I mostly use Polly as a respondent. Our team sends polls and quick check-ins through Slack, and replying only takes a few seconds. The poll appears right in the channel or in a DM; I just click an option and I’m done—no need to open a link or sign in to another tool. Because it’s so low-effort, I actually respond instead of putting it off, and I think that’s true for most of the team as well. Overall it feels lightweight: it doesn’t clutter the channel or interrupt the conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since I’m only on the answering side, I don’t have much to complain about overall. That said, the reminders can feel a bit repetitive when I haven’t responded yet, and it isn’t always clear to me whether my answer is anonymous. I’d also like an easier way to view the results after voting; depending on how the poll is set up, I don’t always get to see what the rest of the team said.
