**What do you like best about Altrata?**

We love using Altrata to get detailed information about our supporters. The dossiers are delivered quickly and are extremely thorough. The platform is easy to navigate which saves us time. Our experience with Jacque was fantastic as well. She has been a great resource for our team and always there to answer any questions we may have. We have had great successes by partnering with Altrata and will surely continue to use them to build our fundraising efforts.

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

I wish we could use them more, but credits are limited across our university.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to know more about our donors, and Altrata helps build us amazing dossiers where we can learn about their philanthropy and connections. It saves us time researching and allows us to have much more information than we could just find online.

**What do you like best about Altrata?**

Altrata has helped our university to bring transformational change to our principal gifts program. Through this partnership, we have been able to understand the wealth of our prospects in a deeper way. Implementation was extremely easy and we were able to get started almost immediately. We have received extensive research when requested and alway get the best customer service. As we were building our principal gifts program from scratch, Altrata has been an invaluable partner in the process. I am using the Wealth X platform almost daily.  The interface is easy to use and I have been able to integrate the data seamlessly with Salesforce. We are looking forward to more great work!

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

We have not experienced any downsides. There is a financial investment but that is to be expected with a high quality product.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altrata is our solution for understanding the highest level prospects - their wealth, their investments and philanthropy, and their familial connections.

**What do you like best about Altrata?**

My institution has used WealthX, an Altrata product for many years. It is an essential tool for getting insights on our ultra-high net worth individuals. We often combine our internal research with theirs to provide the most comprensive intel on potentially large asks for our university. Fundraisers appreciate the liquidity estimate portion of the intel as we do not calculate that internally. We have used the service for 'name checks' for international prospects, as well as dossiers. The customer service is very good and I've enjoyed the updates provided as well as the research materials with insights into the UHNW market. Additionally, we search our institution regularly to ensure we have captured everything we can on what's in the platform.

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

The product struggles to maintain user-wide lists, which makes it hard to keep track of saved dossiers across multiple users. Sometimes their real estate intel is not super reliable. However, we combine our own capabilities of real estate research with their other more bespoke data points.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altrata provides liquidity estimates for our top prospects.

**What do you like best about Altrata?**

Altrata draws from multiple high-end data sources (e.g., Wealth-X, BoardEx, etc.), so you have deep profiles on top-net-worth individuals and high-level decision-makers. Not just name and title — it's wealth metrics, relationships, affiliations, etc. One of the coolest features is how it maps out personal and professional relationships. That’s gold if you’re doing business development, fundraising, or recruitment at the executive level. Knowing who knows whom is a game-changer.

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

It's definitely on the pricey side. The price can be steep, especially for smaller orgs or teams that are just beginning with data-driven prospecting or talent intelligence. Because it taps into multiple datasets (like Wealth-X, BoardEx, RelSci), the navigation and interface are initially confusing. It's not always the most intuitive tool out of the gate.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altrata has disrupted sales intelligence by offering deep, high-quality information on senior decision-makers and high net worth individuals, cutting through the white noise to reach the right prospects sooner. With the ability to see verified backgrounds, wealth indicators, and relationship networks, outreach can be hyper-targeted and personalized, not another cold call. It's especially good for enterprise or high-ticket sales where having visibility into influence and relationships is important. While the platform does have a high cost and a learning curve, the depth of data quality and global access far exceed it if you are truly interested in smarter prospecting.

**What do you like best about Altrata?**

I like how easy it is to use and how accessible my customer service team is when I don't understand something. They are always there for me, ready to listen to my needs and help me solve my problems. Truly your customer service is excpetional. I am also very fond of everything just working the way it should, there are never any weird complications or reasons why I can't do something that I should be able to do. It just works.

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

The only downside to Altrata is that you can't reach out to my prospects and get them on the phone with me!

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a nonprofit organization looking to grow our Major, Principal, and Transformational giving donor pool. Altrata helps us find the UHNW individuals we have closest connections with, helps us find knew people we didn't know about, and saves us time in researching those folks.

**What do you like best about Altrata?**

Altrata products make it very easy for my firm to track out connections. I use it daily to keep informed of any position movement and find contacts at new companies we are trying to maintain relationships with. The system is also very easy and intuitive to use!

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

The only downside to Altrata is the variance in features between different products, which has led to my firm leveraging two different platforms.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altrata makes it easy for us to track movement in our firm relationships and find connections at different companies. Without it, this processes would be very challenging.

Altrata has been great at identifying UHNW individuals that we were previously unaware of.  The ability to request further research and due dilligence has been very valuable.

**What do you dislike about Altrata?**

The cost may be out of reach for some organizations.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The large number of constitutents associated with our organziation can make it difficult to find those with strategic and financial interests in supporting our organization.  Altrata has been helpful in identifying some of those constiuents which has resulted in higher engagement, volunteerism and philanthropy.

Research findings are frequently updated by request rather than updated in real time - sometimes data is outdated.

**What problems is Altrata solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing specific and aggregate research to approximate individual wealth estimates, and utilizing 'big-picture'/macrodata to analyze UHNW individual wealth trends.

I like that information is accessible and it is intuitive/user friendly.

It would be helpful if information was updated more regularly, although I understand that's not always possible and it is helpful to have the option to request an update on a user profile.
