"Dynamic Development, Needs Consistent Communication"
What do you like best about Access LMS Evo?

I think one of the best things about Access LMS Evo is that it is always actively being developed. They're quite responsive now, much more than they used to be. The site is constantly being modernized and updated, which makes the look of the site much more modern and sleek than it used to be, and that definitely enhances the experience for the users. They're also working on making the learning easy to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access LMS Evo?

I think the only downfall at the moment in terms of Access LMS Evo is that there are elements of the system still in the old format. Some parts are in the new format. This interplay between new and old doesn't always work perfectly from an admin perspective and can be a bit confusing for the end user. They don't always communicate updates as well as they could. It feels like new stuff is pushed into production without us always knowing it's coming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Too Much AI, Not Enough of the Requested Features"
What do you like best about Access LMS Evo?

Now that I am familiar with the platform I find it relatively easy to navigate my way around and can perform my basic tasks (creating events, marking attendance, pulling reports etc) with confidence. I use Access constantly, every day so by immersion along I've got a good grip on the platform. I also think that our customer liaison, Rob, is excellent and has been a massive help since he started working with us last autumn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access LMS Evo?

My two primary issues are the incessant focus on shoehorning AI functions into every facet of the platform (including this text box, I see - do you want my feedback or do you want an aggregated version of what I'm saying?) while ignoring several functions that we have repeatedly requested on the ideas portal.

The reporting suite seems to have reasonable capability, but the descriptions when selecting the source dataset are oblique, and it takes a great deal of trial and error to get the exact thing you're looking for. Some elements, such as being able to report on all levels of an activity (course, event programme, event etc) on the same report are not possible and require workarounds, which is frustrating.

For my organization, which has a very heavy focus on face to face training, the events area is someone lacking as a planner for future events. We want to use the platform to plan and organize staff training, and with the stealth emails and underdeveloped events calendar, that is not a feasible solution at the moment.

The last of my major frustrations is the nature of archiving an account. There needs to be a freeze or suspend function so that if someone has to be temporarily removed from accessing their profile but that will likely be given access again, their training is returned to as it was before their account was suspended without having to manually re-enroll them on every single training. "Solid Course Catalogue and Easy Compliance Reporting in Access LMS"
What do you like best about Access LMS Evo?

The Access LMS has a solid catalogue of pre-existing courses and it is simple to implement additional courses for staff. Getting staff setup on the system and managing this is also an easy process. Reporting and tracking compliance is really effective and allows us to quickly produce reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access LMS Evo?

Not all of the pre-existing content is overly in-depth or useful. Some of the assessments have questions that staff have found confusing. Staff also tend to find the initial use of the system a bit confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clunky, Inconsistent Admin Tools Undermine Trust in the LMS"
What do you like best about Access LMS Evo?

Reports are very customisable and comprehensive; new user interface looks really good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access LMS Evo?

Admin interface still lacking, it hasn't been updated despite lots of fanfare about access evo; admin fuctions riddled with inconsistencies; lots of weird limitations; interface is clunky and dated; glitches and blocks have made staff lose faith with the LMS; troubleshooting with staff is a timesink; lots of courses available but some not sufficient for our needs despite us giving feebdack to the content team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Potentially Powerful, Hampered by Performance Issues"
What do you like best about Access LMS Evo?

I appreciate having everything in one place in terms of data with Access LMS Evo. I also like being able to create our own training, which allows us to create bespoke training depending on the needs of the people we support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access LMS Evo?

I find it very slow at loading, and sometimes the data isn't correct. There isn't much support from Access when things aren't working. The initial setup wasn't very easy, and there wasn't much support in setting it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Avoid - there are much better systems out there for the same price"
What do you like best about Access LMS Evo?

It ticks the box for law firms, but that's about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access LMS Evo?

- Clunky interface - our people really struggled to navigate it

- No customisability of courses and no ability to tailor courses to individuals, meaning repetitive content year on year

- Regular glitches with the system leaving our people infuriated that they couldn't complete mandatory modules

- Limited support from Access during the process

- High churn of customer support team, meaning generally quite low quality support

- Priced on par with much better solutions, so not even like you're getting value for money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
