What do you like best about Apropo?

Apropo makes it much easier to prepare structured offers for custom software projects. Instead of building proposals from scratch every time, we can quickly assemble them from reusable components, pricing models, and predefined sections. It keeps everything consistent, professional, and easy to update when scope changes. What do you dislike about Apropo?

For very complex or highly customized projects, the initial setup of templates and pricing logic can take some time. However, even this setup process is still faster and simpler than in most alternative tools we’ve tried. We would also appreciate more built-in analytics to track proposal performance. What do you like best about Apropo?

What I liked most about Apropo is how much it improves team collaboration around estimates and proposals. The clear separation between departments and the ability to control visibility of cost figures is a true game changer for internal alignment.

What do you dislike about Apropo?

What I liked least about Apropo is that there is a small learning curve at the beginning, especially when setting up departments and permission structures properly. What do you like best about Apropo?

Ease of use:

- Apropo works pretty much how you would expect it to, is reasonably customisable, has at it's core estimation fundamentals you would expect from a tool of this type, and being relatively new is rolling out new features very regularly

Customer support:

- The customer support is next level!!! While still a small'ish startup, having email and chat access to the CEO and CTO is pretty amazing.

What do you dislike about Apropo?

Apropo is a step up from our spreadsheet system (which was super customised and a beast to operate) and while not a con per se, we have found we need to simplify some of our business rules to suit Apropo - however to be fair maybe we didn't need so much complexity

It is a new product, so having input as a customer is pretty great, however there will be all of the usual teething problems, the odd deployment that may go awry, and the constant struggle of building a new tool in a changing web browser environment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apropo?

The quotes done in Apropo look amazing to our clients. Apropo also has a number of features that increase the client's engagement with the quotes and help us win more projects. I particularly like the fact that our clients can configure the project scope on their own and we can watch how they work with our quotes through video recordings feature. What do you like best about Apropo?

What I like most about Apropo is how clearly and accessibly it allows us to present project scope and pricing. The system makes it easy to structure an offer in a transparent and professional way, both internally and for clients.

The tool is very intuitive, and onboarding team members (for example, developers who need to contribute to estimations) is straightforward and quick. This significantly improves collaboration during the pricing process.

I especially appreciate the ability to add global buffers and calculate pricing percentages per role. These features make financial planning more flexible and accurate.

What do you dislike about Apropo?

At the moment, the main area that could use further improvement is the timeline feature. While it is functional, it feels less refined compared to the rest of the platform and could benefit from additional flexibility and clarity.

What do you like best about Apropo?

Apropo has become a key part of my quoting workflow. Creating new quotes and updating existing ones is fast and intuitive, and the final client-facing output looks truly professional—clean, readable, and easy to understand. What I appreciate most is the ability to prepare multiple versions of the same quote with different options and scenarios, so the customer can compare alternatives without confusion.

A huge advantage is how flexible the experience is for the client: they can adjust and tailor the quote themselves by selecting variants and options, which makes decision-making smoother and reduces back-and-forth. On top of that, the product is clearly evolving all the time—new improvements keep coming, and you can feel the team is actively listening to user feedback.

What do you like best about Apropo?

Apropo is an amazing tool for creating quotes. There are many things I appreciate about it, but what captivated me most is how easy it is to use, how well it helps engage the team, and how much it speeds up the estimation process. Thanks to its descriptive features and the option to add work not only defined by man-hours or man-days, we can present the client with a comprehensive offer within a single tool. What’s more, the ability to create different variants of one quote is extremely helpful when working with a client on priorities and when quickly extracting an MVP. Customer Support is definitely one of the reasons why Apropo stands out from the competitors. It helps us onboard new users, learn new features, or find a way to solve the problem we have.

Apropo is battle-tested, not only by us but also by multiple different companies from the same industry, hence we can be sure it follows the best standards.

What do you like best about Apropo?

The thing I like the most is that our clients love the quotes received through Apropo. They say that those quotes are easy to understand and enable them to play with it and configure the scope. The tool also gives us additional sales helps, like email notifications every time a client opens the quote. It’s also very convenient and fast to use, it speeded up our quoting 3x at least.
