Loved the richness and details in the analyses. You have both iOS and Android, so better vs. SimilarWeb. It provides the same value as AppAnnie but is much cheaper.

I loved the sentiment and comments function—a fantastic tool for market research. For instance, you can export the reviews and get instant customer feedback. We have used it as an input for our sentiment analysis tool. It was much easier to source comments thanks to that. We have once done a project about delivery apps (during pandemic), and AppAnnie was the only tool that could provide us with the necessary data input.

Also, the team is very helpful, they can pull the data for you if needed - super responsive, very client-centric, and definitely well-organized.

If you consider the features, I personally think that peer-to-peer comparison was the most useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Exporting functions should be better; right now, it's not that easy to compile outputs. For instance, you can have only a few players in one go. It means you land with multiple Excel sheets you need to collect. Probably it was a problem only for our use case, but it was a challenge.

Also, I didn't use that much of the internal app benchmarking, as we were doing mostly outside-in analyses. I think that creating a separate pricing plan, specific for PE/VC funds, consulting firms, and advisory firms can be beneficial. I still miss using this tool for market research purposes. Apptopia is great for finding information on app publishers such as their emails that we can use to contact them for calls and meetings. Lists of information from these publishers is generated which helps us out a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish that Apptopia covered a more broad selection of Apps. We were looking for information from large publishers, and we couldn't get that through Apptopia. Perhaps it needs more development Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can search all the apps easily, they are categorised well. Subcategories are also available for the apps and it is good to be able to compare the applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apptopia provides real-time alerts and on top of that, it can be customized as per requirements. Also, the accuracy of the reports generated is also quite high. We can also view what technology is being used to developed and tools and what changes are being made at the back end technologies with the progress of time.
