## Amplience Reviews
  ### 1. Intuitive Drag-and-Drop CMS: Fast Multi-Region Management & Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayne B. | Senior Digital Content Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience is a easy to use CMS with the drag and drop components a quick and straight forward way to build multiple different page types at speed. We're able to create and manage content for 17 regions at the touch of a button. The team at Amplience are truly the best thing about them though, always on hand to help, fast to respond and give clear visibility of their future roadmap to help us confirm next steps.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

To have more of the AI capabilities out of the box would be a nice to have. Perhaps something that will be added in future.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being an innovation partner with Amplience has also allowed us to have a direct impact on their roadmap, what we’re looking to do next and then working together to make it happen. The product team are more involved in day-today meetings and QBR’s. It also means we’re one of a few brands working very closely with them on how we can now automate ways of working and create agentic AI workflows for the things like Product Descriptions, Social Captions and translations.

  ### 2. A Real Time-Saver for Content Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serena P. | Digital Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

I find Amplience very simple and easy to use, allowing us to create and schedule content for websites and apps efficiently. It's quicker than using code, which saves us a lot of time. I really like that you can see all the images needed and find content that needs updating easily. The ability to schedule multiple pieces of content across many different hubs is a big help, especially as we have over 30 websites to update with just a team of two. Using Amplience makes it so much easier for us to handle our workload.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Sometimes the loading can be slow, and it can be confusing to use with different locales for different countries. Extra time is needed to go through locales as they work differently compared to the UK, making it harder to understand. We often have to manually go through slots to find the correct pieces of content.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplience to create and schedule content faster and more simply than coding. It lets me view needed images, easily update content, and schedule multiple pieces across hubs, saving time for my team of two managing over 30 websites.

  ### 3. Amplience Has Changed the Game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgia W. | Midweight Designer, Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

What I like best about Amplience is how much it has improved my day-to-day work. Since our company introduced it, managing content across our websites and apps has become much faster and more efficient. As part of a team of only two people responsible for more than 30 websites, Amplience has enabled us to make updates and content changes quickly, without the complexity and delays we experienced before. It has significantly streamlined our workflow and made it much easier to maintain a consistent experience across all our digital platforms.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

The main area for improvement is the image upload process in Content Hub. Having to upload and then separately publish images adds an extra step to the workflow. Automatic publishing on image uploads would make the process more efficient. However, Amplience is always evolving and making improvements, which is something I really appreciate about the platform.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplience has solved many of the challenges associated with managing content across multiple websites. It has streamlined our content management processes and made website updates and changeouts seamless. This has elevated the overall quality and consistency of our websites while significantly reducing the time required to make changes. As a result, our small team can efficiently manage and maintain over 30 websites with speed and confidence.

  ### 4. Flexible Multichannel Content Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | SEO Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

What I like best about Amplience is how flexible it is for managing and publishing content across different channels. Once the content models are set up properly, it becomes much easier for marketing and content teams to build campaigns, update assets, and localize experiences without depending on developers for every change.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

What I dislike about Amplience is that it can feel quite complex at the beginning. The setup and content modeling require a clear technical understanding, and for non-technical users the interface is not always immediately intuitive. Once everything is configured well, it works much better, but the learning curve can be noticeable.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplience helps solve the challenge of managing content and digital assets across multiple channels and markets in one place. It allows our teams to create, update, reuse, and localize content more efficiently, without relying on developers for every change. This benefits us by making campaigns faster to launch, improving consistency across touchpoints, and giving marketing teams more control over the customer experience.

  ### 5. Amplience content creator

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantelle G. | Senior UX UI Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

DAMs really helpful and easy for image storage and locating. Amplience feels very intuitive and clear in how its presented t users. We train multiple teams to use it and they always get the hang of it rapidly due to ease of use. Appears to be lots of upcoming integration possibilities. and the original onboarding was really seamless.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Content changes aren't instant. Some take five minutes some take up to 45 minutes. Doesn't seem to be any consistency but this could also be due to how it is setup within the business.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving a drag and drop content problem previously we used all html code. Which was time consuming. Helps us to rapidly create and schedule large volumes of content changes.

  ### 6. Backend-to-Frontend Consistency Makes Content Updates Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John O. | Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

I like the 1-1 match of the CMS backend to the front-end product. Whatever changes I made in the backend matched what I saw in the front-end, which made it easy to create and update content.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

It was a bit too complicated for a general content-/editorial-focused CMS. Too big of a tool to run daily content operations,

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI-generated text/content allows me to create content at scale and with speed. This is a daily problem that content teams face.

  ### 7. Quick, Intuitive UI That Handles Large Image Libraries Smoothly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devan C. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The UI is quick and intuitive. The setting options are useful, and pretty easy to work through. They handle large image counts very smoothly, and we rarely have issues with imports or display.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Being able to add or import our own alt text without using the native AI-generation would be a nice feature.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick, efficient image display across our websites and apps. Storage of large numbers of images and files.

  ### 8. Amplience: A Set-It-and-Forget-It CDN for High Volume Digital Asset Needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron S. | Senior Digital Product Manager, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience is a 'set-it-and-forget-it' solution for our teams. The CDN is reliable and delivers consistently high availability.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

We receive a lot of errors back from the calls to the CDN and it has slowness in it's response times.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our ecommerce site needs to rely on a large inventory of images.

  ### 9. Good system, could do with some minor tweaks in our own set up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Direct contact with Andre was beneficial. although sometimes limited the ease of the CMS can make some jobs very easy

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

I don’t think the limitations I’m encountering are an Amplience issue; they seem to stem more from the components we’ve developed.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

site update speed has improved and the use of components over HTML is invaluable. Has sped up out working process no end. Also given wider members the ability to edit content.

  ### 10. User-Friendly GUI That’s Easy to Navigate

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The GUI is user-friendly. Easy to understand and navigate around

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

there are few things not able to duplicate easily at the moment, For example if i want to create 50 brands, currently have to done manually which is time-consuming

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for now, some of our group website moved to Amplience. More advanced technology i would say and more modern, there is always a guide or consultant there to inquire or help out

  ### 11. Sleek Design, Intuitive UI, but Setup is Time-Consuming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

I use Amplience for managing marketing content on our site, and I like that it serves as a content management system that is headless and connects with lots of tools. I appreciate its automation and AI capabilities. Additionally, I like the UI, it's intuitive and fast, and I find it reliable. The design is sleek and intuitive, making it stand out.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Sometimes the logic of certain things could be improved. It was difficult to set up and took a whole year or two.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplience for its content management system. It's headless, connects with lots of tools, and has automation and AI capabilities.

  ### 12. Well-Organized Platform with Clear Labelling and Journey Structure

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience is a well organised platform with clear labelling and journey structure throughout use

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Maybe the on-going support could be more thorough - because it is so detailed, there's still learnings to be had!

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UX/UI for sure!
Helping with on-page performance through being able to incorporate added features we wouldn't be able to otherwise

  ### 13. Simple and powerful CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience is a very user-friendly and flexible platform. The interface is intuitive, which makes managing content straightforward even for non-technical users. Its flexibility allows us to adapt quickly to different content needs and workflows, and it integrates well with our existing systems. Overall, it makes content management more efficient and scalable.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

One thing I’d like to see improved in Amplience is the inclusion of more AI-driven features in the standard package. While the platform is easy to use and flexible, having built-in AI capabilities would make it even more powerful out of the box.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplience is helping us streamline content management by bringing everything into one flexible platform. It solves the problem of managing large volumes of digital assets and content across multiple channels, making it much easier to keep everything consistent and up to date.

It has made content updates faster and easier. The tools are flexible, and we can make changes without needing developers every time.

The scheduling setup could be smarter with a simple route for smaller site updates. A split between simple and advanced scheduling would make managing updates more efficient.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abraham D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The most valuable and simple tool in the market for easy content creation and modification at any time, with many functionalities and making the content more powerful and intuitive.
The tools and functionalities of this platform are too essential and efficient for making digital content management possible and easy. Makes it very easy to reuse the campaigns and template ideas from similar media or websites for better and innovative results.
You can also add a URL, give, location, or path for desired files. The UI is a customizable and user-friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

The images can't be directly imported and can't be now used for creating templates and content. You need a third-party application to make it go, but this sometimes could result in lagging of the platform.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to use all the images from other platforms and websites for making and creating the most exciting and unique campaigning templates with the help of this tool. There isa feature in this software which compresses the photos, is quite helpful as it made my workflow more efficient.

  ### 29. The Content Management Master

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

The software has got the ability to move images into different folders without the interference of Url names on the Web. Using the features on the dashboard, the creation of content on the website becomes very easy, simple and dynamic. You choose the content you wish to develop and any image that will fit the content.
From document word, the software has the ability to copy and paste where it can as well create and reuse templates.
It's very reliable, outstanding software that is very fast and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

It's a bit slow sometimes but eventually delivers. It's my hope that soon it gets faster than its now.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management of Web content problems is taken care of.

**Reviewed by:** Haseeb N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The business team can directly manage the content without tech intervention. And it's so dynamic as they can do changes when required. For the tech team also easy to roll out the changes.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

1. Need bulk upload of the dynamic content and it's very much needed for the content as well as the tech team.
2. Need bulk approval and bulk publish functionality needed.
3. Need bulk delete or cleanup feature needed.
4. Scheduling part needs to be matured more.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dynamic content is solving our web content management problems. Still there is some improvement needed.

**Official Response from Jen Wolcott:**

> Thank you for this feedback Haseeb. I am pleased to confirm that we are launching improved features this month which will allow bulk action on up to 200 items at a time including bulk publish, unpublish and delete. It would be great to hear more specifically about what you're looking to achieve with scheduling so we can feed this back to our product team - can you share more detail with your Customer Support Manager? (cs@amplience.com)

Automatically optimize and transform dynamic media which improve visual experiences.

  ### 40. Good for front end but doesn't do everything

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catie B. | Digital Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

It's straightforward to create content when you have the templates built and set up. Used alongside with Commerce Tools to help create categories . For front end creation, it does a lot well.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

It doesn't do everything and the fact that there isn't any HTML limits what you can change/add to your site. That, along with the fact that for an e-commerce site you have to ensure all the software links up and matches otherwise, everything breaks and can make it difficult to catch problems quickly. Also, with caching, it can take changes nywhere from 45 minutes to and hour and a half to pull through.

**Recommendations to others considering Amplience:**

For content creation this is a great tool and will help make life so much easier. Not only does it allow you to make changes on the fly it also means you don't need to understand HTML in order to make those changes. The only downside is you need to have all the components made before hand so you need to know what components you need prior to setting up a website through Ampleince. This can make it a pain when you need more creating later down the line but once you have them, it really is a great place for content creation.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have more control over content that we create, without the need for a lot of design input is a welcome benefit. It also allows us to decide whether to index or noindex pages quickly. And, we also have a lot more control over our blog pages and being able to schedule content to go out when we need it.

  ### 41. Great tool for content and asset management (especially for content editors)

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience has a great way to organise content with schemas and publish content with slots. Recently, got to know about fancy media set api and personalization service. Visualisation is a good feature for editors to visualise content without front end or tech knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Definitely, not developer friendly! Caching issue has troubled me for a while now (sometimes it takes minutes to hours) to reflect changes.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great tool for content editors to manage content and assets. Straight forward software

  ### 42. Top tier content management system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience is a great content management system that makes creating, modifying, and scheduling content a breeze. The ability to create and reuse templates is essential for scaling projects and new features.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Not many downsides to Amplience, but I would appreciate more built-in shortcuts. As a content developer, I often re-update content many times per day, including updated individual content items and slots. If there was a keyboard shortcut to perform these actions, it would make my life a lot easier!

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage all our brand content through Amplience, so it is an essential tool. One large benefit is that if using templates, everything is tied together. So if I have many content types using my templates and need to make a change to a template on the fly, all the content tied to it will be updating using new styling/script or whatever I need to change.

  ### 43. It's a really good platform for people with several websites to upload imagery too

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

That you can move images into different folders and it doesn't effect the url names and file paths on websites. Which again is brilliant for people managing several websites for different brands.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

When you name a folder you have a short amount of time to edit the name before it times out, which can be annoying when working on tight deadlines. Sometimes due to it timing out I think I have named a folder, and it auto exits the editing process.

**Recommendations to others considering Amplience:**

It's really good for people with several sites to manage and I recommend their platform for people needing image hosting servcies.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really good for navigation and the feature of bith dynamic and static banners is really good for dynamic sites and comprehensive html emails. We always struggled with Gif's on our old image hosting til we used amplience.

  ### 44. I am still exploring

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

No coding required, user friendly interface and fast.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Nothing in specific so far, as I am still exploring.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned, still exploring but it seems it would benefit us in creating customized products in-house and increrase site response.

  ### 45. Overall very useful

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard B. | Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The simplicity and the ability to copy and paste from word documents

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

The inability to check the work on a live site and the scheduling

**Recommendations to others considering Amplience:**

Each experience is unique and will vary depending on your needs the use of Ampliance has been very for us and has greatly increased our productivity

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed at which we can draft pages implementing different block styles on a single page

  ### 46. A great platform for customizing products

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittani S. | eCommerce Merchandiser, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The user-friendly platform and the ability for anyone without a coding background to create a customizable product for their site.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Communication between the customer and the company is good but could be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Amplience:**

This company is excellent when starting out and learning the basics of what you can do with your own site and products. You must have a very hands-on approach as a lot of the driving force will come from your team to implement the tools that Amplience has to offer. If this is you, then Amplience is the place to start.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating customized products in-house, which is something we didn't think would ever happen. The benefits are we get to control the entire process of setting up a product and making it available for purchase.

  ### 47. Exactly what you expect from a DAM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

The support from the Amplience team is fantastic - they are always willing to investigate solutions to business problems and present options.
They are quick to pick up issues and work through problems and this makes working with them a pleasure.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

There are some technical limitations around webhooks which mean we have to look at periodic checks or manifest files to get updates.
I understand this is on the roadmap for Amplience.

**Recommendations to others considering Amplience:**

Amplience is a brilliant CMS, and with the developments listed in their roadmap, things will only become more accessible and increase the capabilities on offer.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplience is our Digital Asset Management system and ensures we have access to the most recent version of the content at all times - the ease of access via URL means integration to multiple endpoints is easy and quick

  ### 48. Easy Image Management

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Amplience makes content management easy. When creating content for our website, the process is simple and easily understood. You choose the content you want to develop and any image that will fit that particular content - as specified in your setup - is there for you to choose.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

Not particularly fond of the planning aspect or view of Amplience. I prefer to build campaigns in two-week implements and then have the ability to set content for different dates within the same campaign. In Amplience, you must create a new campaign for each asset that runs on separate dates.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Amplience, we experienced slow loading times on mobile due to PWA and image content. The headless environment gives us the ability to be more flexible with content placement on our website.

  ### 49. I don't enjoy it, but I don't hate it (most of the time.)

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

I can quickly make updates to our website. Once you learn what you need to do it's fairly easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

There's so many quirks that make it confusing to use. There are so many extra things that don't apply to what I'm doing and cause confusion. There are a lot of things that are redundant. If I didn't have someone physically showing me what to do and where to find things I would be so lost. It's not intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Amplience:**

This is the first program I've used of this type so I don't have much experience but I would make sure to look at all the options out there and compare to see if this is the right fit for you.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly just creating web pages and updating existing pages. The updates are easy to make and see quickly but there is so much repetitive work and changing small things that takes forever.

  ### 50. Not the most intuitive or user friendly platform I've used.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplience?**

Being able to repurpose content into various formats and content types.

**What do you dislike about Amplience?**

I don't like how you have to upload an image to content hub and then re-add the image into Amplience. Would be useful if the image automatically pulled through. Also not keen on how many steps there are for editing copy.

**What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content hub is easy to use and the ability to set the focal point on assets is very helpful.
