They clarify my minor questions and ensure I'm able to create the draw request I need with their guidance. I have been able to utilize many features and customize the draws to our preferences. The QuickBooks integration has been straightforward as well; if there are any errors, I can quickly chat with the support team for an almost instant fix and reconnection of accounts. **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** There are some features that I have not had the time to dive into learning about, like the Project Sources. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us assign and organize our invoices and create official draw requests for each period. ### 2. Though it's still hard to track contract balances against quickbooks payments even though this IS synced. The issue here I think arrose from onboarding the project several years after inception. ### 5. Also, there is no option for users to include multiple updates to specific invoices with an import file (i.e., we do updates going into each invoice). **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** Preparing loan draws outside of Northspyre used to take a day or two. Now it takes a couple of hours. Thus, it has made our team more efficient. Also, workflows eliminated our need to obtain approvals through email threads. ### 7. Tasks & Milestones could be much more dynamic as well (email alerts, reminders, etc). The Sources & Uses function/tool can also be more integrated and flow through better. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving the invoice approval workflow and making that more efficient. Invoice tracking is better and makes draw requests easier and more efficient. Also, reporting (generating reports for budgets, payments, etc) is fast and easier. ### 13. With its intuitive interface, it's easy to make common revisions such as budget line re-classes and instantly update real-time progress. The draw reports are customizable and professional looking. **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** Looking forward to the addition of a payment module that will allow check processing. Though not a must-have, the Yardi integration for budget and updates would be a good feature. **Recommendations to others considering Northspyre:** Request a Northspyre demo or try it out for a month and see if it improves the speed and quality of your project management operations. We have found for ourselves that it dramatically enhances ours. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data entry and coding of invoices, contracts, COIs & lien waivers is now quick and easy. Eliminates progress tracking with several spreadsheets as all project information is accessible and transparent to all users and owners in real-time. Payable budget line re-classes that used to be a tedious task is now possible within seconds. ### 15. It is very easy to identify categories that are over budget and see where open dollars are to move it to. **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** The report functions are not formatted well and always coming out super small. If you want to print anything is has to be on 11x17 paper or zoom in heavily. Also some features that were conveyed to us are still under development. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** There is less back and forth between our accounting dept and development. The development team can quickly pull reports without accounting and identity issues without waiting for the monthly accounting meeting. ### 16. The ability to see your projects in real time has been something everyone in our organization has found very helpful. We can login and know where we are without a lot of leg work. As long as the data entered is accurate we have accurate project updates **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** Learning the program took some getting used to and not aspects of the program are intuitive. Changing out documents is likely the most cumbersome issue. However, we are still very satisfied with the program **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a centralized hub for our invoices that different members of our organization can access is very helpful. We don't have to reach out only to accounting to find out if an invoice is in the system or where it was coded to or if it was processed. It has helped members of our team be more self-sufficient in locating data. ### 17. I also like the summaries and the ability to stack reports in the rpeort builder. **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** The amount of manual labor needed to keep everything up to date. The system is a bit slow to work and each project is separate so the isn't a global structure for total cost reporting. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping us maintain stronger visibility on budgets and costs as well as helping us identify any duplicate cost. It has eliminated the need for a heavy excel spreadsheet. **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** Since it is a fairly new company there may be some bugs but there are new updates every month or so that fix the bugs and include new features. I would like the cashflow feature to improve, maybe a recalculation button or seeing projections off months rather than days. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has eliminated the use of tracking budgets in excel, less chance of human errors. The few suggestions I had about NorthSpyre was already previously submitted through a feedback they were doing. Such as some other functions and features they could add on top of what they already had. **What problems is Northspyre solving and how is that benefiting you?** NorthSpyre is consolidating all of the project costs and budgets and placing them in one area where reports can be pulled easily to see the overview of the project. ### 21. I'm able to do an entire draw in under 15 minutes including emailing it to the partner. I'm very happy with the software. **What do you dislike about Northspyre?** The amount of time it takes to keep everything up to date. There are some bugs in the software and occasionally I'm not able to view invoices in the browser from the invoice data index.
