The project we planned in detail with them was never delivered as agreed upon. We ended up cancelling, but even after confirmation of the cancellation, we were billed again. Despite numerous attempts from our side, providing proof, AppyPie hasn't refunded the wrongly billed amount. When we left a negative review on another site, they asked us to remove the review in exchange for a partial refund. We reported them to Trustpilot's Content Integrity team because of this. To top it all offeven when we repeatedly pointed out the same issues, providing videos where the integration failed issues took several attempts to get fixed, if at all. I’ve been using Appy Pie for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. The platform is easy to understand, even if you don’t have a technical background, and you can start building things almost immediately. I especially like the newly added AI app creator features which translate my ideas into real apps. The e-commerce feature is another aspect I appreciate. I signed up for AppyPie a few years ago because it looked affordable, but my experience has been the opposite. At every turn I’ve been pushed to pay hundreds more—often just to get what I’d consider basic support - like resubmitting an app after their platform failed a compliance check. Support has been relentless about upcharges and upgrades. On one occasion, a support rep insisted I owed hundreds of dollars for something I had already paid and wouldn’t back down until I dug through my credit card statements and proved it.

The pricing appears cheap at first, but in practice you end up paying far more—especially when their platform has a problem and you’re told the “solution” is another paid upgrade. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AppyPie and after years tolerating this nonsense we are finally looking to change platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the service they are offering. For instance, they provide support for the app we have built on their platform. We have taken their best deal, negotiated the price and when we took it, the service was really bad. App functionalities simply break without us doing anything. Ease of integration and ease of use are overshadowed by the fact that almost every day things crash without us doing anything. And to top it off, they offer us another deal for 2400€ per year for server fee, that didn't existed before, to migrate and maintain our one app because of recent google policies, and if we refuse to take it, they will simply shut our app down.
