There are aspects of Ascent HCM that are not good. Its limited range of functions and features make managing HR tasks much difficult. **What do you dislike about Ascent HCM?** Their support team is not always available to assist with any issues or questions. There are a couple of areas where I feel there need improvements. For instance the integration, with tools needs to be more simple to save more time for HR departments. **What problems is Ascent HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improving the user interface would improve the user experience. It falls short is in attendance. Leave management functionality. This requires us to find solutions to meet those needs. The platforms interface lacks user friendliness. ### 2. The formats in the reports are easy to understand and we can always request them for any customisation. **What do you dislike about Ascent HCM?** I suggest the company works for Integration with other tools that will make seamless integration and hence easy for hr departments. The dynamic Tax calculator is one the coolest things they have, especially if you are a taxpayer in India. **What do you dislike about Ascent HCM?** The only thing I dislike about Ascent is, that there are many controls for which you need to reach out to their team for support, great support btw and yes, the UI!! the UI can be a huge area of opportunity. **What problems is Ascent HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Employee payroll management, Tax history and predictions, Single portal for all employees to get their payroll info and giving the people a prediction of their tax savings and planning through declarations ### 5. Does not solve for attendance, leaves etc Go for it if you have a lean budget and basic requirements **What problems is Ascent HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to view/download my payslips and tax forms Use it not more than once a month ### 6. This helped to improve productivity. **What do you dislike about Ascent HCM?** Ascent was a completely different product than what we had been using. We needed much training. Ascent was happy to help. **What problems is Ascent HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have decreased employee absence. Employees feel a sense of ownership. This has greatly improved our productivity and employee engagement. ### 8.
