**Reviewed by:** Aratio J. | Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2024

I love how workmarket offers powerful features such as talent, onboarding, project management, and payment processing, all in one place. WorkMarket's flexibility and scalability make it suitable for businesses of any size and industry, enabling them to adapt to changing workforce demands seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

What I dislike about workmarket is the pricing depending on the business and also the features that come with it, it can be a little pricey if you want all the features.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like workmarket is working on making the software more accessible for users.

  ### 4. Good but isn't the most user-friendly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen T. | Learning Experience Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2024

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

I like how easy it is to update my personal information and change my withholdings on my W2.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

Good, but it isn't the most user-friendly.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep track of my 1099 earnings so I can submit my quarterly estimated taxes due.

  ### 5. Good platform but not necessarily the best value

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lam H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

Overall, it's a solid platform for handling independent contractors with decent features. Good customer service as well.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

It's not necessarily great value, as we (and probably most companies) can manage ICs without a standalone program.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing independent contractors

  ### 6. Best platform to find contract jobs and receive online payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

The best thing I like about the WorkMarket platform is its flawlessness, labour clouds option, ease of finding freelance works, reporting and the ease of getting in touch with vendors.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

There is nothing to dislike about the WorkMarket but the only thing I would suggest is to include more payment options such as Payoneer into it so that the payments will be transferred quickly.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been working on freelance projects on WorkMarket for two years. Through Work Market, I submitted applications for many jobs using labour clouds and worked on certain AI-based projects. WorkMarket was used for both the screening and the payment for these jobs. The payments were also processed precisely and accurately on Work Market.

  ### 7. WorkMarket

N/A

  ### 8. A great place to find Freelance Jobs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pyi Hein K. | Translator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2021

**Describe the project or task WorkMarket helped with:**

I worked on an image annotation project through Work Market. The project duration was about 4 months. We annotated the text in the images according to the guidelines provided by the client. The screening and payment process was done via Work Market. It was a pleasant experience. Work Market has different focus groups to help screen the potential freelancers. The payment was also accurate and timely.

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

Work Market offers several certification programs and tests to help clients screen potential freelancers. The certification programs also help freelancers in a way that they get to show proof of qualification on their profiles. In my opinion, this is a very convenient feature for the freelanc industry.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

Work Market's UI and menu items are a bit overwhelming for first-time users. The website appears to be crammed with information and I had difficulty navigating the site at first. The website's live chat is a little misleading as it is just a bot submitting tickets on behalf of the users.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, I have worked on a 4-month long image annotation project through Work Market. I have also received other freelance project invitations via Work Market. It is a great website for freelancers as no fees associated with the projects are charged towards freelancers.

  ### 9. Former WorkMarket User

  ### 10. ADP WorkMarket is an awesome resource!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Store Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

I can supplement my labor force and service clients who are outside my usual territory. It has offerings from most cities. Its been very instrumental in expanding business and growing our market.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

Not the best format for disputing anything incorrect, for instance, with closed work orders. That is my main concern and problem with the program; it's not easy or formal to dispute. Their mobile platform is not awesome; you can't view jobs and would need to use the full website. The platform would need to monitor that jobs are close in proximity and not too far away.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are that it's definitely an intuitive program and makes finding things very easy to effective. Very professional platform, i like that a job is complete and paid, transfer of fund is usually next business day.

  ### 11. Great Platform for HR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

I like that HR information (policies, documents) etc. can be posted in one place and that the payment information is interactive and graphic.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

The portal looks a little outdated in some places, like the resource pages. A little visual refresh to make the platform look more up-to-date would go a long way! Also, would be great if you can remember devices so that you do not need to do two-factor authentication every single time you need to log in.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One top shop for HR information and paperless pay stubs! Electronic is an excellent upgrade from our previous mailed pay stubs!

  ### 12. ADP for easy payroll processing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hina S. | Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

ADP is an amazing tool for the entire payroll processing, submission of the documents for tax, payslips, and other things can be done easily

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

It can be more user friendly as sometimes it's difficult to understand the software, rest of other things are helpful in the application

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ADP is a fantastic software for all the payroll needs, uploading and downloading for payslips, and the form 16 and other documents are excellent and very easy to use.

  ### 13. WorkMarket has become user friendly!

ADP is very easy for all of my employees to use. We have many employees who are from all walks of life, including from other countries and we have very few employee issues with the product.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

We had some difficulties transferring employees from the old system to ADP.

Workmart allows our employees to see everything they need to. It has eliminated many questions that HR has had to deal with in the past. It also has solved the issue of where our employees need to be stationed.

  ### 22. Best FMS Platform Out There Today!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devin W. | 𝗜𝗧 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

Managing contractors is a snap with labor clouds and tests. Managing staff is simple with highly customizable permissions. They offer many integration capabilities as well and can integrate into internal systems with their API. The quality of technicians is so much better than their competitors because it's tougher for technicians to become successful on Work Market (likely due to the implementation of tests, labor clouds, and vetting preferences). This means that if a tech is active, they likely take a lot of pride in the work they do and work hard to do a good job. You are able to engage contractors and contracting companies directly by having their contact info available, so quickly calling a contractor in a pinch is easy which means you don't have to throw emergency work orders out there and hope for a response. They have lower fees than other platforms, and if you're the kind that doesn't want to incur the cost, you can optionally pass the platform fee on to the contractor. They also have a blanket insurance policy at no additional cost, so you can be sure that the service provided is insured regardless of whether or not the contractor is insured (though many contractors carry their own policies as well). You can also use custom tags for easily searching for techs and adding notes to their profile. By far the best FMS on the market for quickly building support teams, managing independent workers and staff, and dispatching work orders for IT-related service!

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

They aren't as big as they should be. The platform adds an incredible amount of value to service companies, integrators, and solution providers, and I feel that more companies should be leveraging their highly-skilled field service engineers, technicians, and project managers.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Delivering high-quality IT service to the community. Finding and vetting quality technicians to provide support. Much easier to search for and find qualified technicians than other competitors.

  ### 23. Great Features_Few Buyers

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

More granular tracking of finances as well as backed by ADP.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

Slow payouts (7, 15, 30+ day payout options). Field Nation would pay out similarly, but it was based on when the company decided to approve the work order and then it would be processed. My workorders in WorkMarket get approved shortly after they're completed, but they sit 7+days (I still have one I'm waiting from the beginning of February that the buyer is given until March 19 to disburse/approve!). So, that sucks when compared to the platform I just switched from, but I know after a month or two I will get payouts almost all the time. Not for the faint of heart/just starting out with no savings/side gig to help pay the bills when these payouts don't come as scheduled.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkMarket:**

Have 30-90 days of living expenses set aside, if you have all of your tools already.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly, IT issues are solved when I show up for my work orders. I have realized the benefit and flexibility of working as 1099 with no mandated schedule. Additionally, I have utilized platforms like this, and plan to utilize this one as well, to hire my helpers, when needed. I hope to be able to do some GC type jobs as well.

  ### 24. Great Program for Side Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnissa B. | Director Of Information Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkMarket?**

I like that you and choose what jobs you want to do. It's flexible to your schedule. You can earn money doing side jobs.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

You receive the same job notices saying that it's still out there for grabs even after you rejected the job.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkMarket:**

Read the jobs completely before accepting them. Make sure you are able to get to the job and if you need to counter the offer, it's not discouraged. If you accept a job be sure to arrive to the job site on time and with the proper equipment to do the job. Always be professional at the job site.

**What problems is WorkMarket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's side work. I something that can help you build your experience. It's also a place where you can do small jobs for a fee on your time.

The ease of looking for nearby jobs with just a click on your phone.

**What do you dislike about WorkMarket?**

Hardware, troubleshooting. Quick way to get people to work on a job.

Benefits are clearly displayed on the website once you log in for easy access.
