# Which procurement tools can show a measurable impact on spend visibility or approval time within the first few months of rollout?

Honestly the "felt improvement vs. actual number" thing is so real. We switched tools last year and everyone said approvals were faster but when we tried to pull a before/after report, we basically had nothing to compare against because we weren't tracking it properly before. If you're evaluating this stuff now, just make sure you're logging your current average approval time somewhere before you go live, even a rough spreadsheet. Otherwise you're flying blind when the CFO asks if it was worth it.
