The product continues to evolve and while not all new features directly benefit us, we have observed improvements in the product and support teams during this time. We switched to ShipHawk primarily due to limitations with accurately rating LTL shipments on our previous platform. Smart Packing has worked very well for us; if there is an issue with the package(s) ShipHawk suggests, it is almost always due to an oversight with the dimension info in our catalog. The rules engine provides for an easy way to customize rates and services to your specific needs. When issues pop up, support works with us to correct both the affected records and also provides a long-term solution so we don't experience the same issue twice. Audit is very easy to set up and helps recover funds you may not otherwise have the time/staff to investigate, this was a good value add by ShipHawk. **What do you dislike about ShipHawk?** Support for multi-location fulfillment needs more work to be fully functional. Orders sometimes silently fail to sync to ShipHawk from our website. This has happened a few times for various reasons, but never the same reason twice and it is corrected. ShipHawk could be more tightly integrated with our website for supporting features like BOPIS and having alternate order update transactional emails for pickups vs. shipments. **What problems is ShipHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?** ShipHawk provides accurate real-time rate shopping which then carries over to the order during fulfillment. The rules engine allows us to customize our services exactly how we need them to be presented to the end user. We can fulfill orders both via ShipHawk and externally using our carrier accounts. Their integration with our website makes for a mostly seamless connection for real-time updates to the customer and our order processing. ### 4. Their system would work great for a small period of time, but it breaks frequently. **What do you dislike about ShipHawk?** Everything. Honestly the system lacks a lot. I wrote my previous reivew in a Beta environment. ShipHawk is not built to support medium to large businesses. They do not do the standard functions necessary for wholesale and distribution. Their system does not actively sync with NetSuite. Their employees are extremely pigeonholed in what they know how to do. They only know TMS and have a handful that can work on the WMS, and if something really breaks, you are paying for it out of pocket to get their engineering team involved. **What problems is ShipHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not much ### 5. Training new employees is very quick and easy. We rarely have issues, but when we do their support is very quick to respond and resolve. Implementing the WMS sped up our pick/pack/ship process and increase our inventory accuracy. We've been able to make adjustments to what makes sense for our business, which has saved us a lot of time and effort. Use them to build your requirements for their system and compare them to the rest during your due diligence process. Ease of use of the product was key. Bringing a new approach into a fast-paced manufacturing environment is never easy. The product had to be easy to navigate and troubleshoot problems in processing in order to keep productivity up. **What do you dislike about ShipHawk?** From a WMS perspective, the user interface could be a bit more modern. Some of the features we use and enjoy are as follows. 1.) Ease of use. Smart packing is highly recommended. Once properly set up ShipHawk is very easy for the average warehouse worker to understand and use efficiently. 2.) Highly configurable rules engine. ShipHawk can accommodate almost any shipping policy into to easy to use rule sets that can be configured easily. 3.) Customer support is top-notch. I can stand behind the support that ShipHawk offers its customer base. They have always been available for us when issues arise and I enjoy working with their support team. 4.) Integrates well with Netsuite and implementation with ShipHawk onboarding team was very professional. After initial setup of the system, Shiphawk now populates order weights within a 1/4 of a pound, eliminating the need to weigh each order. We basically just verify the ship-to address, click and ship. The system is easy to learn, very user friendly. Anyone can figure out how to use Shiphawk. **What do you dislike about ShipHawk?** For a while, every 3 months or so, the system would go down briefly, requiring us to manually ship orders using FedEx's ship station portal. It seems like the frequency of these outages has been decreasing, however. Leadership has been very receptive to our feedback on this issue. **What problems is ShipHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shiphawk allows us the flexibility to configure the product the way we need it to work. We have specific needs around master packs, lithium batteries and up front rating. But overall, the software is a great automation solution. We have run into a few settings that are only available on the backend, so having more visibility to those settings would be my only request. **Recommendations to others considering ShipHawk:** Customer support is what truly separates ShipHawk from the others. Adding their bundle to NS made implementing fairly easy. **What do you dislike about ShipHawk?** Like all software, they've had some hiccups, but they've worked through them. This software is definitely better year over year. A couple of years ago, I felt like they struggled to stay on top of fixes, improvements, and customer satisfaction, but they've done some reorganizing and are greatly improved.
