understand that simplicity is part of its charm, I often feel limited by the basic tools it offers.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For more polished edits, I often have to export the video and use other software, which disrupts the flow of the process. A more robust editing suite, even if optional or advanced, would enhance the user experience with features like making clicks more visible or being able to zoom into areas of the screen during editing.

 ### 14. Streamlined Video Communication for Teams and Creators

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** divyansh k. | Freelancer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

The ease of use and instant sharing capabilities are what make Loom stand out—just click record, and you’re already halfway done. The ability to record screen, webcam, or both, along with the polished UI, makes communication feel human and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Loom helps eliminate long emails and confusing threads by letting you show exactly what you mean. It’s great for remote teams, async updates, product demos, or onboarding. Viewers can react or comment on videos, which keeps engagement high. The integrations with tools like Slack, Gmail, and Notion are also a big plus.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the problem of miscommunication in written explanations by allowing visual and verbal walkthroughs. It removes the need for back-and-forth meetings or long emails. This boosts clarity, reduces meeting fatigue, and helps speed up decision-making. For me, it’s a huge time-saver when onboarding team members or providing feedback—they can watch on their own time and revisit if needed.

 ### 15. very handy in screenrecordings without taking much space

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Astha S. | student representative, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

As a Loom user, the best thing I like is how quickly I can record my screen and myself at the same time, then instantly share the video with just a linkk no need for heavy file uploads or long expllanations in text. Its great for explaining proccesses, giving feeddback, or updating teamates without scheduling a meeting

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

i dont like is that sometimes longer videos take time to process. also the free plan has limits to recording length and storage and ocassionly the quality drops if the internet connection is not strong or lost.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is solving the problem of long, unclear, or repetitive comunication by letting me quickly record and share video explannations instead of writing lengthy email's or setting up extra meetings

 ### 16. Impressive AI Features and Effortless Transcription

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rehman T. | Full Stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I appreciate its AI features, especially the way it automatically generates a title as soon as the recording is finished.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Its AI handles automation to a certain extent, but it is still not very proficient. When it summarizes videos, it fails to mention the main topic along with the important points.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is useful for managing workflow, supporting product development, and recording meetings. It helps streamline processes and keeps important discussions organized for future reference.

 ### 17. Fast, Friendly, and Frustrating in Equal Measure

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nikhita k. | Junior Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom shines when it comes to ease of use. I can record my screen and webcam with just a couple of clicks, and the sharing process is instant—no downloading, no exporting. I’ve used it for internal product updates, client walkthroughs, onboarding guides, and even bug reporting. The Chrome extension and desktop app are lightweight and reliable. Plus, I like the visual quality and how polished the final video looks—even with minimal effort.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

While Loom is great for quick videos, it really lacks when it comes to structured collaboration. You can leave comments on the video, but it doesn’t feel like a true feedback or discussion space. Once your library grows, organizing and finding older videos becomes a pain. I also found limitations in trimming or editing longer videos, and the captions/transcriptions aren’t always accurate—especially with technical terms. If you're looking to build a more interactive async workflow (like we later did with Claap), Loom starts to feel a bit too basic.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps solve a major pain point for me: explaining complex or visual information over email or chat, especially when working with distributed teams. I often use Loom to walk through design feedback, product updates, or onboarding instructions. Instead of writing long, confusing Slack messages or documentation, I just record a quick screen share with voice narration.

 ### 18. Effortless Screen Recording with Voiceover, Needs AI Boost

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankur P. | Senior Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I use Loom for screenshots and small videos for presentations, and I appreciate how it's easy to use with voice-over functionality. I can add voice notes to screen recordings, making it very suitable for others to understand. The instant sharing of screen recordings avoids unnecessary calls and connections, and I found the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I don't like the lack of AI functionality. It would be good if it had some AI capabilities like a chat to snip or adding AI voiceovers, such as translations and auto voiceover.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom for screenshots and small videos for presentations. It allows for instant sharing of screen recordings, avoiding unnecessary calls and connects.

 ### 19. Not Just Record and Share

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celil . | Digital Transformation & Process Improvement Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like best about Loom is its simplicity and speed. You can start recording your screen, camera, or both with just a couple of clicks, and the video is instantly uploaded and shareable via a link. This makes it incredibly efficient for explaining processes, giving feedback, or communicating async with teams. The viewer insights (like who watched and when) are also a nice bonus for tracking engagement.

From an AI perspective, sharing flawless videos without lifting a finger. Loom AI auto-enhances your video and instantly transforms your script into a doc, message, or bug report. In addition to that remote teams to communicate better across timezones using transcripts and captions in 50+ languages.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Although this is not a very important issue, basic editing tools are useful but not very advanced—you often need a separate tool for detailed edits.
Occasionally, there are performance issues—especially with large or high-resolution recordings—like sync delays between audio and video or slow uploads.
From an AI standpoint, while the transcription and summaries are helpful, they’re not always 100% accurate, especially with technical jargon or non-native accents.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can explain complex tasks or give feedback faster and more clearly, especially when showing workflows, bugs, or design feedback.
As a freelancer my customers can watch videos on their own schedule, which improves productivity and reduces meeting fatigue.
With AI-generated transcripts and summaries, I can search or review content quickly—no need to rewatch entire videos.

 ### 20. Effortless Communication, Integral to Our Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I truly value Loom's user-friendly interface and the speed at which I can record and share videos. The straightforward setup process, with easy installation of the desktop app and Chrome extension, is another feature I appreciate. Loom is indispensable for improving communication efficiency in remote teams, reducing the need for numerous meetings by allowing visual and audible information sharing. The tool has significantly enhanced my productivity by reducing lengthy emails and facilitating quick, clear explanations that recipients can view at their convenience. The simultaneous screen and camera recording feature is incredibly useful for personalized explanations, and instant link sharing is perfect for fast distribution. Additionally, I trust Loom for its simplicity, efficiency, and continuous innovation with AI features and seamless integration with tools like Slack and Google Workspace.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I find the existing editing features in Loom to be somewhat limited. While the trimming and call-to-action functionalities are helpful, I would appreciate more advanced editing capabilities. For instance, having options similar to dedicated video editing software would be beneficial. Features like more sophisticated transitions and multitrack editing would be particularly useful when working on more complex projects.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom to solve inefficient communication in remote teams, minimizing meetings and enabling clear, rapid visual explanations, saving significant time.

 ### 21. Ease of Use and Useful Features with Loom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I really like the ease of use of Loom. The functionalities it offers are very easy to use and accessible, which is great because they are not invasive. Additionally, the ability to record screen integrations and then automatically share the summary of the different chapters is extremely useful. This allows information to be shared efficiently. I appreciate that the initial setup was very simple, as I practically didn't have to configure anything to start recording the first video. This shows that the barrier to entry is low, and I can start using Loom immediately without complications.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Nothing special although the integration with Confluence could be improved

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom allows me to record screen integrations and offers automatic chapter summaries, facilitating the sharing of information.

Sometimes video uploads take time, and managing many recordings can get messy across projects. Also, the transcription does not convert Arabic to English, which limits its usefulness for multilingual teams.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps us share quick updates, demos, and explanations without needing live meetings. It improves async communication, saves time, reduces back-and-forth, and makes it easier for the team to understand requirements and progress clearly.

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom is a great tool for async communication. I personally loved Loom because it's fast, easy to set up, and gets quick feedback on anything, which eventually saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

There is nothing that I came across. It's a really valuable tool for money.

**Reviewed by:** Upendra Kumar S. | QA Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like most about Loom is its ability to communicate ideas quickly and effectively through video messaging. The platform allows me to record my screen, camera, and microphone simultaneously, making explanations much clearer than emails or chat alone. I particularly appreciate the intuitive interface, instant sharing capabilities, and seamless integration with tools like Slack, Gmail, and project management platforms. Loom has significantly improved team collaboration and reduced the need for long meetings, saving both time and effort

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

While Loom is highly effective, the free plan has some limitations, such as video length restrictions and limited analytics. Occasionally, larger video files take longer to upload or process. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

As a technical sales professional, I use Loom to simplify my workflow. I record product demos and features for prospective clients. The ability to break these videos into chapters is a major benefit. It allows people to jump to what they need, which respects their time and makes my content more digestible.

The viewer tracking feature is incredibly useful. It tracks their email address get a notification when someone watches my video. It helps me decide who to follow up with. For internal use, it's a great way to show new developments to the team without a meeting.

I have used other tools like screen recorders, but Loom offers the best balance of features for the cost. No implementation effort, just set up your users and get recording!

Loom constantly adds new features, like the AI assistant for meeting notes. This shows they are always improving the product. Overall, Loom is a solid tool that gives me a clear advantage in my role. It's an efficient way to communicate.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Desktop app on MacOS is often laggy for me. I simply use the Chrome Extension instead

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the problem of inefficient, text-based communication. Instead of endless emails or back-and-forth calls, you can send a video that shows exactly what you mean. This is beneficial for you in several ways, particularly in your sales role.

It saves you time. You can record a quick video demo for a prospect and send it. They can watch it on their own time, and you don't have to schedule a live meeting for every single person. This is asynchronous communication, and it's a huge benefit.

 ### 39. Loom has been a tremendous time saver for our team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** josh w. | Sr. Manager of Project Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

We have saved substantial amounts of time using loom. We have a quarterly project submission procoess, which in the past has required about 10 hours of meeting time for 25 people. Simply finding that time for everyone was incredibly challening, let alone using so much time for these meetings. Using Loom has allowed our product people to explain what the project is about so our tech leads can watch all the videos ahead of the meeting time when its convenient for them and come to the meeting prepared with questions already, or sometimes all their questions were answered and no more discussion at all was needed. We've reduced those 10 hours to about 3. Which is a savings of about 200 man hours just for that process alone. I myself have created numerous onboarding looms for new employees as we have a lot of different processes in place. So that helps to insure that everyone learns the processes the same way. It's also very affordable for what it provides us. As an admin, it's extremely easy to add and remove users as needed and the integration into our SSO was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

We haven't found many downsides. The biggest issue we encountered was when we integrated into SSO, a lot of our users had free accounts and they were being defaulted into their free accounts instead of the enterprise version which caused issues when creating videos for them, but the Loom tech support was helpful and fixed the bug to make sure that they were defaulted into the highest available version.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have users from around the globe and this has helped make sure that our synchronous meetings are more productive and that asynch work can be done using looms. Making everyone's time together more productive.

 ### 40. Loom is at the heart of our global Marketing team communication and productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

As a Marketing executive leading a global tech Marketing team spread out across 5 continents, Loom has been key to driving our team's success and ability to tie our work to Company strategy and revenue impact.

We use Loom for high-level strategic team and cross-functional communication and collaboration as well as 1:1 productivity. It is interactive, and the best tool I've ever encountered for sharing information quickly and getting on the same page.

There are many, many ways we use Loom on our team, but here are a few highlights for others considering:

Loom saves countless hours of back-and-forth for feedback on work items, helps us align on strategy for our Marketing team spread across 5 continents, and adds a human touch to our work streams. It's easy to use (anyone can create a Loom), but with consistent cadence and rhythm, certain Loom recordings become expected content that is regularly shared in our company Confluence and chat channels—content that people expect and depend on.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes the AI summaries and abilities to clean up videos are great for polished communications like when we create Board updates, but often I think the value is in watching the human interactions and seeing the 'raw' footage. I don't think this is a negative about Loom, but rather a positive—I'd encourage people to try sharing more raw, human Looms (not wearing makeup, sharing vulnerable updates rather than 100% polished content) when possible to make it even more powerful.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps us connect strategy to execution. It helps us align our global marketing team across 5 continents (and many more time zones!) It humanizes Hybrid and Remote work and makes us all feel more connected. It gives us a chance to asynchronously review data and performance so that we make the most of sync time. It helps individuals level up in their "managing up" or "leading up" to their managers and increase the visibility of their work. It bridges our Marketing team closer to other teams to increase synergies and help us provide more value to customers.

 ### 41. Loom Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I have been using it for the past 1 year and have thoroughly loved it. It has great customer support as well. I have no dislikes yet.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can capture screen and audio on all major operation systems such as MacOS, windows, chrome, iOS and Android devices. Saves a lot of time and effort with custom size screen capturing, embed videos and share anywhere I want easily. It is great for explaining complicated topics or even for giving feedback.

 ### 43. Easy Screen Recording Platform That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom is a great tool for capturing videos for training, onboarding, and walkthroughs, allowing the individuals I am sharing the content with to watch and rewatch at their own pace, and know they can reference the video in the future if needed. I also appreciate the built in editing features available so I can quickly make any updates if needed. It’s also helpful for troubleshooting, since screen recordings can make it easier to resolve issues quickly. Additionally, Loom promotes asynchronous communication at our company, enabling teams to share updates, provide feedback, or give instructions without the need for scheduling meetings. It’s user-friendly and integrates with various platforms, making it easy to share recorded videos with colleagues or clients.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

At times, videos can take a while to process or load, which can delay sharing.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom makes it simple to create and share a wide range of workplace videos, from trainings and walkthroughs to troubleshooting guides - some of the most common use cases that led us to adopt the platform. It gives colleagues the flexibility to watch and rewatch content at their own pace, ensuring they always have a reliable resource to reference later. On top of that, Loom’s ease of use minimizes barriers to content creation and sharing. With its intuitive design and strong functionality, it supports seamless communication and knowledge transfer, ultimately boosting collaboration and productivity across the team or organization

 ### 44. Quick and Easy Way to Share Updates

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes the video quality can drop a bit depending on the internet speed, but overall it’s not a big issue. The platform still works smoothly most of the time.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me explain things clearly without writing long messages. It’s perfect for breakthroughs, feedback, or quick updates. It saves time and keeps communication clear, especially for remote teams.

 ### 45. Effortless Video Creation for Quick Tutorials and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roxy L. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Really easy to create videos that can be edited, split, cropped - I use it for quick client tutorials, showing something I discovered to my colleagues internally or when I am facing a bug or issue, to send to our dev team. Much quicker and easier than setting up a call.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Would love it if the browser on-screen button would not be automatically attached but that's quite easy to remove.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick communication externally with clients or internally with colleagues - when you need to essentially send a 'text with visuals '

 ### 46. Transforms Communication with Clarity and Speed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom transforms routine communication into something faster, more personal, and more effective especially when clarity and context matter. It’s become a go-to tool for reducing meetings, improving collaboration, and making complex ideas easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I usually frame these as areas for improvement rather than deal-breakers. Loom delivers enormous value in clarity and speed of communication, but enhancements to editing, organisation, and performance would make it even stronger.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom turns complex explanations into quick, visual conversations. For me, that means clearer communication, fewer interruptions, better collaboration, and significant time savings across day-to-day work.

 ### 47. Loom makes QA communication fast and clear

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** dhara h. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

As a QA, I love that I can record bugs visually instead of writing long descriptions. Screen recordings with clear steps to reproduce save time and avoid miscommunication with developers. The instant shareable link and smooth playback make collaboration very easy

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The free plan feels restrictive with limited storage and recording length. Also, stronger editing features (like blurring sensitive info or adding more annotations) would make it even better.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the problem of long, text-heavy bug reports. Instead of multiple screenshots and explanations, I can show the issue in one short video. This reduces back-and-forth with developers, speeds up bug fixes, and helps product teams understand issues faster.

 ### 48. Easy to Use, AI-Powered, and Straightforward Transcript Editing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Easy to use, and the AI features make it even more effective. Editing in Loom is also very straightforward, especially with the transcript editing option.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The plan I’m currently on offers very limited analytics, which makes it harder to get the insights I need.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time when I need to cover things that are too long to explain in an email, but too short to justify calling a meeting.

 ### 49. loom is the new meeting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serhii B. | Senior Product Manager, Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

i cut down meeting time by i don't know how much but it feels a lot. i use it all the time when i want to some more than a mobile screen can fit!

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

it doesn't automatically paste a preview in the slack channel which is why i got used to pasting the link to the video i get after recording it

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel Loom brings maturity to organization. Because rather than defaulting into having a meeting (hence a blurred responsibility), it makes you actually think about what you want to say. That's the greatest thing about Loom. And yes, it saves tons of time.

 ### 50. Loom has streamlined my business!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cecilia R. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Graphic Designer, Photographer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I love that I can send my clients personalized videos - for onboarding, walkthroughs, asking for specific feedback about design projects, and to send over tutorials when needed. Loom has saved me SO much time in what used to be lots of meetings and back and forths!

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes the Loom desktop app will crash on me in the middle of recording.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. So many meetings. Loom has freed up a ton of time in my schedule!
2. Miscommunication through email - Loom feels much more personalized for my clients and they really appreciate hearing from me directly.
3. I didn't have a good way to send visuals over before - for example with brand guidelines or updates, I would send screenshots with lots of notes previously, but being able to send videos makes this so much better for everyone involved.
