I used to have an agency handle our template creation for email, but with this tool the AI gets a better result and it is so much easier to manage. I give it a quick brief about our vaccination reminders or new client welcome series, and it spits back complete drafts with subject line, body, call-to-action, the whole thing. The first version is always pretty close to what I need, and it is easy to fix what I don't like. The quality check catches weak spots before emails go live, so at least I know what's solid and what needs work. When I first ditched the agency all I could realistically manage was one generic monthly newsletter. The first time I logged in I spent a little while poking around to figure out where everything was. Once I got the layout down it went fast, but those first few clicks through menus felt a bit aimless. It would be great if they could add some walkthrough videos. This AI really understands what I need. I usually use Mailchimp, but the AI design tools with AlpacaRelay are much better. Every single email looks great and matches my brand perfectly. I can’t believe how easy it is to use, which is what matters to me. Getting started was also very easy, and even people who are new to this can figure it out quickly. The templates look really nice and you can upload your own existing HTML file which makes it easy to customise and improve designs. It's easy to export from AlpacaRelay, and the tool produces MJML so I never run into issues with the design behaving different in different email clients. The scoring system is what sold me. I upload an html file and it breaks down exactly what's working and what isn't. I get a clear set of recommendations that I can roll in with a click. Figuring out what works is always a bit of a guessing game, but this gives me a lot more confidence before I kick off a new campaign. The AI in this tool works a lot better for me than other tools I've tried. I've tried out 4-5 other tools and they all miss the mark. AlpacaRelay seems to have a better understanding of what I'm looking for, and the emails look ready to send with just a few tweaks. When I do need to make edits, it is easy and I can just drag and drop or else use the AI to edit for me. I like the scoring tool also which helps make sure there are no big gaps before I send. I like everything to be just right on my email campaigns, and the little details took forever to fix with the premade templates on other platforms. With AlpacaRelay I can tell it exactly what I want, and that's what I get. If it needs to be changes then it helps with that too. The attention to detail is huge, and it saves me so much time. The AI chat is built right into the editor. It's really amazing what this can do. I've already used it for a tune-up reminder, upgrade discounts in the low-season, and to pitch recurring memberships. I was using Mailchimp before, but their templates were generic and I needed to spend a lot of time editing before they were ready to send. The chat also just answers questions about how the tool works instead of me digging through help docs. The thing that really got me was when I tested a rewritten subject line on a maintenance reminder. New version hit 28% opens, old one was at 18%. Big difference. This product needs more integrations. It's a solid template generator but right now I still need to export and upload to my send platform.
