**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

I like a lot of things about ARI (Auto Repair Software). It's easy to use and allows for setting up multiple accounts with clearly defined roles, which is important because the owner and account manager need different access levels. I really appreciate the safety features and the online payments for customers. It's convenient to send invoices via email or text. The software includes a labor rate system with Mitchell, which is great. It's a system that I have nothing against and everything to like. Also, the service reminders, code review system, and discount system for customers are really useful. The ability to customize auto repair invoices and estimates, including adding our logo, is pretty cool. It even supports both mobile mechanics and businesses by offering clock-in and clock-out options for employees, which adds to its overall effectiveness as a time management system. Plus, the free trial was a nice feature to try out.

**What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

It's hard to see what the customer sees. When I'm trying to walk a customer through their client portal, I can't see what they see on their phone, which makes it really difficult for me to tell them where to sign or how they can apply for financing.

ARI handles everything from client, vehicle, and service management to service reminders. It has a code review system, discount system, and customizable invoices. It's great for mobile mechanics or businesses with time management features for employees to clock in and out.

**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

I use ARI to manage my small automotive repair shop, and it streamlines tasks very smoothly. The software helps with determining hourly and flat rates and prevents me from getting stuck in a loop during diagnostic work. I love its features that use A.I. for diagnosing and planning the next steps, saving me time that I'd otherwise spend digging through service manuals or technical service bulletins. The setup was very easy, which was a huge plus.

My first impression was that there is a bit of a learning curve. I feel that there could be more focus on the richness of how the program works and what are some best practices when using ARI's many features.

The under interface is pretty good and the AI labor guide is accurate for the most part. It provides a lot of features for price.

**What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

I wish it had better order tracking through PartsTech. My previous software had an orders page were you would check in parts with an invoice number once arrived. It worked better in that aspect so you could easily tell when ordered were placed and arrived. It would also be nice to be able to use ARI in multiple tabs. I was doing that a lot with my previous software but ARI doesn't seem to want to be open in multiple tabs or windows.

It let's my run my business. I don't think there's any other software out there in this price range with even a fraction of the features ARI has.

**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

What I like about ARI (Auto Repair Software) is that it keeps everything I need to run jobs in one place. I can make estimates, work orders, and invoices without bouncing between different apps or paperwork. It helps keep my mobile truck organized and makes it easier to track what’s going on with each unit. I like that it tracks parts, labor, and expenses too, so I can see what jobs are actually making money. The canned jobs feature is useful for repeat work like PM services, brakes, and common repairs. Another thing is being able to keep service history on trucks and fleets. It helps when customers have multiple units because everything is already in the system. Overall, it just makes running the business smoother, especially doing mobile repairs and fleet work.

**What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

What I dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software) is that it can be a little clunky at times and not always as smooth or fast as you’d want when you’re busy. Some features take extra steps to get where you need, especially when you’re trying to move quickly between estimates, invoices, and work orders. The mobile app can also be hit or miss. Since a lot of work gets done from the phone in the field, it can be frustrating when things don’t load right away or certain options are easier to use on a computer than on mobile. Customization is another downside. It doesn’t always let you tailor everything exactly how you want for your specific workflow, especially for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet jobs. Sometimes you have to work around the system instead of the system working around you. Reporting and searching past jobs can also feel limited. Finding old invoices, notes, or specific repair history isn’t always as quick as it should be. Overall, it works and gets the job done, but there are times where it feels more built for general auto repair shops than for mobile heavy-duty or fleet work.

ARI solves the problem of trying to run a repair business without any real system in place. Without it, everything is scattered - notes in your phone, paperwork in the truck, customer info in texts, and invoices all over the place. It puts everything together so I can manage jobs, customers, vehicles, parts, and billing in one spot. It also saves a lot of time. I can build estimates, work orders, and invoices quickly instead of writing everything out or trying to remember what was done. That lets me spend more time actually working on trucks instead of doing paperwork. Another thing it fixes is keeping track of fleet units and service history. I don’t have to guess what repairs were done before or dig through old files because it’s all there. For mobile work, it basically replaces having an office. I can handle paperwork, approvals, and payments right on the job site, which makes everything smoother and more professional. Overall, it benefits me by keeping the business organized, saving time, helping me track money, and making sure everything is documented.

I use ARI mostly for pricing all my jobs and labor rates, and it really helps me not lose money on a job. When I need a schematic of something, it's right there, which is super convenient. I like how easy ARI is to use and the functionality of the app itself. I have no issues with the ARI app at all. The speeds are perfect and the invoices are on point. Plus, the initial setup was very easy; just a few clicks.

**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

We have been using ARI for about a month now, we started with their free version and were able to get a great feel for the system with out spending. We signed up for the full version during their Labor Day sale.  The system has many useful tools but the ones we are benefiting the most from currently are the labor guides and job cards. The labor guides help give us an idea of what we should be pricing out serviced as well as helps with Quality control as the descriptions of the services give us a reminder of what all needs to be done to complete the work order. We are excited to keep growing out shop with ARI as a partner.

**What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

It’s hard to use it in IOS. Some of the buttons don’t fully function properly on our Apple phones.  If we are able to Open it up on the shop laptop and it works great on windows.

**What problems is ARI (Auto Repair Software) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a team of two trying to establish systems and processes for our mom and pop shop. My husband has all the mechanic knowledge and I have the business acumen. This app has been able to help me bridge the gap. When doing market research about pricing and services and promotions. I deep dive into the labor guides to get a better understanding of what it takes and what the owner operators are talking about.

**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

The features this software has at the rate ARI charges, just beats other shop software. I have only starting really get into the advanced scheduling and reminders for customer's.

I have used it since 2023. They have been updating this continuously since then. Every feature they add or update ARI does seems thought out and is always helpful.

Any time I have needed to contact support, I have been helped quickly. The AI support bot is helpful, and will connect me with an actual person if I need it. When I do chat with someone, they are typically quick to respond.

I just like to use it. It works, things flow very easily with the UI.

The customer portal is pretty cool, I don't have many customers that use it, but I am sharing that information now.

I am really excited about the updated scheduling. For me being a one person shop, it is like having a service writer to setup appointments and remind the customer of the appointment. It also keeps track of service reminders and it notifies customers about regular maintenance.

This shop will use it until I outgrow it, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

**What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

There are some quirks. Depending on current updates, I have had to switch browsers maybe twice since I started using it. The good thing is, they are quick to say something if I am having problems.

I also wish the online payment through invoices was attached to a merchant service provider that didn't collect a monthly fee.

I'm sure if I think about it, I could think of some other issues. But really, I just use it and it generally stays out of the way of the work.

From scheduling to parts ordering to managing customers and vehicles. Really, it seems to solve those problems.

It helps my operation run smoother. It also helps stabilize business cash flow because of the scheduling feature.

Being a one person shop, I need all the help I can get. The longer I use ARI, the more features I get familiar with, the smoother things go.

Extremely easy to set up and use.  We are in the system throughout the day, every day. First class support.  I like that they offered a hands-on demo of the administrative side for prospective customers to explore.  Additionally they have a trial that gives customers an opportunity to get comfortable with the solution before paying money. This solution is an incredible tool at an extremely affordable price point.  ARI will revolutionize the shop management software industry.

Need additional enhancement on custom invoices/templates.  Specifically need to be able to use the new grouping function in custom estimates/invoices.

**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

I love how fast ARI allows me to create invoices and streamline my workday. This efficiency is a significant advantage as it eliminates the need to manually input every single digit or detail, allowing me to rely on ARI to handle most of this work. As a result, I remove anywhere between four to six hours of work each day, just for one employee. When this efficiency is spread across five employees, it immensely reduces overhead and labor costs. This not only cuts down my time at work but also increases my time at home with family, which I greatly appreciate. Furthermore, the initial setup process of ARI was more manageable compared to the effort required when we used to create all new invoices for each customer manually. Now, we only have to input the information once, making the overall process much more efficient.

I really appreciate how ARI automotive software significantly enhances the efficiency and professionalism of my mechanic shop operations. It replaces a full-time job by simplifying the process of creating quotes and estimates, offering invoicing solutions that make customer processing faster while maintaining a professional standard. One notable feature I love is the customer information tracking system, which allows independent tracking of customer data and automobile history. This is complemented by ARI's integration with Carfax, providing customers with proof of work completion—an incredible value addition. The affordability of ARI is another major plus, offering the same features as more expensive industry software at just over $60 a month, making it an incredible package. I value how ARI solves several problems, like accurately quoting labor times, which enhances both financial and customer protection. The integrated payment system, especially Payment 360, allows for credit card payments and financing options, which is beneficial for customers lacking immediate funds. I use the software's feature to order parts directly from local suppliers, boosting the shop's efficiency and productivity. Additionally, the initial setup was seamless, thanks to Jason, who provided excellent support with navigation tips, tricks, and frequent updates. Overall, I find ARI to be a phenomenal software, worthy of a 10 out of 10, with the potential for further enhancements by Jason.

I find the delay in the ARI software while doing labor estimates to be frustrating. After clicking on an initial item, it often takes about 45 to 60 seconds for it to refresh and proceed to the next page where I can select parts and labor details. Although this is significantly faster than the manual process I used before, now that I'm accustomed to the software's efficiency, this wait time feels like a noticeable downside.

I use ARI to automate quotes and estimates, replace a full-time job, and offer financing. It improves efficiency by ordering parts directly and tracks customer info with Carfax reporting, all at an affordable price.

Recently customers have reported intermittent issues with loading invoices via mobile. When customers viewed the invoice, it would not pan/move to allow the customer to view the complete invoice.

**What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

ARI is perfect for mobile automotive servicing. It's very user friendly, and easy to customize to my liking. My customers have no issue viewing invoices and paying deposits. The dashboard tab allows me to track all expenses, invoices paid, and customer visits. I prefer this app over CDK.

First off, starting a new business, cost was a big thing. For the features ARI has, it was a no brainer. I can connect to QuickBooks, Mitchell1, send emails and texts from the software which is a big help when communicating with a customer. It has many other customizable features that make it so easy to use. It shows profit on each job and the job cards make it easy to see where I am in the process.

The one feature I wish it had was that I could "close" the RO after it is done and paid and remove it from the Invoices screen and have it go into a more history status so I don't always have to sift through my invoices.

In a fast-paced shop environment where speed matters, being able to quickly hit **`Esc` to cancel/close** or **`Enter` to confirm/proceed** through the numerous pop-ups encountered daily would be a massive efficiency boost. It feels like a natural expectation in modern software and would significantly enhance the user experience for power users.

As a Mobile Mechanic, what I like most is the ability to send automatic reminders to customers a day before their appointments. In case they cancel, I’m not driving out there and I can set other appointments to fill in the cancellation. There still improvements being done but getting help from support is a major win. They respond quick with solutions and alternatives. Would highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?**

What I dislike from this is the range of labor times and the appointments. Some labor times say it takes 2.5 to 3.5 hrs so it becomes difficult to give an estimate without over charging and undercharging. The appointments have been difficult for clients to make and at times it freezes while making them. I have already spoken with support about these issues and they are currently working on improvements.

Labor hours, repairs, collect payments, text messages, marketing emails, send invoices, CUSTOMER PORTALS…

No bulk upload of parts/Tire inventory. Because we are a mobile tire company, we reconvene calls on the road and have to check our inventory. If we document our tire inventory on a spreadsheet I don’t believe there is a way to upload that spreadsheet into the software versus inputting the Tires one at a time

The amount of customization and unique features that are available. For instance, I can inspect a car and attach pictures with notes on the indicating any concerns the car may have. The depth and professionalism in the invoice is also the best I’ve personally used.

The app isn’t intuitive at all. It’s really meant to be used on a tablet or laptop. Being mobile using the app on my phone was clunky and the lack of a dark mode had me sorely disappointed.

It can be a little complicated but with so many features how could it be the simplest of applications. After just a day or 2 your be a fluent user I’m sure of it as it’s very intuitive.

Our CRM Solution was pen and paper so whilst using ARI we were able to maintain a sanitised workspace and adhere to GDPR etc

I like the fact that that it allows mechanics to organize their appointments invoice etc . There’s also a portal for the customers. It allows vin look up,and if you’re on the go it saves you!!!

Functionality, price, and customer support are just great. Very easy to use, no special skills are needed to work with the software. There are some minor bugs, but the team is working on improving every day and communicates well.

I can't say that I dislike something; the software is good enough. Like I said, there are some minor issues. The last major problem was, the integrated text messaging stopped working without any notification, so we were sending the paperwork to our customers, and these were never delivered.

Customer's database, inspections, estimates, invoices and even online payments - very easy. Also, now we can see every customer and vehicle service history in one place
