    What do you like best?

    I have found the ArcherPoint team members to be both responsive to our questions and concerns and patient in explaining the details of various aspects of the overall project and Dynamics 365 Business Central's features and capabilities, to our employees, who have very diverse backgrounds and very different levels of computer, accounting and business experience.     In the beginning of the project, I think that there were some issues with communication between our team members and those of ArcherPoint. Part-way through the project, there was an internal change within ArcherPoint, when our Project Manager left ArcherPoint. I believe that since that change occurred, the overall communication and progress of the project has improved. Review collected by and hosted on

    Recommendations to others considering the provider:

    I believe the most important consideration when picking any firm to assist in a Business Management implementation, is to have plenty of discussions up front. Schedule an on-site meeting with ArcherPoint's project assessment team and after reviewing their written proposal, spend the money and take the time to meet with them again to go over the proposal, on-site, with ArcherPoint team members.

    I think that having a follow-up visit by the ArcherPoint team, where they can demonstrate (using Business Central) how the various items of the overall project will be met with Dynamics 365 Business Central, is an essential step, before approving and moving forward with the project. We did not request a follow-up, on-site meeting and I believe, as a result, it took our team more time, initially, to fully understand the scope of the project we had taken-on and its inherent limitations.

    I believe ArcherPoint would have been happy to schedule a follow-up, on-site visit, to review their proposal with them, had we requested. I believe a follow-up, on-site meeting, would have allowed our firm to begin the project with a clearer understanding of what we were taking on, internally, with the project and I believe we would have made different decisions in the beginning, which would have sped up the project and eliminated initial frustration, our team members experienced.

    I believe the cost and time for the follow-up, on-site meeting, would have been recouped, with savings in better initial decisions, on our part, regarding the features and functions we needed, and the division of responsibilities and tasks between our team members and ArcherPoints. A project like this is inherently costly, but it is important to also remember the adage, “Time is Money,” and ArcherPoint has the experience and resources to help minimize both, for firms, implementing a Business Management solution.     What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

    With ArcherPoint's experience, knowledge, help, and guidance, we are combining two disparate systems, one for wholesale operations and the other a POS system, into one integrated Business Management platform. Dynamics 365 Business Central is not only allowing us to have a single inventory database for all on-hand and on-order inventory, but it is helping to automate numerous other internal processes, which are currently being handled by a variety of Excel Spreadsheets, individual employee's personal notes, and our employee's personal knowledge of what and how tasks are to be completed. While we have not yet gone "live," as we move closer to that goal, I am seeing the current employee's engagement in the project increase and have noticed an underlying excitement about the improvements the individual employees will experience within their own job functions and responsibilities when fully using Dynamics 365 Business Central.
