## About Ansys Polyflow
Polyflow accelerates design while shrinking energy and raw material demands to make your manufacturing processes more cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. R&D teams use this technology extensively to design and optimize processes such as extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, glass forming, fiber drawing and concrete shaping. Design engineers use Polyflow to minimize physical prototyping when manufacturing extrusion dies or to reduce thickness variation to improve the quality of thermoformed or blown products

## Ansys Polyflow Reviews
 ### 1. Powerful Reverse Extrusion Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Ansys Polyflow?**

The capabilities of ANSYS Polyflow are staggering with the amount of information it can handle in regards to generating a mesh and calculating what is needed for a reverse extrusion problem.

**What do you dislike about Ansys Polyflow?**

The UI is not very intuitive or user-friendly. There is little to no indication when the program is loading something so it is very easy to crash it by mistake. It also is rather time-consuming to run due to the amount of calculations involved and still crashes on occasion because of it.

**What problems is Ansys Polyflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using ANSYS Polyflow to generate what die shape would be required in rubber extrusion. There are still some "common sense" modifications that have to be made to the final shape Polyflow generates, but

 ### 2. A very good user friendly software for numerical simulation of structural components

**What do you like best about Ansys Polyflow?**

Simulation Under dynamic loading included

**What do you dislike about Ansys Polyflow?**

contact simulation becomes tough for simulation.

**What problems is Ansys Polyflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

contact model for FRP-Concrete interface. Specific element is provided for concrete modelilng
