Ads an early supporter of Active pieces i've seen them progress quickly. They have come out with many new features that are very exciting which should make them a major contender in the space. Outside of that their plan limits are very generous, especially if you just want to dip your toes and learn the platform before going all in. It's a very solid platform that doesn't have a huge learning curve, especially if you are somewhat familiar with other tools in the space. I wish there was a way to integrate front end stuff. When i say front end stuff i mean visual pieces, or ways to visualize data. I like its intuitive drag-and-drop workflow builder, which makes setting up automations very easy. The visual designer is approachable for beginners but looks to be powerful enough for advanced users. Lots of integration options, including popular apps (like Gmail, Slack, OpenAI) and the ability to do more advanced functions like branching and multi-step automations. When I first discovered ActivePieces, I was genuinely impressed by its ambition to make automation more accessible and its steady rollout of new features. What I dislike most about ActivePieces is their lack of follow-through on clear promises made to early supporters. The company pledged to always upgrade lifetime deal customers to the current equivalent of their “Pro” plan, but as soon as their business model shifted, they ignored this commitment. They also collapsed the value across paid tiers, making those who invested more receive no added benefit.

Attempts to address these concerns have been met with silence or even account shutdowns, instead of honest communication or fair solutions. This approach feels like bait and switch and shows a lack of respect for customer trust and loyalty. Simple, Intuitive and all-in-one. It has table for data storage, Ai agent, MCP as well. The number of pieces are growing really fast with the help of community. UI/UX is very simple and kinda grows on me. One big plus is recently they no longer limit tasks, so users wont need to be too concerned that their automation will stop working if the account goes over limit. It's been my hurdle for a while to get my calendars events in-sync across multiple accounts. I found some solutions but they took more time for me to make them work. With Activepieces, I can make the event sync work in just few steps and I can even customize the content in the destination to make it even more clear. Now my calendar is much more organized.

I have tried so many Zapier replacements, such as (Make, Latenode, Pabbly, tried them all). Activepieces has come a long way and they continue to surprise and update their software. It is very easy to integrate with apps, just like Zapier, and get them going. They do use different terminology, but just ask Claude or ChatGPT what they are and they will provide the answer. For example, Zapier uses filters, but Activepieces uses Routers (branches) and the left side is what you want and if the left side does not match, then on the right side nothing will happen.

--> Their pricing is AMAZING! You pay $1 for 1000 tasks. Zapier, Make and other companies definitely charge way more than this.

--> This is cheaper than n8n. I tried n8n and I needed to connect multiple Gmail accounts to one workflow; you cannot do this with n8n at this time. You can with Activepieces.

--> They have a free account with all features, no LIMITATIONS. You get 1000 free task.
