"A Great Time-Saver for Training New Hires with Loom"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I really like Loom because it lets you show day-to-day tasks, especially when you’re training new staff. You can quickly record a Loom and walk them through how to do things in real time as you’re doing them. It saves a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Absolutely nothing. I think it’s a great tool, especially when you have new hires and you’re in the training phase. You can record everything you do, and they can simply watch it later as training material. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick Screen Recordings That Replace Long Conversations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I mostly use Loom when I realize that explaining something in a message is going to take much longer than just showing it. I record my screen, talk through what I'm doing and send the link. Usually a two-minute video replaces a pretty long conversation.

I also like that I don't really have to prepare anything. I can start recording, explain the problem or show an example, and that's it. It's especially convenient when we're not all working at the same time and there's no reason to schedule another call just for a small question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Sometimes I start recording something that should take two minutes and end up with a much longer video because I made a mistake or explained something badly halfway through. Editing it afterward is possible, but for small recordings I usually don't want to spend time on that, so I just record it again.

It's not really a problem with Loom itself, but I do wish fixing a small part of a recording felt a little quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Loom’s Note-Taking and Transcriptions Make Video Sharing Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

We use Loom to record and share videos. What I personally like most about Loom are its note-taking and transcription features, which make it easier to capture key points and revisit what was said. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

There’s currently a 5-minute maximum limit for video recording. Please increase the limit to 30 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Screen Recording, with Room to Improve Editing"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I like Loom’s easy-to-use interface and how quickly I can record my screen or webcam and share videos without a complicated setup. I can start recording in seconds, demonstrate a process, and explain technical ideas clearly. It saves me time and makes tutorials, project demos, and remote communication easier. I also find it helpful to use Loom with Google Chrome, Google Drive, Slack, and my project management tool to record demonstrations, share videos, and collaborate with others. Getting started was straightforward; I created an account, accessed the recording feature, and started within a few minutes without needing technical knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I’d like more video editing and customization options, including framing and cutting tools, transition and background customization, noise removal, automatic subtitles, and the ability to add arrows or highlights. Sometimes video processing and loading take longer than I expect, and some useful features are only available on paid plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Screen Demos That Save Time, Though Editing Is Limited"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I like how straightforward Loom is to use. I can start recording, capture what I need, and share it within minutes without figuring out complicated recording software or editing tools. It saves me time when I need to explain something that would otherwise take several emails or a long conversation, and showing exactly what I mean makes things clearer. I also like the screen recording, webcam overlay, and basic editing tools. Showing my face alongside my screen makes demonstrations feel more interactive, especially when I’m explaining something complicated. The initial setup was very simple, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I sometimes find Loom’s editing tools a little limiting when I want to make small adjustments to a recording. I’d like a little more control without making the process overly complicated or needing separate video editing software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and effective screen recorder that easily replaces short daily status meetings"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

What I Like (Pros):

The desktop app and browser extension start recording instantly without lagging my machine.

Instant link sharing right after finishing a recording saves a lot of time since there is no manual exporting or uploading required.

The automatic transcript generation and viewer engagement stats (seeing who actually watched the video) make follow-ups much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

What I Dislike / Room for Improvement (Cons):

In-browser video editing (like trimming mistakes or cutting out pauses) can sometimes feel sluggish or take several minutes to process.

The desktop application occasionally desyncs audio and video if your internet connection dips slightly while recording. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Video Sharing That Cuts Meetings and Saves Time"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I like how easy Loom is to use: I click the plugin button and it starts recording my screen, and I can have my camera or microphone on or off. I use the videos for different purposes, including sharing processes and training colleagues, and I can save them in an easy-to-use library to share with my team and clients. Loom helps me avoid extra meetings and saves us time, especially across time zones. I also love being able to edit and transcribe videos and leave comments. My teammates can comment on a specific point in a video, so feedback and exchanges happen quickly and easily. Loom was quick and easy to set up and get everyone on board, and I find it user friendly. I also think the free experience with 25 videos is great for people who don’t want to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I don’t currently integrate Loom with any other tools or software. I’d be interested in seeing how I can better integrate it, since for now it’s separate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Training Videos, but the Free Plan Feels Limiting"
4/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I use Loom to make short training videos for staff with screen recordings and voiceovers, which is useful for our remote staff. I find it easy to use, and I like being able to show myself on video while recording to make it more personal. The recording lets me show staff exactly which button to click or where to find a specific page. I also like Loom’s video editing features. It was very easy to sign up and get started, and I can save it to my desktop for quick use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I used the free version, and it only allowed 30 full-length videos. After that, I think it cut them down to 5 minutes, so it felt like I had to rush. I’m not sure Loom has everything you could need for basic use, and the better versions cost money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Video Editing Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Loom?

I like how user-friendly the interface is and that I can stitch two videos together. The library makes it easy to find and review videos I’ve recorded before, without sorting through my computer, and keeps everything in one place. I like being able to use the desktop app or web version and toggle between them, log in from anywhere, and edit videos while I’m traveling. Having both options also lets me multitask. I like that I can add team members, and I’m positive Loom will continue to perform. The initial setup was very easy, and signing up was seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Sometimes, when I update my computer, the Loom desktop app asks me to sign in again. I didn’t see it happen yesterday, but it had been an issue before, and I hope it can be updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
