Adding new learners or managing existing learners is very intuitive, which makes my workload a lot smoother. The help chat has answered my questions many times and is always available to suggest ways to solve issues. I also appreciated the very easy and intuitive initial setup with a walkthrough from my rep. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** I wish I could replace SCORM files with new versions instead of having to make a whole new course. Sometimes learners will find a typo or instructors will change content and I have to add a whole new course. This frustrates me a lot. Other LMS (Moodle, etc) allow you to write over existing SCORM files without making a new course. That way your learners' existing marks aren't segregated into a different course. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** SkyPrep provides an easily-managed way to present learning, evaluate learning retention, track learner achievements, and generate reports. It allows us to create eLearning withing the LMS instead of our old way of doing things because our LMS did not support content creation. While not perfect, it makes it easy to get metrics and reports and lets us see what content people are accessing and consuming. It provides insight into usage and gives us a chance to reach out and educate our customers. It's easy to figure out, and having access to customer care specialists when needed is a plus. Overall, SkyPrep has been a pretty great system for us. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** SkyPrep has a lot of features, but I'd still call it relatively no frills. The reporting features are great, but there are some aspects that make them very difficult. Some reporting features that I think would be common sense or simple are not present. The reporting could definitely be improved because sometimes it takes a long time to get information together, and I thought there would be a quicker way to generate or build reports. Additionally, it can be difficult to access certain types of information quickly, and the organization of information could be better. Navigation isn't great; sometimes when I change a setting, like making a course or learning path inactive, it takes me back to a different screen, which is annoying. Having to navigate back to where I was is a hassle. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use SkyPrep to create, house, and deploy documentation and courses for our internal staff and external clients. It is a handy tool that was simple to learn and allows us to manage an ever-growing and changing pool of workers whose jobs are seasonal, yet vital. I use it every day to manage the content we need to disseminate to our election workers. The information contained in our courses is subject to change biannually per legislation, as it did drastically this past summer, and I love that SkyPrep allows us to adjust and publish updated courses to over 7,000 users in a relatively short amount of time. I like most that the platform is continuously improving and makes it easy to capture the data we need to drive reporting and make decisions. Last of all, the customer service is amazing. The team is super responsive, and Catherine is great at what she does. She meets with me regularly to help with troubleshooting, plan for campaigns, and explore unused features (performance tracking, materials, etc.) for expanded effectiveness. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** The downside of using SkyPrep would be the sometimes awkward nature of the interface when it comes to the courses we put together. Finding a way to reduce the time it takes to create a full course would make the platform even more efficient and powerful. Also, we work with mostly older citizens who do not always grasp technology as easily. If there was a way to streamline certain data entry items to be more user-friendly (i.e., less clicks), that would be helpful to the end user. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** SkyPrep helps us to navigate the complex task of delivering content to thousands of learners with different backgrounds and learning styles. It is helping us to better gauge what is accurately comprehended by the workers we train, see how the concepts will be applied in the practice of running vote centers, and ascertain what needs to be monitored and/or retaught. Luckily, we have an account manager (Madison) who is very helpful and knowledgeable. While our unique requirements did require some specific adjustments, they were very eager to assist and made the process pretty seamless. Additionally, they provided us with video calls where they would walk me through certain settings and setup to make sure everything met our specific needs. I was able to upload a course, create quizzes and have it almost fully to our custom settings often times in under an hour! **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** They don't have 24 hour customer support which does make it a little harder if there is a tech issue after hours or on a holiday (they observe American & Canadian holidays which can lead to 4 days of no service after a weekend), BUT if there is a major system shutdown they will still be responsive, and luckily, we really don't have any system issues. I would just make sure to avoid timing your initial rollout over their holidays as support will be limited if you experience a learning curve. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We require an LMS system that is end user friendly, can segment our users into their corporate groups, allow administrative access for clients to monitor their progress and allow our end users after purchasing a package to onboard themselves. We have a very diverse workforce when it comes to age, and we've not had any issues with our employees navigating the system while completing any training. This is a huge bonus for us, as we moved our training to online and wanted everyone to be able to feel comfortable using the platform. We have also been able to streamline our training and development, and it has become very consistent across the board, especially for our new hires. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** The ILT function of the system does need some work, more specifically with the Microsoft Teams integration. Our company relies primarily on Teams for communication, and each time we try to hold a live training session, the connection between SkyPrep and Teams goes out. We are unsure if this is on SkyPrep's side or Microsoft's side, but something needs to be done to fix that integration. If you need to make even minor adjustments, you need to tediously dig through messy HTML, then save and reload to see if it worked. Rinse. Repeat. Once you have the content built, making small updates requires the same tedious process. SkyPrep's performance also leaves a lot to be desired. It's excruciatingly slow for even basic tasks, and they have seemingly no interest in improving performance. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** If you need a basic LMS tool, for minimal content, users, and learners - SkyPrep might meet your needs. Building courses and learning paths is multitudes more simple than any other LMS I have worked with. Also, the customer service and response time when we have a question is the best I have seen from an LMS provider in my 15+ years in the industry. For our learners it is just as simple. We have all external customers using the system, including about 20% international, who are not native English speakers so we needed an LMS that was as easy to use as "falling off a log". It has been just over a year since making the change to SkyPrep and we have no regrets. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** Our biggest delta is the user navigation is in two places. It is not a big problem and we do not get many calls on it but you navigate a course by either hitting a next button to the upper right or you can scroll down and click on the content. We would like to have one or the other, not both. For now we can not change that. Also the separators look good but do not work well in the mobile environment. If you click on one you get a grey screen and need to click again to move on. We wish the separators did not show that way. It sounds like they have an update coming soon that may address these but so far we have not seen that. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** If you are looking for an LMS that is easy to implement, build and maintain this is a good choice. If you are looking for an LMS the will reduce the number of support calls received this is a good choice. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to be able to host hundreds of courses, live webinars, and live instructor led training's per year to thousands of external customers around the world, and issue all of them continuing education certificates for those individual programs with just a handful of staff. Not all our staff had prior LMS or IT experience so we needed an LMS that could allow us to realize that goal without having to hire outside consultants to get us up and running. It had to be easy for our customers to use and easy for us to implement. The largest problem that has been realized because of using SkyPrep is being able to scale up our content without having to scale up the size of our team. If there is a video in the course you can customize/disable playback controls and safeguard how the employee navigates through the course. You can also enforce modular sequence within a course that requires some or all course elements to be completed before the employee can 'pass' the course, and so much more! **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** It's hard to nail down a dislike but I guess there is always room for improvement right? Depending on what type of report you are pulling, it could take quite some time. There are larger reports such as an All User report. This report contains all of the users in the platform (active/inactive/disabled) and what courses they were enrolled in along with completion statistics for courses completed. Due to the amount of information on this report, it can take some time to download. My favorite feature is the download functionality - some of our job sites are in remote locations where internet connections can be..."spotty" so having the ability to download inside the browser window is great - and through multi-tabbed browsers, you can pull up and download multiple courses ahead of time (for iPads, phones), plus an additional ability to download to the local computer (if using on a computer) is an added bonus. This allows users to pre-download content ahead of time before playing a video for a group of employees, taking a course by yourself, or getting on an airplane, etc. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** Like any new platform, there is a learning curve, but Skyprep has been unusually easy and intuitive to use. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** It's a great platform, there is nothing major that they are missing and improvements are constantly being made. Cloud-based is the way to go and Skyprep is leading the industry. It's almost the perfect LMS, and I know we are a tough customer since many of our locations operate so much differently with different customer requirements and remote locations where internet connections are spotty. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like I described above, we struggle with consistent internet connectivity. So the ability to DOWNLOAD is huge, but we also have solved reporting issues - made easy through the scheduled reports and ADVANCED REPORTING functions, MANAGER PERMISSION at local jobsites, so they just see their people, the RESOURCE CENTER is amazing by having they ability to upload documents available for anyone anytime. We also have many different types of employees - some are very computer savvy, and others are NOT, so having the simple clean user interface is helpful. Our goal thanks to Skyprep is to offer training for our employees - 1 - How they want it (iPad, Android or iPhone, Computer, kiosk, or as a group 2- When they want it (they can take courses when it's convenient for them and their supervisor - the courses are sitting in their "My Learning" ready for them whenever they are ready. Or Supervisors can play content for a group of employees when it's convenient at the jobsite (rain days, etc.). ### 49. We were able to upload content, enroll users, create groups, and understand how to generate reports, right out of the box. The intuitive UI is a model for other learning management systems. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** At this point SkyPrep has checked every box. I wouldn't want to be an LMS manager for any other system. This system is a huge win for our department, it gave us visibility I didn't expect within the organization. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** The amount of features relative to the price has been an easy sell to upper management. The ease-of-use enables this decision to get the attention of management because of all the deliverables: reporting, engagement, fast implementation, and results seen in process changes from the employees. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to roll out state mandated training for our industry and at the end of the deadline, report back to management that we have achieved 100% participation. This eliminates the need to outsource any of the process, keeping cost down.
