## Siteimprove Reviews
 ### 1. Solid SEO Tool for your daily Website Optimization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian S. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

The quick overview in the “SEO overview” tab helps me identify broken links, misspellings, and meta titles or meta descriptions that can be optimized. It’s very helpful and easy to use, and I end up using it every week.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The technical side of SEO, or website optimization, isn’t really relevant for me, since I mostly work on content rather than the backend.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optimize our existing website and the different types of content across our site and blog.

 ### 2. User-Friendly and Well-Supported, Needs Better Joomla Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I like how user-friendly Siteimprove is, making it easy for me to navigate and utilize the platform efficiently. The intuitiveness of the design and layout significantly enhances my productivity, allowing me to focus more on improving my company's website rather than struggling with the tool itself. Additionally, I find the quality of Siteimprove's support team commendable. Whenever I encounter any issues or have queries, their support staff is always responsive and helpful, ensuring my concerns are addressed promptly and satisfactorily. Their assistance provides me with confidence and assurance in using Siteimprove for various aspects such as accessibility, search engine optimization, and marketing solutions while meeting our quality standards.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

I am disappointed that Siteimprove does not integrate with Joomla as seamlessly as I'd like. While it integrates with some platforms, the lack of integration with Joomla specifically is a limitation for me. Additionally, I find the exporting data feature could be improved, as it sometimes produces PDFs that are not as optimized as they could be.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Siteimprove to enhance my company's website by solving accessibility issues, improving search engine optimization, offering marketing solutions, and ensuring quality standards are met.

 ### 3. Outdated, Buggy Interface with Poor Support

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonya L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Very little we barely use as it is more burdensome then helpful

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Siteimprove is a horrible archaic system with latency issues, and its content or SEO produces fewer results than Google or chat. Their leadership and illegal practices of holding you to auto-renew without notice or an easy way to end auto-renew should be investigated. Also, their instructions and customer service are horrible. Everything about it is problematic; the interface is difficult, buggy, and not intuitive. It's very outdated software with no roadmap to meet current standards. The initial setup was not easy, instructions were not helpful, and there was no customer service.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No benefit

 ### 4. Over a Decade of Reliable, Strategic, and Tactical Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina A. | Administrator, Website Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

We’ve been using this software daily for over 10 years, and it has consistently proven to be a cornerstone of our digital operations. From day one, it has provided the stability, flexibility, and depth we need to manage our web presence effectively.

On a tactical level, its tools for maintaining site integrity — such as identifying and fixing broken links, monitoring redirects, and flagging crawl errors — have saved our team countless hours. The automation of these everyday tasks ensures that small issues are caught early, long before they can impact user experience or search engine performance.

Just as critical is the built-in accessibility checking, which has become an essential part of our quality assurance process. Ensuring our digital content is accessible to all users is not just a legal or compliance requirement — it's a core part of our values. This software helps us proactively identify accessibility issues and address them efficiently, supporting a more inclusive and user-friendly experience across our platforms.

Beyond the day-to-day, the software has proven itself as a strategic asset. Its robust analytics, insightful reporting, and SEO optimization features help us make informed decisions that shape our long-term content and digital strategies. Whether we’re planning a new site architecture, auditing performance, or fine-tuning for search visibility, this software provides the data and clarity we need to move forward with confidence.

Another standout feature is the customer support. The team behind the software is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in user success. Whether it’s a technical glitch or a complex use case, their assistance is always timely and effective.

Over the years, the software has adapted to changes in technology, search engine algorithms, accessibility standards, and user expectations — without compromising performance. That kind of longevity and evolution speaks volumes.

In short: this is a product that delivers — tactically, strategically, and consistently. We rely on it daily, and it continues to exceed expectations.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

We do not have any complains regarding this product.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove helps us solve a wide range of both tactical and strategic challenges related to maintaining and improving our website. On a tactical level, it identifies and helps us fix broken links, monitor redirects, flag crawl errors, and ensure web accessibility — all of which are essential for delivering a seamless, inclusive user experience and staying compliant with accessibility standards.

Strategically, Siteimprove supports our SEO efforts, provides deep analytics, and offers actionable insights that guide content optimization and long-term planning. It allows us to make informed decisions that directly impact our digital performance and visibility.

The biggest benefit is that Siteimprove centralizes these functions into one reliable platform, saving our team time, improving collaboration, and ensuring we maintain a high standard of quality across our digital properties. After over a decade of daily use, it remains an indispensable tool in our workflow.

 ### 5. One-stop optimization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

The new republish check is a game changer, it allows the author to fix anything before it goes live. Same for code checker, which allows for development goes before going live. A one two punch that has helped us enormously

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

I like the new AI integrations but I almost wish they would do a beta version before releasing so features are more fully baked (thinking of AI alt text)

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteImprve helps us as an organization get compliant with North America accessibility laws and regulations, and generally improve our customer journey.

**Reviewed by:** Anna M. | Head of Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

This tool has become my daily companion for identifying and monitoring quality improvements. It consistently helps me stay on top of progress and ensures that I can track enhancements effectively.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The review leans more towards technical aspects rather than offering practical content suggestions.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers effective link integrity management and maintains an up-to-date index of all items, making it easy to locate information through the use of Policies. It also provides monitoring of accessibility levels.

 ### 7. Great asset for small marketing teams

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

No - very happy with the tool and service

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove allows me to gain better understanding of the performance of my website.

It allows me to pull campaign reports - which I would not be able to build myself on other platforms.

Weekly QA reports allows me to run a clean, bug less website.

 ### 8. Helps stay on top of site health and optimization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

SiteImprove has been essential on ensuring the health of our websites. It's easy to find errors and issues on the site, and this tool does that the best.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

As a content strategist, I find myself leaning toward other tools for keyword research, discovery, trends and user behaviour.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking keywords, site health and optimization solved by SiteImprove. It helps that all of this is in one place and is easy to access.

 ### 9. Powerful Reporting and Accessibility, But Steep Learning Curve for New Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas M. | Support and Training Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

the report UI is really robust. You can gather any data you are searching for relating to your websites. The focus on accessibility is also a welcomed feature.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

You really need training to be able to navigate and run reports. New users will have a learning curve when attempting to dive head in to the dashboard.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can see the accessibility percentages of our webpages. We can also run reports to search for keywords when reviewing pages in depth.

 ### 10. 10+ years of excellent service in web accessibility monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary R. | Senior Information Technology Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Siteimprove is a complete solution for web accessibility, quality assurance, governance and analytics reporting and monitoring that we, at the University of Ottawa, have been using for over 10 years now. We appreciate how reliable the platform has been, how easy it is to use and manage it (both from an end-user perspective and administrative perspective), how feature-full it is and how it includes modules/plugins/integrations for common CMS platforms and other tools, and how responsive Siteimprove's support and success managers have been.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

There's nothing that we particularly dislike. Some concerns over time have been (1) the overall cost of the solution, (2) the sometimes significant discrepancies between Siteimprove Analytics and Google Analytics numbers (e.g. even the realtime numbers are very different), and (3) the SEO add-ons that are desirable but difficult to justify purchasing from an educational budget standpoint.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the University, the primary problem that Siteimprove solves for us is accessibility monitoring and reporting, as we have to be compliant with WCAG 2.x AA levels. Secondary things that Siteimprove helps with are content quality tracking (e.g. language level reporting, broken link reporting, misspellings, etc.), governance/policy tools to help find keywords or elements across the site, and a convenient analytics tool that is easy to setup for end users. So overall, these help ensure that the University is compliant with local laws and that it provides the best quality service to its public (visitors, students, professors and staff) who access the website.

 ### 11. A robust toolkit for conquering digital barriers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesco G. | Ufficio Progettazione Web, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Automated Testing: Siteimprove automatically crawls your website to identify accessibility issues across a large number of pages, saving you time and effort.
WCAG Compliance: It tests your site against international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards, ensuring you're on the right track for inclusivity.
Prioritization: Siteimprove helps you prioritize accessibility issues based on severity and ease of fixing, making remediation efforts more efficient.
PDF Accessibility: It also checks the accessibility of PDFs associated with your website, which is often overlooked.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Not a Silver Bullet: While Siteimprove automates a lot, manual review by human experts is still crucial to catch nuanced accessibility issues.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Semantic Coding: Siteimprove can flag errors in your website's code that could create barriers for users with disabilities. For instance, incorrect heading structures or missing form labels can make it difficult for screen readers to navigate the site. Siteimprove helps ensure your code is semantically correct and conveys the structure of your content clearly.

 ### 12. A Review of Siteimprove

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier S. | Social Media Content Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

The behavior tracking feature is particularly helpful for understanding how visitors interact with content and making data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience. It was a key element that helped me map our web lead-to-revenue journey.

Siteimprove's heat mapping feature is another valuable tool. It visually represents where users are clicking, scrolling, and focusing on a webpage. By analyzing heatmaps, I can identify areas of a webpage that need improvement or optimization to enhance user experience and drive conversions.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

It lacks a deeper level of data granularity and customization options; it could benefit from having a wider range of metrics.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove has made it easier for us to comply with international data regulations. Moreover, it helps us identify web pages that need advanced optimizaion for search. Most importantly, it's helping us identify the web journeys of individual prospects who submit contact forms via the website, helping us to report on web-generated revenue.

 ### 13. Siteimprove has everything I need and more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | User Researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

SiteImprove is great providing my team a great starting point to review our domain. Tackling accessibility issues, or finding content really is a breeze. The interface is designed with simplicity in mind. All areas of the site can be easily shared which makes it that much easier to work with stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

It would be great if I could export this data into LookerStudio or similar tools which utilise Google Analytics. I currently have to manage this through Excel.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps our team tackle, spot and fix accessibility at root causes. Being able to manage these according to WCAG guidelines is perfect and the tool makes us aware of which team is likely able to fix the issue. With a changing world, tackling language and terminology is a typical task. Being able to find words and terminology across our domain is an impossible task made possible with Site Improve.

 ### 14. Could not do without

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peer Manley R. | Senior advisor, Digital Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Managing a multitude of pages and sites we depend on a system that ensures both content and technicalities to be up to date. I love the dashboards and functionality giving us the full picture and speed.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The license model might scare potensial customers. You really need to involve many employees to get the max out of it.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A large number of people publishing articles and content often show little understanding for traffic. When we present the real numbers the discussion tends to be more down to earth and realistic. We let the numbers speak for them selves. For many its an eye opener.

 ### 15. Essential tool for improving accessibility and web quality.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanny T. | Instructional Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

As an instructional designer focused on digital accessibility, I appreciate how Siteimprove helps us identify accessibility errors and content quality issues across our webpages. the accessibility reports are clear, visual, and easy to understand, even for users without technical backgrounds. I also love the dashboard that shows progress over time and support compliance with WCAG standards. It's a valuable tool for ongoing monitoring and training across campus departments.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

First of all, it was a big confuse to install it via google chrome.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to improve our webpage and allow more users to access it.

 ### 16. Great for global Quality Checks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I love how easy it is to make global checks (rather than page-by-page) for spelling errors, broken links, and other quality control issues. We have found nothing else that works as well as this for quickly and easily checking for these issues and resolving them. I also love that SiteImprove is very fast to respond to any questions.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Every now and then, we'll get a false positive - a report that something is broken when it's not, but these are pretty easy to mark as "ignore." For the most part, the interface is very nice, but there are a few areas where it looks like an older version of the software didn't get the facelift that the rest of it got. These things are so insignificant though, that they are hardly worth mentioning.

**Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:**

I recommend SiteImprove, especially for websites with multiple users. It meets a need that no other product has been able to offer.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have hundreds of publishers across multiple departments and with SiteImprove we can quickly and easily resolve broken links, misspelled words, and event inconsistent formatting of things like phone numbers, and dates and times. We are also trying to be more systematic about resolving accessibility issues and hope that SiteImprove will help us there.

 ### 17. Siteimprove has everything you need and more

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Siteimprove is full of super useful tools such as Behavior Tracking, which translates a ton of data into digestible information. The Siteimprove interface is clean and well organized. The technical support team is helpful. Smaller cookies also means a benefit to my users.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

There are so many similarly named tools and sections of the platform, I notice my teams clicking around the navigation trying to find the application they want.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove helps me perform everything from basic site Q&A (i.e., misspellings, broken links) to analyzing user behavior (i.e., user journeys, behavior tracking). Having all of this information and tools to solve the day's problems in a single place is extremely helpful.

 ### 18. Great product to keep track of site quality and accessibility!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lainie S. | Web Accessibility Specialist/Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

The ability to see right where the errors are located within your content.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

As a subscription admin, I wish there was an easy way to get site-wide statistics on all my sites. Some data I can get this information, some I cannot.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping an overall pulse on our accessibility and getting rid of unecessary spelling errors and other quality issues.

 ### 19. Great tool that has become critical to our workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

We love the ability to generate policies. We also use the broken links and misspellings feature weekly. We're diving more into the accessibility side of things and SiteImprove has been a resource for us there as well. Additionally, I've appreciated SiteImprove's customer support. They generally respond in a timely manner with good solutions.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

I'd like to be able to permanently remove some status codes from the broken links report. It would be nice if the system recognized proper pronouns in the misspellings report. I'd like a little more documentation/examples on using the advanced policy features.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding issues on our site. When we need to make site-wide changes to, say, a product name, SiteImprove is the first place we go to find all instances of that name.

 ### 20. A Must-Have Tool for Website Quality and Accessibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

SiteImprove has been a valuable tool for managing and improving my library’s website. It helps me quickly identify issues with accessibility, broken links, and readability. The reports are easy to understand, and the suggestions are clear and helpful.

I especially like how I can filter pages and focus on specific areas of the site. This makes it easier to keep everything accurate and up to date. SiteImprove gives me confidence that our site is user-friendly and accessible to all.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The reports are helpful, but they can be a little overwhelming, it is taking some time to figure out which issues to focus on and how to best interpret all the data. But I'd rather have more than less.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SEO and accessibility

 ### 21. Siteimprove provides an easy platform to quickly identify & resolve problems on your site.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Manager, Online Programs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Easy to use interface, flexibility of dashboard views, and realistic scoring scenarios.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The 'site scan' process, which takes days to complete, seems too long.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Siteimprove for the obvious QA benefits, but we also depend on it for the Digital certainty index and helping us identify and resolve UX and accessibility issues.

 ### 22. A must have!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay G. | Website Coordinator, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I use siteimprove primarily for quality assurance. Its perfect for finding spelling errors and broken links. I also cant go a week without using the policy feature. It's incredibly helpful when looking for content or phrases.

Also, they have very helpful email support

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Can take a long time to crawl the site if its a large site.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cant speak high enough on Policy. We are constantly updating our side, and the policy ensures we dont miss anything.

 ### 23. Excellent user-friendly tool for site analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Really nice easy to use dashboard, it's like a much more user-friendly web analytic tool with some added features. It's perfect for marketers to gain good oversight on their website and understand site traffic and engagement. You can assess your site for SEO, Accessibility, QA (broken links, spelling errors etc) and other ranking factors.

There's some really nice user behaviour features like heat mapping, user journeys, funnel analysis. You can even set performance KPIs on campaigns. There's lots of good features and SiteImprove are continually adding new stuff and enhancements which is great.

I really recommend it for people that don't need the complexity of GA4 (or want to learn it), or for digital marketers to use it in tandem with GA4.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

It would be good to have the ability to dig down a little deeper or have more filters available to create custom report similar to GA4. But not a huge deal as it work nicely in tandem with GA4.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring website performance

 ### 24. Easily find patterns throughout your website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago F. | Software Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Siteimprove has helped me improve the quality of my website. I really like the "Policy" tool as it makes it easy to identify patterns within the site. For example: I want to know which pages are using a certain CSS class, with Siteimprove I can have an accurate report and execute action plans to improve those. Patterns are very versatile, they can be links in the page, HTML tags, CSS classes, content page and much more.
Customer service is always very attentive to help, giving a quick and effective response.
We've been working on improving the accessibility of the site lately. It's very useful how siteimprove provides accessibility metrics and suggests code improvements.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

In the last year we had a bug in the crawler, which was fixed after a few business days. It would be great to prevent this kind of bugs in the tracker to ensure more availability in the service.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove is solving the problem by identifying which pages need an update, either to improve a page, to correct an old link or to improve its performance. Also, it gives a complete overview of accesibility errors and brings a possible solution.

 ### 25. I didn't find any issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bindu Madhuri J. | Graduate Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Siteimprove offers a user-friendly and comprehensive platform that brings together accessibility, SEO, analytics, and content quality in one place. Its intuitive dashboards and actionable insights help teams ensure compliance, enhance user experience, and maintain consistent website performance—all without needing deep technical expertise.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

While Siteimprove is a powerful tool, some users may find that the platform’s learning curve can be steep initially, especially for those unfamiliar with digital accessibility standards. Additionally, the cost can be a barrier for smaller organizations looking for similar functionality on a tighter budget.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To update Broken links

 ### 26. Easier & inclusive user experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin F. | Supervisor of Web Search & Platforms, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I like that the QA & accessibility issues are all in one place and the platform highlights the issues so it's easy to locate in the CMS. I also like that it's easy to export the list of issues to share with our external team members.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The inability to ignore an accessiblity issue to improve the accessibility score. Some of the tasks, we are unable to fix.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is improving our user experience and accessibility of our site. Previously, we would have no idea if a broken link was affecting more than 1,000 webpages on our site. Now, we are immediately made aware of a quality assurance issue. We are also more mindful of the accessibility of our site, and our site is more inclusive to all users using our website.

 ### 27. Great dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha P. | Web Content Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I check the dashboard proactively every day for misspellings and broken links. I also receive automated emails that easily show me when new issues occur so I can fix them on the fly. Love Siteimprove.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piers J. | Lead Developer & Digital Producer, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Siteimprove is amazing, it constantly evolve as the industry changes and standards improve, and continues to let me see at a glance where any QA or accessibility issues are, we are now on the cusp of full AAA compliance, years ahead of planning.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

If I'm in a group rahter than the whole site, desktop and mobile speed aren't shown, and those seem to be under reporting compared to Pagespeed, which it uses. I get 67 and 94 in Pagespeed but Siteimprove grumpily announces 34 and 66.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a mechanism to quickly and easily find issues with a huge corporate website, and Siteimprove delivered that and much more. I finally have colleagues onboard and excited about accessibility.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2025

We have been using Siteimprove to monitor and maintain our accessibility goals and targets across our digital properties. Throughout the past year, we have been actively using the Accessibility feature on a regular basis to identify area of opportunities to be WCAG compliant through site crawls.

In addition, we have used the SEO Audit and assigning relevant courses on Frontier to our team to upskill, which have easy to set up and implement as well!

Whenever I needed support or have any questions with using the tool, the Customer Support team have always been prompt and willing to help.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Navigating through parts of the side menu can be challenging at first and not as intuitive (e.g. to manage individual sites vs general settings).

Providing another layer of reporting to help improve on our digital accessibility compliance.

 ### 33. Detailed, actionable information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It's automating about 70% of our accessibility testing, and allowing us to pass on work via jira tickets where changes need to be made.

 ### 34. Fantastic tool for all your web analytics and SEO needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon B. | Digital and Website Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

 ### 36. Great SEO Tool for Website Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I really like how you can easily create policies for your unique needs - it allows for great website content management.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

I would like to see more intuitive graphs of how keyword rankings change over time. It would be nice to see how your keywords change rankings within an activity plan rather than having to click into each one to see this - could be nice to categorize keywords in activity plans to narrow it down to this or at least have an exportable version of month by month data of keyword rankings.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to improve content quality by fixing the flagged broken links, keyword activity plans, etc. We also have been using it to improve accessibility on our site.

 ### 37. A Quality Tool With Insightful Data

There is not a lot to dislike, to be honest! With the recent changes to the crawlers, some of our pages that contain query parameters now negatively impact our score, which is challening to overcome.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove is our first line of defense for reviewing, diagnosing, and solving problems that impact our users. It's insightful tools provide clear indications on how we can improve our site, as well as areas that are already meeting WCAG and SEO best practices and guidelines. **Reviewed by:** Brianna G. | SEO Content Writer & Blog Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

It's great that it has QA and accessibility in addition to SEO. This won't totally replace your current SEO tools, but it's an important indicator of site performance and goes a long way in assisting with strategy.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Would be helpful to have more customization options.

Our site's accessibility and SEO scores have improved drastically since starting to use SI. And with a major site transition last year, it's been hugely beneficial in tracking performance and spotting problem areas.

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

The really helpful support team that is always happy to jump on a call to do extra training and answer questions via email

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Less a dislike and more a wish – I'd love to be able to run ads (Meta and Google) directly through the platform so that it was a one stop shop

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us find broken links and fix accessibility issues

 ### 42. Siteimprove -- The Best Safety Net Available

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorcas C. | Web Content Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

I appreciate that running my pages throught Siteimprove gives me an added layer of confidence that they will be error-free.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

False-negatives. Sometimes Siteimprove is a bit wonky and will report back broken links that aren't broken. If I run the check again, those types of errors usually drop off.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My primary use for Siteimprove is to ensure pages I publish are going out erro-free.

 ### 43. My Siteimprove experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Siteimprove is easy to use and provides quatitative results to measure SEO and quality of our webpages. My favorite features are the broken link finder and misspellings. Customer support is also very quick at responding when additional support is needed.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

The only downside is the time it takes to crawl all of our sites since we have many pages.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteimprove finds any broken links, misspellings, and provides overall quality summary results. We have used the suggestions of shortening sentences, and rewording paragraphs to meet overall user preferences and satisfaction.

 ### 44. Siteimprove gives insightful information for our website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chenyue G. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

SI is a one-stop shop. “Policy” and “Accessibility” are the two modules that we currently do not have alternatives in other tools.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Expensive. SI can be expensive compare with other tools that we have.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SI every other week to check scores, work on broken links, and check accessibility issues. Otherwise, use SI on a request basis.

 ### 45. Siteimprove changed the way we manage our website

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad M. | Senior Web Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

The best thing about Siteimprove is it's ease of use and how well in integrates in our site and work priorities. Whether you are in it daily or only have time to check it once a month, it's intuitive enough that you know what improvements you can make to get the biggest impact.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Not all the features are relevant to government/public sector, especially in analytics, as we don't have lots of KPIs to track compared to something like an e-commerce site.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being the largest public-facing communication tool for the City and County of Denver, it's very important that our content is up to date, relevant, and perhaps most importantly accessible to all. Given that we are tasked to do a lot with a small team, Siteimprove helps us focus our efforts, spot trends both good and bad across the site, and quickly address major accessibility and content issues. The ability to give these same tools to our agency authors and empower them helps tremendously to keep our workload down and our website quality up.

 ### 46. Great for accessibility scans and broken links

**Reviewed by:** Giovanna S. | Digital Marketing Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Having a dedicated account representative that either gets the answers to our questions quickly, or connects us to the qualified resource to address our needs. It's more like a partnership.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Some reporting and policy customization still needs to be done through the technical support team like using Regex in policy rules. But they are quick to provide the service and thoughtful on how they solve your reporting needs. Would also like more fields in LookerStudio connector.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteImprove makes it easy for us to identify and prioritize accessibility and quality issues on our many, many sites.

 ### 50. Measure and Fix in one tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Siteimprove?**

Helps me keep track of how the web and copywriting teams are performing, both in content creation and CMS / SEO optimisation.

**What do you dislike about Siteimprove?**

Very complex, steep learning curve, feels like we might not be taking full advantage of its suite of features.

**What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us an external validation of the excellence of our website, and a way to track / ensure that we are maintaining best practices and the highest standards.
We are starting to use it more to track user behaviour on the site, integrating that with nascent digital marketing activities including paid SM and Google Ad campaigns.
