**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

The main reason for this review is to praise the PCRecruiter tech support team for their consistently exceptional service.  I've been using PCRecruiter as an agency recruiter as well as a two-time agency owner/partner.  Since I started working with Main Sequence and PCRecruiter back in 2005, the tech support that I've received has always been prompt, courteous, on-point, and exceeded all expectation.  EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.  That's saying somthing!!!  I'm also an "old" computer user, "Hi, I'm Sean, and I'm a PC." if you remember those commercials on TV.  I've describe PCRecruiter this way, to quote the great American poet, Han Solo, "...she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid."  PCRecruiter may have a LINUX/UNIX/DOS look to it, but it is amazingly powerful and completely customizable.  ***** Five stars - highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I don't like about PCRecruiter.  Maybe some improvements or upgrades that include an easier to use dashboard function where reports and analytics could be displayed for client meetings and presentations.  Having said that, I sincerely feel like PCRecruiter and Main Sequence are always investing in the platform; making tweaks and improvements to increase the ease and functionality of the software not to mention full blown software version editions/upgrades.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PCRecruiter has been my only ATS/CRM since starting recruiting with Management Recruiters back in 2005.  I've tried several other recruiting software platforms over the years but have always come back to PCRecruiter.  There aren't any specific "problems" that PCRecruiter is solving for me as PCRecruiter IS my platform and drives my entire recruiting business.  The new Sequencing application in the PCRecruiter platform is a significant boom to my business and has streamlined and organized many of my recursive communication tasks.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

We recently had a technical issue with our website that was preventing our job board from displaying properly. Andrew Rothman from PC Recruiter went above and beyond to help us resolve it.

When we first mentioned the problem, Andrew promptly offered a potential solution and advice on how to address it. But he didn’t stop there—he followed up within a week to check if the issue was resolved. When he found out it was still ongoing, he encouraged us to hop on a call with him to work through the problem together.

What truly stood out was his dedication. Most other companies or individuals wouldn’t have followed up like that, especially since this issue wasn’t even caused by PC Recruiter—it stemmed from our website.

The support from Andrew, and everyone we’ve worked with at PC Recruiter, has been incredible. Their commitment to their clients, combined with their excellent products and continuous improvements to their software, makes them a standout company. Highly recommend!

I really can't think of anything.  I know they are working on adding more AI features, which will be great.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

PCRecruiter is a leader in the recruiting and staffing software industry. It is by far the best recruiting software on the market because it is designed by a team that has deep roots in the recruiting and staffing world AND they listen to their users! The product is extremely well supported and continues to get better based upon feedback from top recruiter and staffing industry experts. It is a solid product that can be customized to integrate into and enhance exisiting processes, improve productivity, and provide a great experience for applicants, candidates, internal/external hiring managers, client companies, and users. For third party recruiters and staffing agencies it allows you to seamlessly intergrate business development processes with the delivery of recruiting processes and services.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

The only downside (if you can call it that) is that PCRecruiter is a serious tool with tremendous capabilities, which means it does require a bit of planning and forethought to get the most out of the product. However the relatively small learning curve is off-set by the benfits of having a solid, dependable, and robust tool.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PCRecruiter has significantly streamlined our candidate/applicant funnel which has allowed us to manage a greater number of ongoing requisitions without sacrficing quality. We also benefit from a centralized CRM that makes business development and client management much easier since all the relevent information, contact names, companies, positions, applicants, and notes are all easily accessable in a coherent manner.

I've been a customer of PCR since they started and would never change. The people there are super responsive and their tech support is top-notch. PCR is constantly being improved based on user feedback. I have sent ideas to PCR and have had them show up in new releases. Love that!!!

Great question, but there is nothing that I dislike about PCR. I would be lost without it.

When I started with PCR, we were on a paper system (yes...many moons ago...) and were overwhelmed. With PCR, I can find and communicate with everyone I need. I also use PCR for Bulk Emails which I have done for years and that is a key ingredient to our marketing which has been very successful.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

It is built with a recruiter in mind, it uses Roll-Ups to keep all your candidates, companies and positions in check. The Rollup Stages (Lifeblood) are customizable and automated, they have sequencing which is new and takes away you having to think and finally they have the analytics/metrics which when running teams are vital. 
They have PCR Capture which makes adding candidates from LinkedIn very easy.,

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

The sequencing  part which is the text messaging only really works through RingCentral.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They allow us to keep detailed records of our process across multiple recruiters. It is accessible online from anywhere.

As a user, I loved that it kept a great history of all the things connected to a name and client. Also, think it was pretty easy to learn and customize to how I wanted to view things.
Now as an admin, it has some great automations we can set up to make reporting (mostly done by me) and user lives easier.

Excellent support / customer service.

Wish it was a little easier to integrate / had some other automations. 
This may be more a user training thing but wish is was better at noticing potential duplicates so fewer got made.

It's easy to start using this software and integrate it into my work processes. Training support was excellent, thorough and I was able to modify features to meet my needs.

I liked that we could send emails from the tool updating candidates on their status in the interview process.

Not intuitive to use. There was not a whole lot that we could use the tool for outside of having candidates apply and tracking applications for OFCCP compliance. The look of the tool seemed very dated.

Portal for candidates to apply for our jobs. A way to track candidates and pull reports for OFCCP compliance.

I think the staff have been very helpful, I also like the outlook and LinkedIn intergration. I love how easy it is to add candidates to an assignment as well. I remember with my old database you had to add each independently to an assignment.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

I really wish you could just write an email without having to do a form letter. For example, if you want to update the candidates on the status of a job, especilly if the client hasn't come back on the CVs yet or something. Then you have to email each candidate separately or create a form letter every time, but the reasons are always different. It would be great to click on multiple people in an assignment and just send an email. I could do this on my old database.

PCR is a great tool for getting all of your contacts in one place. This is a problem that we were looking to solve for and PCR has been great for this.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

The email marketing capability is extremely baseline. We'd love to be able to use PCR for more than plain text emails and roll-ups.

PCR helps us to have all candidates in one place. It's been helpful for having all applicants from job postings drop into the system instead of our recruiters having to go through several platforms to find what they're looking for.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

PCRecruiter is user-friendly.  I'm not a strong technology person, but I've easily navigated through companies, contacts, and job orders using the software.  I can easily keep track of follow-up calls and candidates in the hiring process.  In addition, the tech support has been great with quick questions and general training.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

The downside of PCRecruiter is not knowing all the capabilities.  I learn more each time I come across a question or issue to work through.  It would be helpful to see more 2-minute trainings.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The new email campaign analytics process has been invaluable.  Seeing who has opened and clicked through the content I send has been powerful.  It helps me to make better business decision on what to share with my clients/candidates to add value.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

A quality that I appreciate is that I can manage a vast database and all the info we can have on the people or company. Also, the add-on for chrome is excellent.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

My team and I have been discussing that we can't undo things on PCR. It's a common subject between us. Sometimes we mess up, and because we don't have an undo option, we have to do many other steps to fix what we just did. Sometimes it is not fixable. 

Another thing is that when people are selected, and we change stages, they keep selected, and we need to deselect them. For us, that's a step we would like to skip because sometimes we are working so fast that we don't realize people are still selected and select more and change them to another stage that we didn't want to.

Adding duplicates when adding people with the Interseller add-on is another thing we dislike because then we have to find duplicate people or companies, which takes time.

PCRecruiter is helping us to save time by capturing people from LinkedIn and Xing websites. We are more productive because of that, and our business has increased.

Regarding the 'undo', nearly everything in PCRecruiter that changes or is deleted goes 'somewhere'... either into the change log or into the recycle bin, so it's almost always possible to reverse something unintentional. We also have a 'read-only backup' of the previous day's database online in many cases. But an 'instant undo' sort of feature might be handy - post that in our features and ideas forum on the helpdesk. It may gain some traction!

My team and I really enjoy how user-friendly PCR is and how much it helps us stay organized. We also love how much time PCR helps us save by allowing us to quickly parse and capture candidates into the database.

My team and I have been using PCR for a few months now and do not have any complaints whatsoever. PCR allows us to everything that we need to and more! I don't have any suggestions on improvements at this time.

PCR allows us to save time and stay organized when sourcing candidates. Whether it's parsing or capturing a candidate, or just saving someone to a rollup to contact at a later time-- both are extremely helpful to us and our business needs.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

The people offering tech support and other services make the product much more attractive. I've been using them since 2001, and they've grown exponentially in that time but never lost sight of the actual target, and that is the customer.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

Any time you are editing documents resumes, etc. there are minimal font choices, and trying to get it to function like a word processor is impossible.  Putting together an email signature with tables so you can have a logo is problematic.
I've learned that sometimes it's best to edit the docs you want to before you put them into the system and your expectations won't be so high when it comes to formatting it. I wish there were easier ways to print specific information on Candidates and Clients. That said, it appears they might be working with that with some of the newer capabilities. I wish using capture was easier and didn't create duplicates every time. They need a better way to eliminate duplicates because the information you can view when attempting to make the important decisions about which is the master file or is there is 4 different individuals with the same name.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have improved so many areas that it's hard to say. I love the Pipeline feature along with the automation. I haven't been able to take full advantage of those features, but that's my fault. PCRecruiter techs are always creating videos to help us learn how to use certain features. I like and appreciate that because I don't always have time for them to have someone stop and train me during the days of the week. It's too distracting to go that route but I can take 2 minutes for 2-minute Tuesdays and other videos that are instructional have helped me. If I have a problem these guys are on it. I can't have a smaller company like I do and not depend on a company taking their own sweet time to repair or straighten out a problem. I need my people concentrating on the task at hand and with their support we do.

In regards to document editing, PCR's editor (TinyMCE, an industry standard) is specifically made for HTML/web/email, and is intentionally limited to the 'web safe' fonts that are known to be available on all operating systems. You can, as you noted, copy and paste content in from other sources, although your results may be unpredictable. We may be altering that editor in a future version to provide more flexibility. If you're working with actual documents (Word, for example) PCR opens the file in your local editing software.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

PC Recruiter has been an effective tool for our recruiting and staffing business.  We have been using PC Recruiter since 2008.  During that time PC Recruiter has continually evolved to meet changing business needs and incorporate capabilities from partner companies (linkedIn, Facebook, Job Boards, etc.).  We have had 100+ contractors at a given time - we've taken full advantage of the contract module for assignment creation, time card collection, and approval from client/employers.  We have seen the need for improvement over the years, but PC Recruiter has listened to and responded to many of our requests for improvement. The support staff at PCR is top notch. They don't always have answers for us, but they always try and are usually very quick to get back to us.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

The development cycle has been slow for new products, but I think that they genuinely want to get it right.  There is an integration with Quickbooks for billing that doesn't fit our business model, so I wish that there was more ability to customize that process so we could take better advantage of that product.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A key necessity in our business is transparency between different recruiters and divisions throughout our organization. PCR's ability to integrate with Outlook and capture e-mails automatically has enabled everyone to see the conversations that are taking place with candidates and clients, allowing us to work better together.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

I have been a recruiter for over 15 years. I have used several ATS throughout my career, none of which have been as complete as PCRecruiter. From its configuration to interface, which has improved exponentially over the years, PCRecruiter allows the team to organize candidate and client information in a very user-friendly way. I have used it for 10 years and am still learning from its many uses. I always recommend it to my clients for their HR department. I also recommend constant training, since new options are added often.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

I wish I could capture people from other databases besides Linkedin, such as Xing. Also I would like to quickly modify what information I capture. Another thing my whole team would love is to have a warning pop up when setting stages to multiple records on rollups.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I loved the new option of sharing profiles amongst the team. I always wanted that option to easily share information without using a third-party messaging system.

Sometimes getting PCR to work with an integrated system, such as CallLogic, can be a little difficult. Trying to understand the API component can be very confusing.

The layout is intuitive.  It is easy to learn how the information is arranged and be able to find what you need.  The search options are abundant and helpful.  The system processes very quickly and gives quality feedback on queries.  PCRecruiter makes my job so much easier.  The support team is also proactive with questions or concerns.

Our system is self-hosted.  If I had the choice, I would let PCR take care of the technical side.

PCR has good integrations with our other software tools. RingCentral, LinkedIn, zoominfo.  I also like that recently they have started to add additional functionality.   I am working on a BETA team where they are introducing a Sequencing program.

Search could be made easier if they could work to enable some semantic search.  The look of the software could also be refreshed.   I hope that's coming in the PCR 10 release.

Works well for integrated  teams.  Keeps us from bumping into each other when recruiting and also keeps teams in multiple locations tied together.

Integrations and transparencies, with PC recruiter you have the ability to easily and affordably connect to so many things. The workflow are easy to develop and the company has been around a long time and understand recruiters.

The appearance has so much to be desired, it appears to be tailored to an older client base, but has so many features its hard to pick a lane. the company doesn't seem to extrude flashy appearance.

I can easily track a huge number of candidates and easily contact them.  There are many automation tools built in taht make the user experience more efficient.  If you will have the discipline to enter your candiadte and company data, this tool will enable you to do what you are best at and not have to run around looking for paperwork.  I have earned great money as a result of the efficiencies this system have enabled me to have.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

I have used PCRecruiter since its inception over 20 years ago.  I honestly have no real complaints.  Sure, I have some minor suggestions from time to time and often learn the feature I want is built in already.  They even have live and easy to reach technical support.  Who does that any more?   And when you contact support, you will get a very knowledgeable person.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't function effectively trying to keep all my candidates in my head.  I have close to 20,000 contacts yet can easily find the people I need with simple queries.  A phone call or text is a simple click of an icon.  Emailing is a snap using templates.  The pluses go on and on.

It has best collaborative tools that helps in team engagement during interview process. Flexibility and ease of use has boosted our performance and selection of the best minds. PCRecruiter has the capability to advertise new roles across our social media platforms.

There has been great development of new team recruitment since we deployed this product. I have not experienced any negative performance from operation of this tool.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

Far and away the thing that separates PCR from the other ATS vendors is the service.  The tech team answer the phone quickly, know the product cold and are able to help solve problems or issues, usually in just a couple of minutes.

The other good thing is that they don't complicate their solution- all this is complex enough as is.  They keep the system easy to use and easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

The user interface could always be better and more modern.  It would be nice to see a graphical representation of status of candidates in the work flow of the interview process as well.  Otherwise, the functionality is as good or better than most other systems.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the system for the purpose of which it was designed- track our candidates, track our process, manage our clients and their search progress.

The best thing about using PCR is the way it integrates with outlook and Quickbooks and linkedin. Makes it easy to get to everything all in one place. I love the way you can utilize the boolean search to search keywords on resume or notes to make sure you are getting accurate results.

The constant updates cause a lot of slowdown on occasion. It would be a lot better if that didn't happen but is understndable. The capture tool could also use some tweaking when it comes to title and linking to companies in the database.

I would recommend this product to anybody. I love the option to use it on the cloud. It is awesome to recruit from anywhere!

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

PCR can be as basic or as involved as the user wants or needs it to be.   All the different functions make it an all-inclusive ATS.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

Some of the help topics in the PCR Learning Center need to be updated or reviewed for correctness.  The training hours in the beginning were difficult, too.  Just because I had never used it and there is so much to learn.  Maybe the training hours could be spread out over 2-3 months so they could be more tailored to problems the user comes across as they learn to use PCR.  Our trainer was amazing and very thorough and allowed us to ask questions.  It wasn't that he didn't do a wonderful job.   I look at it kind of like teaching somone to drive a car when they had never driven one before.  Going over the basics of the gas pedal, the brake, and the steering wheel doesn't really teach the person to drive the car until they really get behind the wheel and learn to do it.

**Recommendations to others considering PCRecruiter:**

PCRecruiter does everything you would need it to do.  If you aren't familiar with applicant tracking systems, the learning curve is pretty high.  There is a lot to learn.  The Learning Center is a great tool.  And when you have questions, PCRecruiter Support is a tremendous help.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can do everything in PCR and not have to rely on Excel spreadsheets or other programs to keep our business clients, applicants, etc.  It is all integrated.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

I am impressed with the ease of use and over all functionality of the platform.  It servers multiple purposes and has a robust menu of options.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

At times navigating back to the home page can be a bit confusing, especially when you have multiple windows open.  I find this to be a minor inconvenience however.

**Recommendations to others considering PCRecruiter:**

I would highly recommend this as an option. I received a great many positive endorsements from other users when I was considering purchasing myself.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving a single source solution for my candidate tracking as well as my client management.  Great integration between job orders and linked candidates.  I am beginning to learn more about the email marketing and email integration capabilities as well.

The resume parsing feature is fantastic as well.

**What do you like best about PCRecruiter?**

Once I got the hang of it, I found it quite easy to use. I would say it is a good option for organizations looking for an all-encompassing Applicant Tracking System and recruitment software.

**What do you dislike about PCRecruiter?**

I dislike that it can be finicky. For example, when deleting Companies you have to save each employee individually or it will delete everything. I also found the saving process to be quite tedious.

**What problems is PCRecruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A great option for an Applicant Tracking System, it has its quirks but I would say it is good for a relatively newer organization. The process to transfer over companies and people's profiles to another system may be tricky though.
