We use this software to sign out rooms for programs, meetings, rentals, training, and lunch spaces. This ensures proper planning for big events and ensures we do not double book spaces. Once you have set up the requirements you want in your reports once it automatically remembers so it speeds up the process **What do you dislike about Accruent EMS?** They need to work out some errors. At times error messages occur when the planner sends the confirmation emails. If they don't re-add the item that the person originally requested the email shows up as an error. In addition of the staff side (the requester) it can be confusing to learn how to use it. It is not always clear why they have to click on certain tabs to complete a reservation. **Recommendations to others considering Accruent EMS:** Make a "how to" for your staff members who are using it. Explain to them the steps they need to take in order to complete a reservation. **What problems is Accruent EMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows staff members to see when specific rooms are available and allows people to request rooms so people are not showing up to use a specific room at the same time. It is also an easy way for them to request space without having to send emails back and forth. Finally it allows them to tell us then what they need for a meeting so we don't have to email them with as many questions. ### 40. It is definitely not easily read, even though it contains all the pertinent info. This is way better than the previous software the university used, but it definitely needs work. **What problems is Accruent EMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Super simple to log in and see what time and where classes are running each day.
