I've found the AI chatbot here to be a complete game changer. It's like my personal strategy assistant, and I can ask it whatever I want and it just does it. It doesn't need you to write an essay. I just tell it 'write a flu shot reminder for September, mention walk-ins welcome' and get back a complete draft that sounds better than what I could do myself. I started using alpacarelay almost 6 months ago and the product has come a long way in that time. It started with AI template generation and scoring, which is what got me to sign up. The downside at the start is that they didn't have any send or list management tools so I had to keep my ESP. Now they've added it and I can do everything I was doing on Constant Contact before, so I was able to drop my membership. The templates are great. The scoring system is what I like the most. I paste in any email draft and I get a detailed report about what needs to be fixed before it goes out to my guests. Some of my subject lines were likely to hit spam filters, which I never would have caught on my own. I've fixed emails that would've bombed just by looking at the scores first. First one I generated shipped as-is, took 4 minutes from brief to send. Some drafts need tweaking, but even then I'm looking at 15 minutes max versus the hour-plus it used to take starting from scratch. AlpacaRelay's email quality score feature is the one we use the most on the platform. After uploading a draft of any email, its weaknesses can be clearly seen before it is sent to clients. It suggests some excellent corrections, and its AI does the main work on its own. This greatly boosts our confidence before sending any campaign. Its performance data still remains within our email service provider (ESP). Especially for some of our clients, we have to use Mailchimp, but there is no direct integration with it. The setup was stupid easy. I signed up one afternoon, drafted my spring recital announcement, and it was ready in 5 minutes. I'm not a software guy at all and the template editor just made sense without me having to dig through menus. The AI does most of the work to generate the email. My one wish is better ways to organize contact lists. Right now managing parent emails, student info, and sibling groups is kind of a manual process. If I could tag lists and search them I could send stuff to just the piano families or the beginner violin kids without having to manually pick everyone each time.
