What I like most about Loom is how quickly and easily it lets me share information visually. In my work with CreditAssociates, I can record my screen and camera in just a few clicks to walk someone through a process, explain an update, or give feedback, all without having to schedule a meeting. The videos are ready to share immediately as a simple link, so the other person can watch whenever it works for them. This reduces long email explanations and the usual back-and-forth, and showing something on screen is often much clearer than trying to describe it in writing. I also find the viewer notifications, comments, and automatic transcripts genuinely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest drawback is that the editing tools are pretty basic. If I mess up partway through a recording, it’s often quicker to start over than try to fix it, which adds extra time. Uploading and processing can also lag at times, especially with longer videos, and I’ve occasionally run into audio or recording glitches. As my video count grows, the library can start to feel cluttered and becomes harder to organize. None of these issues are deal-breakers, but they do take away from what is otherwise a very convenient tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
