## Amplitude Analytics Reviews
 ### 1. Insightful Analytics, Occasionally Jumbled Events

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samra K. | Quality Assurance Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that we can create a dashboard from Amplitude Analytics to see what's working and what's not, and we can use various filters. It's helpful for showing the real-time use of features. I appreciate how the dashboard can show how many users are eligible for a new feature and how they are using it.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes the events will be jumbled, and the sequence of user actions doesn't always align correctly. Additionally, the Amplitude Analytics server occasionally will be down.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track user events and resolve issues, monitor new feature usage, and create dashboards to show real-time user activity with filters.

 ### 2. Excellent Graphics, Immediate Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeronimo R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love the number of charts that Amplitude Analytics offers to use. Being able to see conversion and segmentation charts by unique events allows me to quickly reach a conclusion. With the charts, I can understand if my paid media actions are yielding results in terms of visits and also if my SEO strategies make sense. I also appreciate being able to see the performance of my conversion funnels and detect at what point users get stuck and drop off.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think they should encourage you to use the other types of charts by providing real use cases! For example, the Retention chart, or the engagement matrix, user sessions, etc. Perhaps with quick guides to explain how each type of chart works.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand the site's performance, improve conversions, capture attributions, and optimize usage funnels. The charts allow me to analyze the results of paid media and SEO strategies, and detect points where users abandon the funnels.

 ### 3. Easy Setup, User-Friendly Onboarding, and Actionable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Easy to set up, with a user-friendly UX and onboarding. It also provides insights—not just raw data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

MCP produces inaccurate responses.
Event setup with services like Sengrid is quite confusing

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost-effective and quick way to set up tracking for a new product
Track users and product performance and usage across different geographies
Getting quick answers with AI

 ### 4. Powerful Insights with a Learning Curve: My Experience with Amplitude Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash S. | Senior Manager - Growth marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is how easy it makes it to understand user behavior and product performance. The platform provides clear, visual insights through features like funnels, cohorts, and retention analysis, which help teams make smarter, data-driven decisions. It’s intuitive, powerful, and great for turning analytics into actionable insights.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While Amplitude Analytics is a powerful tool, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first due to the number of features and depth of options available. Some advanced analyses also require a learning curve to fully understand. Additionally, setting up event tracking and ensuring consistent data quality can take some time and coordination with technical teams.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps solve the problem of understanding how users interact with our product. It provides deep insights into user behavior, feature adoption, and retention, allowing us to identify what’s working and what needs improvement. By turning raw event data into actionable insights, it helps our team make data-driven decisions, improve the user experience, and ultimately drive growth

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Akash,
Thank you for the thoughtful review. We’re glad Amplitude Analytics makes it easy to understand user behavior with clear insights from funnels, cohorts, and retention, and it helps turn analysis into action. We hear you on the learning curve and the upfront work to get tracking consistent—there’s a lot of power under the hood. We’re continually investing in in‑product guidance and best‑practice templates, and we’re happy to help you streamline event setup and data quality so teams ramp faster. Thanks again for your feedback!

 ### 5. Amplitude review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul G. | Manager: Growth Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Event-based tracking clarity: It makes it incredibly easy to understand how users move through funnels, identify drop-offs, and see which actions drive retention.

Intuitive visualization: The interface is clean and interactive — you can slice, filter, and pivot data without needing to rely on SQL or analysts for every question.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Steep learning curve for setup: While dashboards are intuitive once events are flowing, the initial implementation and event taxonomy design can be quite complex. You need a clear data strategy upfront — otherwise, analyses quickly get messy.

Limited data governance tools: As projects grow, maintaining clean, consistent event naming and properties becomes difficult. There’s no strong in-platform system for flagging duplicates or enforcing schema standards.

Sampling and data limits in lower tiers: Some advanced analyses (like long lookback windows or custom formulas) require enterprise-level access, which can be restrictive for smaller teams.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude is helping in proper visualisation of data along with Real time data

 ### 6. Live Events & Session Tracking Make User Journeys Crystal Clear

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I have only been using Amplitude for a few weeks now, but my two favorite features are the live events and the session tracking. It has been a massive help to understand the user journey on our website.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The biggest downside of Amplitude so far has been having to track KPIs by unique user counts instead of session counts. This makes it difficult to sum up our metrics at different time grains and will give different answers based on different grains (i.e. a 7 day period vs. a weekly period)

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude is helping us test new features and implement product changes that have the biggest impact. Rather than having multiple tools (i.e. one for A/B testing, one for event tracking, etc...) we have it all in one and that is extremely beneficial.

 ### 7. Straightforward Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raffaele N.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to build dashboards for my team and to check on revenues, conversion rates, and other important metrics for my job. It fills a data gap we have, as there are no other tools to look at the aggregate results of the multiple data sources. I find it straightforward to use and really value the segmentation and personas features.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes the UI is a bit misleading, which could be improved by using different shades of colors for the different sections. Also, the initial setup was a bit hard, mostly because we wanted to make sure the historical data were retained.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to build dashboards for my team and check revenues, conversion rates, and other metrics. It fills a data gap by integrating multiple data sources for aggregate results.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Raffaele,
Thank you for the thoughtful review and your feedback about improving the UI. It’s great to hear the tool solves your challenges with aggregating data from multiple sources, and you’re getting value from the segmentation and persona features.

 ### 8. Enhanced User Insights with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the MCP feature in Amplitude Analytics. It's great having automations through Claude that automatically bring information into Slack channels. The initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Maybe the UX could be improved, for me before moving to Amplitude Mixpanel was a little bit easier on the UX. It's about the overall feeling, nothing in particular.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track what users are doing in the app, calculate retention, and identify where usage drops.

 ### 9. Reliable Real-Time Analytics, Needs Better System Stability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Junaid Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ease of use of Amplitude Analytics. I also appreciate its accurate and near real-time analytics, which make things easier to track.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't like the outages on the Amplitude Analytics side as they occasionally impact our business, which could hinder our progress. It would be better if there were proactive notifications on planned work and improved stability to ensure the systems are resilient.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to find data patterns early, alert on important changes, and control the rollout of new products. Its accurate and near real-time analytics make tracking easier, and it's easy to use.

 ### 10. Simple Setup, but Data Refresh Issues

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma B. | Restaurant Supervisor

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that Amplitude Analytics makes it easy to input email addresses and see data, which helps to track if prospects are active on our trials. The initial setup was easy for me to get added.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I have to constantly refresh the page because it shows old data. I have to refresh multiple times to confirm what it's showing me is up to date.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track if prospects are active on our trials, making it easy to input email addresses and see data.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Emma, Tracking trial prospect activity through email lookup is a solid use case, and glad the initial setup was smooth. Needing multiple refreshes to confirm you're seeing current data is a real friction point. If it's happening consistently, it's worth reaching out at support.amplitude.com so our team can take a look.

 ### 11. Feature-Rich Yet Amazingly Intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritesh A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love how Amplitude Analytics helps me figure out how my product is doing and how users are interacting with it easily. It's very easy to use yet comprehensive. I also appreciate the ability to slice and dice data just the way I want. Despite having a lot of features, it's still approachable and simple, yet a complex powerhouse. The event segmentation feature lets me view data based on any event and see the frequency and quantity of events triggered per user. Additionally, the funnel reporting and user flow features are fantastic, allowing me to filter events or properties to focus on what I need. The retention reports are great as well, letting me segment users based on cohorts or behaviors and see which events lead to retention. The initial setup was very easy, and I have used it with other tools like customer.io and measurement partners for ads. I've switched my teams to Amplitude Analytics from other platforms multiple times, and I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Nothing - its awesome.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to easily understand how my product is doing and how my users are using it. It's easy to use and comprehensive, with great features like event segmentation, funnel reporting, and retention reports that help control and analyze user behavior.

 ### 13. Great tool for insights on app usage, retention and growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno C. | Head of Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I believe the ease of use is one of the main selling points of Amplitude. After the team configured it and mapped events (pretty quickly, btw), I didn't need to expend a second reading docs or tutorials to start viewing the data I needed and answering the questions I had on app usage, retention, funnels, etc. I use it daily and it's my team's main platform for dashboards regarding our app (we do have GA4, but we rarely use it for this purpose, since Amplitude gives us a better view of our app and users). It has some nice integrations, with Facebook Audiences, for example. Or even sending data back to GA4. It's much more powerful than a simple dashboard and analytics tool. I highly recommend it for any team looking to deeply understand their app usage and customers.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There are only 2 things I miss in Amplitude. ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶o̶l̶s̶ ̶(̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶L̶o̶o̶k̶e̶r̶ ̶S̶t̶u̶d̶i̶o̶)̶,̶ ̶b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶l̶y̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶l̶t̶e̶r̶,̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶m̶p̶l̶e̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶l̶i̶e̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶t̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶d̶a̶s̶h̶b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶. That part's been solved. Or cohort filters and so on. The other thing is a bit more complicated, I know, but it would be nice to have a visual event setup. Like Facebook Event Setup Tool. A bit of a stretch, I know, but it could work for front-end events.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude gives me and my team a clear understanding of our app usage, user funnel and cohorts. Making it easy to understand what drives our users to return and what makes them do what we want them to do.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Thanks for the wonderful review, Bruno! We’re so glad you find Analytics easy to use! We love hearing that Amplitude is helping your team understand app usage and user behavior. And thanks for updating your review to share that one of your criticisms has been resolved. Feedback like yours helps us continuously improve!

 ### 14. Simplifies growth tracking for product and marketing teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish K. | Performance Marketing Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it really easy to understand how users engage with our product. I can quickly see which campaigns are driving quality users, build cohorts, and track their entire journey. The dashboards give a clear picture of DAU, MAU, and engagement time, which helps us double down on what’s actually working. For a marketing and growth team, it’s super valuable to connect campaign data with user behavior in one place

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

At times, the data does not align perfectly with the figures displayed in channels such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads, which can be confusing when trying to cross-verify information. Additionally, the user interface may initially seem overwhelming to newcomers due to the abundance of features. However, after spending some time with the platform, it becomes more manageable.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude has enabled us to bridge the gap between our marketing campaigns and actual user behavior within the product. Previously, we could monitor ad clicks and signups, but we lacked insight into what users did after signing up. Now, with Amplitude, we are able to track user journeys, create cohorts, and analyze engagement metrics such as DAU, MAU, and retention. This visibility allows us to pinpoint which campaigns attract high-quality users and to identify where users tend to drop off. Ultimately, the greatest advantage for us is the ability to make data-driven decisions that foster growth, optimize our advertising spend, and help keep users engaged for longer periods.

 ### 15. All-in-One Solution for Product Managers with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan D. | Lead Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

First of all, it includes all the essential features that a product manager like myself requires—from tracking user interactions on my platform, to enabling me to create guides, gather feedback through surveys, and set up feature gates. What I appreciate most is the high degree of customization that Amplitude offers when analyzing usage patterns, as well as the session replays, which have been invaluable for understanding user journeys and identifying points of friction.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes it's hard to understand how certain measurements are taken. Creating user segments doesn't retroactively update the charts statistics if you add or remove things from it.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me and my team to understand the core user journeys on our platform and make decisions about how they can be improved. It also allows me to produce insights for my senior leadership about product usage and statistics used by other teams.

 ### 16. Easier Analytics Than Google, Insightful Funnels

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johan B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics primarily for the funnel view, which helps me see drop-offs and understand how users engage with our platform. I appreciate that Amplitude makes it much easier for everyone in our company to access the data and create views or charts. It simplifies the process compared to Google Analytics, where it was harder to create custom dashboards or views without going through additional tools like BigQuery or Tableau.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think it's hard to get some of the matrices I want, like viewing all the pages of one view and seeing what were different things people did on that. It's hard to get the tables to work.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user engagement and conversions, especially using the funnel flow to track drop-offs and user behavior.

 ### 17. Great tool for product teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davit M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is exceptionally strong for products with complex interaction patterns. If you care about funnels, retention, engagement, activation flows, and behavioral metrics at scale, it’s one of the best and easiest tools to use once implemented.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The main downside is the initial implementation. Setting up Amplitude properly requires meaningful engineering effort, so it’s not something you can “try casually.” Sending high-quality events needs clear tracking design, developer time, and strong company buy-in.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude lets us analyze large volumes of product data quickly without overloading our own databases. Computation is fast, visualizations are clear, and non-technical teams can self-serve without relying on SQL or data engineers.

 ### 18. Intuitive Insights, Empowered Decision-Making

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip M. | Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is the best self-service analytics tool I've used. My team can go from question to answer in minutes without waiting on data science or engineering—what used to be a bottleneck is now just... not. The chart builder is dead simple, and the learning curve is minimal. If you can articulate what you want to know, you can build it.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The session replay tool isn't as robust as Fullstory and feels slower to navigate. I also wish the funnel charts had more flexibility—specifically, variable time windows between steps and the ability to hold properties constant across steps.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes the friction between having a question and getting an answer. My team makes faster, more informed decisions because the data is accessible to everyone, not just the people who know SQL.

 ### 19. Clear Insights and great to go for startup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caterina A. | Co-founder

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our main KPIs, and it gives me a clear picture of how my business is doing, especially when I want to understand adoption to influence my product roadmap or the funnel to improve our conversion. I find it easy to understand and broadly used, and sometimes the Ask Amplitude feature is useful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's not always straightforward how to filter data, the data structure is not always shown with clarity. It's sometimes hard to understand how variables are linked. Also, I'd like to have a data table option that's much more flexible and straightforward. If I want to download raw data, sometimes it makes it difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our main KPIs, understand adoption for product roadmaps, and analyze the funnel for conversion improvements, giving me a clear picture of how my business is doing.

 ### 20. Effortless Operation and Lightning-Fast Data Loading

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satyanarayana B. | solution analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Easy to operate and fast at loading large datasets. The graphical representation is also good, and there is no need to use SQL queries to get the data, simply drag and drop, which is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The only disadvantage is that it allows viewing only one year of data.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

easy to see the historical data and comparion is also good for cerain periods.

 ### 21. Great value, AI can use some improvements.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It’s easy to create and share charts, and just as easy to tweak them visually. I can quickly make dashboards that look good and are genuinely useful. The API is also great. The AI is getting better over time.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Lacking extended functionality sometimes; user lifecycle charts could have been better visualized. The AI helper is slow.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting the insights of users behavior, quickly creating charts in bulk, monitoring for insights.

 ### 22. A robust tool that can answer many questions about your users behavior

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha D. | Head Of Marketing, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is our primary platform for website marketing analytics, providing us with critical insights into traffic attribution, conversion rates, and the entire user journey. The platform's flexibility allows us to seamlessly shift between a high-level view and granular detail, helping us understand why users convert (or don't) from the very first touchpoint. I particularly value the Funnel feature and the extensive filtering options, which enable precise reporting. It’s an effective daily tool for tracking our website's performance, and the support team has been consistently helpful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While initial setup requires someone knowledgeable, as the platform can be a bit overwhelming at first, the marketing analytics are quite robust. However, it's clear that the system is primarily built to serve the product side, which means distinguishing product and website analytics can require some extra effort. Furthermore, some out-of-the-box events may fire incorrectly. To be honest, I don't always fully trust the data: I've observed discrepancies when using different filters or groupings that should theoretically yield the same information. However, I am hopeful that they will refine the platform, as it's really helpful.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Answering the question of what our website visitors do or don't do before, if, they convert.

 ### 23. Great for Deep Analytics, But Takes Time to Learn

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohd J. | Administrative Assistant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Once you get the hang of it, Amplitude is really powerful for understanding user behavior. It's perfect when you need to dig deep into how users interact with your app. The segmentation features are excellent - you can slice and dice your user data in so many ways to find patterns and insights. For complex analyses, it's exactly what we need. But very complicated to navigate - requires a lot of learning.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's definitely not the most intuitive tool. Even checking simple things like basic user behavior requires going through several steps, which can be frustrating when you just want a quick answer. There's a lot to learn before you can use it efficiently, and it can feel overwhelming at first.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Amplitude to track and understand how users navigate our app and what actions they take. The detailed insights help us make better product decisions based on actual user behavior rather than guessing. It's particularly useful for identifying which features work well and where users might be getting stuck.

 ### 32. Amplitude Analytics helps track user behavior and convert data into clear, actionable insights.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satish n. | Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is its user-friendly interface and the depth of insights it provides. The platform makes it simple to analyze user behavior, build funnels, and track cohorts without requiring heavy technical skills. Its customizable dashboards allow quick access to the most relevant metrics, making decision-making faster and more data-driven. I also appreciate how seamlessly it supports experimentation and iteration, helping teams identify growth opportunities and optimize performance effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One limitation of Amplitude Analytics is that the initial setup and integration can be somewhat complex, especially for teams without prior analytics experience. Some of the advanced features may also require additional training to use effectively. Additionally, loading large datasets can sometimes be slow, and there could be more ready-to-use templates for common use cases to make the platform even more accessible.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps solve the challenge of understanding user behavior and tracking product performance in a detailed, data-driven way. By providing insights into user journeys, retention, and conversion patterns, it enables teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize features effectively. This benefits me by allowing quicker, informed decision-making, improving product strategies, and highlighting opportunities for growth, ultimately leading to more efficient and targeted efforts.

 ### 33. Empowers Experiment Analysis & User Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gorka O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I like the analysis I can run to understand how the users are behaving via the suite of analyses it offers - segmentations, funnels, user analyses, retention and stickiness charts, etc. Regarding experiments, it's really easy to set up charts to see the impact of different experiment variations on user behavior

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

For me, the main issue with Amplitude Analytics is some limitations in user segmentation in some charts. Specifically, I can't segment users by tenure. In this case, I have to resort to using other tools or directly query my data warehouse.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me analyze user behavior without complex queries on the data warehouse, making segmentation easy.

 ### 34. Amplitude an excellent tool for Product Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan H. | Data Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Amplitude is easy to set up in minutes and helps track all the events useful for growth

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

A bit complicated to navigate. I dislike that the home screen is an AI agent since I don't think it's really good at answering questions. If it could build reports for me or actually interact with the platform it would be good.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to track users and figure out what features they use most to provide best value to my users

 ### 38. Powerful Digital Insights with Flexible Self-Serve Analysis

It enables data-driven decision-making by replacing assumptions with actionable insights, helping us prioritize improvements, optimize campaigns and product experiences, and measure the impact of changes more effectively.
By identifying user behaviors that drive retention, conversion, and adoption, Amplitude helps improve customer experiences while supporting business growth and maximizing the return on digital investments.

 ### 39. User-friendly and Versatile for Detailed Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike v. | Product Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics user-friendly despite its many features. It allows me to quickly gain insights and to quickly create a chart or something similar. Additionally, I can filter or group in great detail. I also find it much more comprehensive and modern than other tools we have used.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes it's difficult to keep data clean and remove old events and properties.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to gain insight into how our platform is used, to identify low adoption of new features, to obtain customer feedback through surveys, and for detailed user data analysis.

 ### 40. Powerful, but with a steep learning curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davi F. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What stands out the most is its remarkable ability to answer complex questions about user behavior, something that few other tools manage to do as effectively. We are able to conduct deep and precise analyses of user journeys, and creating funnels and retention analyses is very straightforward. Additionally, despite the platform's depth and richness of features, its interface remains intuitive and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The conceptual learning curve is fairly steep, and the depth of insights you gain relies greatly on the specific events you implement and the properties you track. For teams used to working with a marketing metrics framework, adapting to a product analysis approach that centers on particular user actions can be challenging. Additionally, while there are some features related to marketing attribution, this tool is not best suited for that purpose. Its primary design is to help you understand user behavior within the product, rather than to optimize advertising spend or pinpoint which campaign achieved the highest ROI.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics addresses the fundamental challenge of understanding in-depth user behavior within a product, offering insights that go well beyond standard marketing metrics.

This has benefited us in several important ways. First, it gives us detailed visibility into user journeys. We are able to closely examine the paths users follow, set up funnels to pinpoint where they drop off, and generate retention charts that reveal patterns of long-term engagement.

Second, Amplitude enables us to answer complex 'why' questions. Rather than simply showing us what happened, it helps us uncover the reasons behind user actions by analyzing their specific behaviors and attributes.

Finally, it empowers our team by allowing product managers and designers to independently explore and answer their own questions. This reduces our reliance on data analysts and helps speed up the product development process.

 ### 41. Specific Graphics and Improved Efficiency with AI.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omaira M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude Analytics is that it allows us to generate different graphs to have a specific analysis. The information and data it offers us are very relevant, especially now that it is accompanied by artificial intelligence, which allows us to be more efficient when obtaining specific information.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It could be improved in the section for new users. When I search for specific information about a user, it doesn't take me directly to that point, but rather gives me general information.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand our users' behavior and optimize decisions that improve the user experience. I like generating graphs for specific analysis and the efficiency that artificial intelligence offers in accessing relevant information.

 ### 42. Powerful Funnel & Behavioural Analytics, but Charting and Complex Queries Take Workarounds

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The ability to quickly build funnels and segmentation without needing SQL, and the depth of behavioural analytics for understanding how users move through a product.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The chart-building UI can be unintuitive at first, and querying more complex datasets often requires workarounds rather than straightforward SQL access.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives our CRM and lifecycle team a reliable source of truth for user behaviour, helping us size audiences, validate Braze segments, and make evidence-based decisions on campaign targeting and messaging strategy.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Using behavioral analytics to size audiences and validate Braze segments is a strong use case, and I'm glad the no-SQL funnel building is making that accessible for your lifecycle team. The chart UI learning curve and needing workarounds for complex queries are fair gaps. If you haven't already, support.amplitude.com is worth a visit on the query side — there may be approaches that reduce some of that friction.

 ### 43. Easy GTM Dashboards and Notion Embeds That Simplify Updates & Storytelling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it extremely simple to create GTM friendly product usage dashboards. The ability to embed views in Notion pages makes my life easier for repeatable weekly status updates.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It can be a bit overwhelming to use (so many features), and I'm sure I'm not getting as much value out of it as I could be.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Amplitude as our central source for product and performance metrics. It’s been a lean, efficient way to enable our customer teams to track usage and measure the success of our PLG efforts.

 ### 44. Powerful Product Analytics Platform That Drives Data-Driven Decisions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayuresh H. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude stands out for its intuitive user interface and powerful product analytics capabilities. The ability to easily track user behavior, build cohorts, and visualize funnels helps in uncovering actionable insights quickly. Features like behavioral cohorts, retention analysis, and pathfinder reports make it easy to understand how users interact with a product and identify opportunities for growth. The platform’s real-time analytics and event segmentation are particularly useful for making fast, informed decisions. Additionally, the integrations with tools like Segment, Snowflake, and marketing platforms allow for seamless workflows across the analytics stack.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While Amplitude is feature-rich, it can feel a bit overwhelming for beginners due to its advanced capabilities. Setting up proper event tracking requires careful planning and technical involvement, which might be challenging for non-technical teams. The free plan is generous, but some of the most powerful features (like advanced governance, predictive analytics, and deep integrations) are only available in higher-tier plans, which may not be affordable for startups or smaller teams.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior at a granular level, which was previously a big challenge. Instead of relying on guesswork, we can now track the complete customer journey, identify drop-off points in funnels, and analyze which features drive engagement or retention.

It also solves the problem of siloed data by bringing behavioral, product, and growth analytics into one platform. This has benefited us by enabling data-driven product decisions, better personalization, and higher customer retention. With clear visibility into user actions, we can prioritize product improvements, optimize marketing campaigns, and ultimately drive growth with confidence.

 ### 45. Precise Segmentation and Customer Knowledge

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron F. | Product Analyst - Payments

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the ability of Amplitude Analytics to segment, especially at the level of flows, versions, and location. Being able to create cohorts and segment based on behavior is the most useful for me. Additionally, it is very user-friendly for creating journeys, segmentations, and funnels. I think it is a very useful tool that allows you to leverage the data to better understand customers and start segmenting and communicating more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I think could be improved is when you create segments and, let's say, you do a group by user IDs. How is it made available for downloads, for example, in CSV format to later analyze in our databases? The download process is somewhat not so good because sometimes it doesn't bring the totality of the people who meet the criteria I am segmenting, and when I want to download those people, I have fewer. Or the way the information is made available is not so good. I think that could be improved.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to better understand customer experience, identify pain points in flows, and make data-driven decisions. Its ability to segment by flow, version, and location is valuable for managing errors and optimizing conversion. We switched from Google Analytics, and the change was positive.

 ### 46. Amplitude empowers us with accessible user analytics, building a shared, data-informed culture.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit P. | Strategy & Product Analytics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Honestly, what I like best is that it lets you get answers to real questions about how people are using your product.

For starters, you can zoom in on super specific groups of users. Instead of looking at everyone, you can focus on just the people who, for example, signed up last month but haven't used a key feature yet. It helps you stop guessing and start knowing.

I also love how you can see the exact path people take through your app or website. It’s like seeing a trail of footsteps that shows you where they get confused or stuck, which is incredibly helpful for figuring out what to fix.

And maybe the best part is that you don't need to be a data genius to use it. It’s simple enough that our founders, product managers and marketers can find their own answers, which means everyone on the team can talk about what’s really happening with our users

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

First off, it can be a real beast to learn. It's not a tool you just pick up in an afternoon. You have to genuinely invest time to get the hang of it, which is tough when you just need a quick answer to a question.

It can also get seriously expensive, fast. The price is often tied to how much you use it, so the bill can creep up on you as your company grows. For smaller teams or startups, that price tag can be a real deal-breaker. We at MyMentalPal were on a scholarship programme last year, but have now opted for a paid plan.

Finally, the initial setup can be a nightmare. Everything depends on getting your data tracking right from day one. That means a ton of planning and help from developers, and if you get that part wrong, it's incredibly difficult to fix later.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Amplitude solves is that it stops us from just guessing what our users are doing. Before, it felt like we were flying blind. We knew people were signing up, but we had no idea what happened after that.

Now, I can answer really important questions. For example, I use the 'funnels' feature all the time to see exactly how many people complete a class from start to finish. It shows me the precise step where they get stuck or just give up, so we know what part of the class experience isn't working.

It's the same for our business goals. I can track the entire path from someone signing up for a free trial to the exact moment they pay for a subscription. Finding the drop-off points in that journey is huge—it tells us exactly what we need to fix to get more paying customers.

So, the benefit is simple: We're making decisions based on what people actually do, not on what we think they do."

 ### 47. Easily Build Dashboards and Understand User Behavior!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cain Y.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think Amplitude Analytics is really great for getting quick answers to data. I really like how simple it is to use and that there's a lot of options for how to display data. It covers most of the use cases I could use data for. It's very easy to organize, and the layout is quite easy to understand. It's also relatively easy to create events for web events, which helps me make quick day-to-day decisions based on how users react. It streamlines my ability to pull events without having to depend on engineers once they've been established.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find troubleshooting issues with Amplitude Analytics challenging. Sometimes, I'm not sure if the problem is with Amplitude not tracking things correctly, but often it turns out to be a technical issue with the company's data. It's a bit complex to understand and use Amplitude to its full potential, and I need to get a lot of information from internal engineers. Mobile tracking could be improved, but this might also reflect how my company's data lake is structured, making it harder to pull mobile events.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user behavior across features, enabling quick data-driven decisions without relying on engineers. It facilitates viewing page views and event sequences, making it easier to track user interactions and streamline my workflow.

 ### 48. Turning Data into Growth with Amplitude

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidit J. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it really easy to understand how users move through our product. The funnel and pathfinder reports are especially helpful in spotting drop-offs, while cohort analysis gives us a clear view of retention and engagement. I like that it’s truly self-serve — our product and marketing teams can pull insights quickly without waiting on data teams. The integrations with tools like Segment and Braze make it even more powerful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The learning curve can feel steep at first, especially for non-technical users. Some advanced features take time to master, and the number of report options can be overwhelming until you get used to the platform. I’ve also noticed that dashboards can feel a bit heavy to load when multiple charts are added.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior in detail — from acquisition all the way to retention. It solves the problem of relying too heavily on raw data pulls or engineering support by making analytics self-serve for product and marketing teams. We can quickly spot drop-offs in funnels, measure feature adoption, and track cohorts over time. This has directly helped us improve onboarding flows, increase retention, and make more confident product decisions.

 ### 49. Powerful self-serve product analytics that actually gets used

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It is easy to get real answers without waiting on the data team. Funnels, retention and path analysis feel natural and I can go from a hunch to a chart in minutes. Cohorts are my favorite part because I define a segment once and reuse it across reports and the dashbaord. For ease of use I would call it simple enough for PMs and marketers after a short ramp, but still powerful when you need to dig in.
For ease of implementation we added the web snippet and mobile SDKs and instrumented our core events in a single sprint. The tracking plan and event dictionary helped us avoid messy names. Docs were clear and the sample code saved us hours.
For customer support our CSM actually follows up, not just a bot. Tickets get a same day reply most of the time and the office hours were super helpful during onboarding. I wish some replies were less templated, but overall they are responsive and kind.
For frequency of use I am in Amplitude almost every day. I check a few core dashboards in the morning, then build ad hoc funnels a couple times a week. Leadership reviews the weekly product report straight from Amplitude links, which keeps us aligned.
For ease of integration it plays nicely with our CDP and warehouse. We send cohorts to our messaging tool, share charts to Slack, and backfill data from the warehouse without drama. Setting up permissions across spaces was a bit wierd at first, but once we set a convention it stuck.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There is a learning curve once you move past the basics. Advanced formulas and very specific cohort logic take practice and I still trip over it ocassionally. If you rush the event schema you will spend time on cleanup later, so plan that upfront. The interface can feel busy and sometimes I forget where a chart was saved. Pricing is fair but can grow with event volume, so governance and archival matter. Export options could be a little more flexible. None of these are deal breakers. Overall I would definately reccommend it for teams that want trustworthy product analytics that people actually use.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business analyst, the biggest problem Amplitude solves for us is turning messy product behavior into clear, trustworthy insigts that anyone on the team can use. Before, I spent hours writing SQL and reconciling dueling numbers from different tools. Now we have one place to explore the journey from first touch to retention, and I can answer most questions in minutes instead of days.

It closes our self serve gap. Product managers, designers and even support leads can build funnels and retention views on their own, so I am not a bottleneck anymore. That speed shows up in real work. We spot where users drop off, build a cohort right from that step, and send it to marketing or in app messaging. The loop from finding a problem to acting on it is much shorter.

Amplitude also fixes our definition drift. The tracking plan and event dictionary force us to agree on names and properties. That sounds boring, but it means we finally have one source of truth for activation, engagement and upgrade. Execs look at the same dashbaords we do, which reduces the debate and focuses us on the decision.

For prioritizaiton, the impact analysis is gold. I can slice usage by persona, plan tier or region and show which features actually drive repeat visits and revenue proxy metrics. That makes roadmap talks way less opinion driven. When we ship, I use cohorts and baseline retention to show if a change really moved the needle or if it was just noise.

Integrations help too. We bring in warehouse attributes, backfilled when needed, and send audiences back out to our messaging tools. That keeps our campaigns aligned with real product behavior, not just guesswork.

Net benefit is faster cycle time, fewer rework loops, and clearer accountability. I spend less time pulling data and more time explaining what it means. Even with the ocassional learning curve and a UI that can feel busy, the day to day value is obvious. It helps our team make better decisions, quicker, and with confidence that the numbers are right.

 ### 50. Powerful analytics platform with room for usability improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude makes it incredibly easy to analyze user behavior across our app and break it down into meaningful segments. The ability to create custom cohorts, run funnel analyses, and track retention over time gives us actionable insights we can use to optimize both marketing and product strategy. I especially like the flexibility of dashboards, how quickly queries run compared to other tools, and the integration options with our existing marketing stack. It’s become a central tool for our growth experiments and data-driven decision-making

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While powerful, Amplitude can feel overwhelming for newer team members. Some features require a learning curve, and occasionally the UI feels less intuitive than it could be — especially when managing complex dashboards or advanced computed properties. Pricing at scale can also become a concern for smaller teams, and we’ve found that some integrations require additional setup or support. Overall, nothing is a dealbreaker, but streamlining the UX and making onboarding smoother would make it even better.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us centralize and understand user behavior data across our app, which previously was fragmented and hard to analyze. By enabling us to build funnels, retention cohorts, and segmentation by demographics or behaviors, it solves the problem of not knowing why users are dropping off or which features drive engagement. This has directly benefited us by improving campaign targeting, optimizing onboarding flows, and validating product experiments faster. The visibility into user journeys also helps align product, marketing, and leadership teams around a single source of truth, which speeds up decision-making and improves ROI on our initiatives.
