**What do you like best about Ahrefs?**

It is very easy for us to check our homepage for errors. By the automatic analysis we see always immediately if a link does not function any more and besides we see the number of the backlinks exactly.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

The limit for daily checks of domains is unfortunately a bit low with 15 pages per day - this could be increased.

**What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this tool we can always check if our homepage is optimized for seo purposes. The functions for searching keywords are also good. So we can get a higher traffic on our homepage.

I can analyze all keywords in the dashboard and see all related and relevant, similar keywords. The domain analysis is also good.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

Not all parameters are calculated exactly in the domain analysis. The speedrank is not taken into account.

We can use the tool to regularly analyze our homepage and find relevant keywords for our content.

After adding new options to the Ahrefs (like Link Intersect, Top Pages 2.0) and Domain Rating history change, this is the one tool that any SEO Specialist/Expert only need.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

Sometimes is working reallys slow and some analysis need more time, so I like to export links to csv and do it on Google Sheets.

SEO Audits for clients (both potential and existing customers), domain comparision, checking opportunities for new backlinks.

The best part of Ahrefs keyword explorer is that it can help you with country wise keyword volume data. It can also help you check the SERP result across any country and with respect to languages.

The only bad is they have high restrictions on limits when it comes to $99 plan.

"The interface for the dash board is easy to navigate allowing my team to gather information easily.

Accuracy of the data is sometimes underwhelming and doesn't match other prominent sites. This makes it difficult to believe which data sets are correct, however AHREFs data set likes to deviate from the norm.

I'm yet to see an SEO tool offer the level of depth and detail offered by Ahrefs. The dashboards are easy-to-understand despite being packed with information.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

I don't feel like I'm making full use of all of the features that are available, so surfacing some of the insights I'm missing would be super useful. So when I log in, I can be told exactly what needs acting on – such as pages will slow load times, pages that have significantly dropped in search visibility, or high authority backlinks we have gained or lost.

**What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking keyword rankings. Knowing what keywords we're getting getting traffic for for but not tracking – great for doing further on-site optimisation or finding new content we could be writing. Getting a quick understanding on how algorithm updates have impacted our site. Competitor auditing and benchmarking.

**What do you like best about Ahrefs?**

We have been using Ahref for building backlinks and doing keyword research for our blog and I am extremely happy with the performance of this tool.  This tool complete insights about a keyword like if we work on it so how many clicks we will get, CPC, already ranking websites and how many backlinks they have made to rank on the first page of google which is amazing. It help us to rank on the first page of Google on several keywords. And also I can spy on my competitors to know on which keywords they are ranking, how many backlinks they have made everything

This tool is bit costly otherwise it is a great tool

**What do you like best about Ahrefs?**

Ahrefs is an online and revolutionary analytics tool that holds different tools such as Link building, Competitors Keyword research & analysis, Track Ranking, Site Audit, and many more. Ahref outcomes solve all your SEO queries with a simple audit or run.
I am a frequent user of Ahref and especially keyword Researching is most authentic and powerful. To find the top keywords and pages of a specific website that are ranking on search engines Ahref is the best choice. Backlinks are an important factor in improving the site so Ahref also provides insight into referring domains.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

The tool has a little Complex Interface for beginners they need some training before using it. There are multiple filters that are not working properly like referring domains. One of the cons of Ahref is less Internal link opportunities. It can not show 100 % accurate stats but considered the most accurate tool in recent times. I personally think that Domain Rating in Ahref is not exactly matters in ranking because this rating only belongs to this tool, not for google or bing.

I will recommend Ahref to everyone in online business for the sake of success in tracking business insights.

The tool is a complete problem-solving package in terms of analytics and insights. I  usually use this tool for keyword research from competitor's websites to compete in search engines like google. It provides me all the details and insights of the online websites as well as domain audits for the sake of creating room for improvement. 
Well, I loved it because it helps me a lot to rank my content on search engines.

In this tool I can check all our settings and analyses at a glance. The tool allows us to do a seo search and find the most suitable seo keywords.

I can view each report individually but unfortunately I cannot see a comparison of all 3 activated homepages.

I like the ease of using this tool. Just put in the URL of the website you want to scan and you can get information such as links back to your site as well as data on Organic Search Keywords and PPC data.

I think the thing that would make it the best tool out there is real keyword research. Something that other tools miss is some really nice local search data.

I also love how much information is available. It is definitely worth the money.

Sometimes the data does not match Google Search Console. Though it is always close, sometimes I worry about the accuracy of the data.

We have recently shifted to ahref and it was move worth. The accurate information which it provides for keywords analysis and backlink analysis is great. It has helped us to identify the best keywords to work upon and also find our competitors and see their backlink profiles and build backlinks for our company. **What do you like best about Ahrefs?**

I love how Ahrefs makes SEO so intuitive and simple with both their product and their blog tips. We use it to expand our keyword research, find new topics to cover, analyze our competition, keep track of our rankings, and manage our links profile (inbound & outbound). It's hard for me to pick only one best thing since Ahrefs is so sophisticated, user-friendly and great. There are some things to improve, but no tool is perfect.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

Ahrefs doesn't always recognize when a link is "nofollowed" or not, for example from Medium.com (which by default, all links are nofollowed). Not all suggested searches from Google appear in Ahrefs' Keyword Explorer - either because the searches are new and the team didn't manage to fetch them yet, who knows. It's sad that they no longer offer a free plan, so you'll need to do a 7-day trial which doesn't offer you enough time to learn it. I'm an older user, since the days when Ahrefs could have been used for free.

Take your time trying the tool out, go through their documentation, don't hesitate to ask them questions (their customer service is great), and follow their tips (both on their blog and their YouTube videos).

I am really impressed with the accurate information that it provides. What I like best the backlinks analysis for our competitors with the direct link to the URL which help us to create backlinks. Also we do keyword research using this tool and find low competition keywords and even can download the list. Apart from this the site audit report which it shares is best and help us to resolve the errors in our website

One aspect that i don't like about this tool that it provides only 25 keyword searches in a day and after that it limits it which I don't like. They should increase the keyword research limit

Ahrefs has consistently provided better site metric data and keyword data than any other competitor i've tried (SEMRUSH, etc.). I have used this tool daily for 5 years and couldn't imagine my workflow without it.

There really isn't much to say here. Maybe that I wish there was more robust youtube keyword data.

I like the scope of extensive research. Once I find a seed keyword, I can dig inside the whole business. 
When it comes to talking about spying on the competitors, Ahrefs is very good and provides data points very effectively and efficiently. The database is also updated very promptly and the live index is very accurate.

The main struggle for me is advertising research. It would be better if it could have that PPC research option as well.

Ahrefs is a great product if you're in SEO. You can easily turn the tables for your business if you use it the right way. They have a whole bunch of videos to learn from.

I love that Ahrefs is one of the best Backlink Crawlers i have ever used. They crawl backlinks every 15 mins allows you to see if new backlinks are being linked back to your website fast. I also love how they rank your website telling you how credible it is from a scale of 1 to 100.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

I specifically use Ahrefs for backlink building and analyzing and have no issues with it.

I highly recommend using Ahrefs for backlink checking. It saves me alot of stress to ensure things don't go wrong.

**What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Ahrefs, I can make sure that the backlinks I'm building are being crawled. For other SEO tools, they don't report the backlink for months until it gets crawled. However with Ahrefs, it gets crawled within the week. It shows me the backlink, the origin, the anchor tag an where it's linking to. This allows me to know it's been done properly and I don't have to worry about contacting a webmaster to fix it.

The best part about this tool is the crawling ability of Ahref bot. They crawl trillions of pages to fetch data. Ranking analysis, keyword volume, etc. are very useful data points that we get from Ahrefs.

The pricing of the tool is too high. The pricing is so high that not anyone and everyone can afford the tool.

Great possibilities to analyze the traffic on our homepage and wide functions to control the reachability of our posts. We manage here also our traffic for the advertising campaigns, and we can see which single page of our website has more or less views and interactions.

The automatically keyword reader gives us the recommendation to use this words and text for our content, however this information are not clear and doesn't bring us a higher performance.

Reaching faster and easier a higher rating on search engines - analyzing the incoming traffic and try to reach generally more people. We can spend less money for our marketing.

Ahrefs helps give a very large yet detailed picture of your SEO standing. From your backlink profile to your unique organic keywords, ahrefs tells you how you rank on your site for each keyword, and against the competition. Ahrefs is also one of our top tools for keyword research and competitive analysis. When thinking of how to describe ahrefs, an oil painting comes to mind - the more you look at it, the more you notice, and the more familiar you are with it the more information you are able to gather.

Ahrefs is a map to the future, because it’s not a direct representation of where you stand right now, but more a helpful tool to know where you’re going. The ability to look up competition in your industry by domain and explore their organic footprint in terms of keywords and links. Also the community on facebook is fantastic.

Ahrefs, IMO, is lightyears ahead of the competition. The main reason I like it is because you can take a deep dive into the top 3 competitors sites to get an idea of what it's going to take to rank.

Things I look at: How long is their content? How many other articles do they have on the same topic? How many / what types of links do they have? What other keywords are they ranking for? Which of their articles are performing well and which are not?

I'll usually spend 20 to 30 hours in a week doing this kind of research. then just use that to build out a content roadmap for my site for the next several weeks.

What I like the most about Ahrefs is that the team is really dedicated to improving the product. The Keywords Explorer was recently rebuilt from the ground up for the second time and came back bigger, better and stronger than any other keyword research tool out there.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

Ahrefs is great and all, but I don't think anyone should buy it until their site covers it's cost. To a newbie starting out, it's quite a monthly investment at 1200 USD/year it's a big ask, especially if you are a foreigner say living in india our east europe. If you CAN afford this, spend it on backlinks. Your return will be sooooo much greater for a new website. Besides, I honestly think that these keyword tools prevent you from intimiately knowing your niche actually hurt beginners who don't already know their niche inside and out.

Ahrefs has been a must have in my toolkit for many years. I find the interface very easy to use and not cluttered even though the tool has many features. 

It allows me to keep and store historic data on my clients and potential clients plus their competitors which is infinitely useful for the job i need to do and saves manual admin.

Another thing I like about Ahrefs is that it always feels fresh and new. I feel like they have their eye on the ball of the industry and are always one step ahead with new features and developments. This may sound geeky but one of the best things about getting a new tool is playing with all of the features and testing new insights. With ahrefs you get this time and time again as exciting new developments are always being added. 

It's also got its own metric for scoring the quality of sites and allows me to see links coming in and dropping off every day which helps with ensuring the health of my clients website.

The content gap analysis and rank trackers ensure that ahrefs is a great all-rounder to have in your toolkit and can provide far reaching benefits for multiple areas of an agency.

There are some features which I use less such as rank tracking as i dont think it's as good as the rank tracking tool I use. The content explorer is useful but it feels a little slow and i think there are other features which could be added to make my job easier such as google alerts and the social sharing aspect is often not accurate in its reporting. If i dig around on twitter i can find tweets about my articles which ahrefs hasn't picked up. 

The site explorer, while a useful tool, is a bit slow and cumbersome at times but it's not the reason why i use Ahrefs so i'm not particularly concerned by this at all.

Make sure you set up your profiles completely because there are a lot of benefits and features you could miss out on otherwise. Ahrefs is excellent for competitor analysis too so a great way to keep on top of what they are doing.

The problems i'm solving is that i couldn't quantify the work i'm doing for clients. I work in link acquisition and this tool allows me to tell clients where, when and how their backlinks have come about. The DR score also lets me inform clients that the work i have done for them is good quality and their website is safe. 

The benefits in terms of sales has been great too as I can quickly and confidently get a birds eye view of a websites link profile from ahrefs without having to do hours of pre-sales research when scoping out a potential new client.

The best thing about Ahrefs is the hawk-eye view of off-page SEO for any website. When you are using Ahrefs be rest assured that you do not miss even a single backlink that writes about you. The keyword research tool built by them helps you discover tons of keyword (long tail and high volumes both). We were trying to run ads for InVideo and thanks to Ahrefs " Keyword Explorer " that we were able to run ads to 5000+ keywords which were not used by our competitors

The only turn off for using this tool is the pricing. They charge you a bomb. The worst part is that they don't even give a free trial for the new use.

Ahrefs is the best and most complete tool for managing backlinks. It also offers good products for research, on-page, crawling and keyword research, in general, these products are not as strong as competitor offerings, but if you're main SEO interest is backlinks and you can only afford one product, this is the best one for you.

The site crawling tools are limited by pages, which means that for any larger website you would need a less limited crawler like ScreamingFrog or Sitebulb. The competitor research tools are good, but not as good as SEMRush. Sometimes can be buggy when dealing with large numbers of backlinks. The content research tools are not as good as Buzzsumo.

Overall the UI can use some work. It feels archaic in a way where tons of information is laid out in front of you excessively. It's hard to keep focus with the amount of data in one page.

- The Keywords Explorer is also a great feature, and being able to see individual keywords AND keyword groups makes the tool work really well with Google Search Console and Keyword Planner.
- The audits through Site Explorer unearths findings unlike any other tool available today - I've found the organic keywords and referring domains especially useful.

I've triet a lot of SEO tools, and Ahrefs consistently comes out on top. It's super easy to use, and the dashboard is the best I've used in terms of showing keyword difficulty, search volume, and suggested keywords. What makes Ahrefs stand out is the additional features. It gives you options to look at suggested keywords, search for content gaps, look at competitor content ranks and you can even do a site audit.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

The one drawback of Ahrefs is the price. The lowest priced package runs at $99 a month ($82 if you pay for the full year). You even have to pay for a trial just to test the product out! Okay, it's worth it. But it's definitely one of those tools you have to think hard about investing in because of the price tag.

Try all of the other tools like SEMRush and Moz so you can really get a feel for how easy Ahrefs is to use!

Ahrefs gives you a very quick, broad overview of your client's backlinks and a rough idea of what you are ranking for. This is great to use when you're first getting acquainted with a client, giving you an understanding of what link building or natural link building they were involved with in the past. I would really recommend this tool if you are looking to check your client daily, weekly or monthly to ensure their website is strong and won't get penalised by Google. It's very easy to use and the support is really good too.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

I wouldn't say that the keyword tool is the most accurate of the tools that I've used. They update the keywords quite sporadically, so you don't always know exactly what you're ranking for and where. I would recommend other keyword tracking tools that update daily so that you have an accurate understanding of your client's keywords. You can track keywords, but again, I feel that there are other tools that are better for this type of thing.

**Recommendations to others considering Ahrefs:**

I would say that this is a great tool if you're using it predominantly for backlink analysis. You should take some of the domain ratings and URL ratings with a pinch of salt, but for the most part, it's a really useful tool. I would also say that you should take advantage of the competitor analysis section of the tool, this really helps to see where your client is in the industry. This is a really good tool to pair with other tools that do further analysis of the technical SEO side of your website.

We're using Ahrefs predominantly for auditing our clients backlink profiles. Google are still penalising websites for their backlink profiles, so it's important to have an up to date view of what backlinks they have and where they're coming from. This is invaluable, especially with clients who have been penalised and if they don't know why. We can then put together a list of 'toxic' domains, and then put these into a disavow file to get them back to where they need to be.

I have used Ahrefs since I began SEO and can't imagine not using it.

It allows me to keep and store historic data on my clients, as well as their competitors which is so useful for my job and saves a lot of admin work.

It always feels very fresh and new and seems to keep up well with the ever-changing industry. 

Although I do not use it as often as I should, they have their own scoring metric for the quality of sites which can be very useful.

There are some features that I do not use such as the ranking tool, I do not find this to be as useful as other ranking software.

The price is quite out there for what the service offers, and depending on the plan, it limits the searches you can make which can be very difficult when there are multiple users on the tool.

Ahrefs works very well for the company I work for and their needs, but it does not necessarily mean that it will do the job for your company. I would do a few trial runs and work out the areas that it aids your business.

Ahrefs is everything you need to develop and execute an SEO strategy. It has the biggest database of links and the most intuitive, easy-to-use tools. It does everything, and does each thing better than any other tool. They also have excellent content that makes you better at using Ahrefs as well as better at SEO and content marketing.

They have commercial limits on searches for some of their tools. This wouldn't impact most people but for some projects I'm doing a ton of research and it means I have to split it up over a few days. Their agency plan has much higher limits but it's out of the price range for most people.

Now this is what you call a complete site analyzer, ahrefs has come on leaps and bounds the last few years, i was there at the very beginning, the speed in which their crawlers searches new targets is unbelievable, i have found many useful nuggets of information, as well as following their youtube channel, if you are serious about SEO you NEED ahrefs.

This is a small thing, but again it is the cost of their api, i very rarely log in to actual sites, i tend to write my own software or scripts in C# or Python the use the api to display what i need in an external website or software, they NEED to lower the api costs slightly, not everyone has the money for it.

Overall, this is a solid all-in-one SEO tool - if you know what you're doing. It has great web-crawling and site-crawling features. The link building seems to be their specialty, and tracking and monitoring backlinks is excellent with Ahrefs. It's an all-in-one solution, with plenty of tools for SEO work, eliminating the need for additional tools.

Price is definitely a deciding factor. It's just a little on the high side, as the "Lite" plan is fairly limited, and the next plan up is almost double the cost. There are certainly more affordable options out there, but you often get what you pay for with these things. 

Complexity is another factor as the number of features can be overwhelming at first. Ahrefs is great & powerful, but not always the easiest to understand. You have to know what you're doing to get real value.

Ahrefs is well-suited for anyone looking for a powerful all-in-one solution for their SEO needs, particularly if you come to them with some existing knowledge or expertise. They have great content to help teach users how to use their tools, but it isn't as simple or easy to use as some other SEO tools.
Ahrefs wouldn't be great for the overly conscious, or for people who are just getting started with SEO. There are other well-known players in the space that could better fill that role. I would say give it a shot for sure.

When we decided to focus our efforts around SEO, we explored several options for our SEO toolkit. Ahrefs continually came up as the best solution in a crowded market. We use it to track our SEO progress, plan content and keyword targeting, and to monitor backlinks to our site. It's our bag of tricks for making sure we're making good progress with our SEO efforts.

 The app is a complete package and all in all. It includes SEO based features with quick results. Users do not need to wait for a long period of time. The users also avail the facility of websites analysis and comparison. This comparison with the sites of the competitors help in making decisions for the businesses.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

 Although the app is a complete package but it is very much expensive. There are several apps of same nature that are helping the clients with very little cost. The price of the app should be decreased or some more features should be added to the app to make price reasonable.

**What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you need one SEO analysis tool then Ahtefs is the best choice. It includes all the relevant tools and features that are required while making an SEO based analysis. You can make complete keyword research via using keyword explorer. All the necessary works can be done via using this tool.

It has the freshest data of all tools I've used, this is key for finding trends in keywords to target.

**What do you dislike about Ahrefs?**

The Domain Rating feature miscalculates it's rating if a website has switched domains (even if the redirects have been implemented for all pages).

**Recommendations to others considering Ahrefs:**

Use the website audit tool, it picks up a lot of issues that other tools don't (surprisingly). Also, this is one of the best tools to get the freshest data available.

**What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ahrefs when I need data which is mainly dependant on time sensitive matters to help find trends in content and keywords.
