Kanban has potential also, you can have cover picture, it shows if there is any subtask on it, and progressbars. And basic budgeting feature is also available. You can see easily easily what was estimated and what the real cost is which is important! **What do you dislike about Instagantt?** To be fair there are a couple changes that I would like to see, before I become a paying customer. Startable Time Tracking clock is a huge missing feature. Could be an option for bigger font sizes, as well, because everything feels so little, I have to resize the whole page to atleast +125% to be okay with it, but truly between +125-150% would be the best. I have to click a lot.. With the sideopening windows, I can not close them with a keyboardshortcut, I have to either click on X or Click somewhere else, which can be tedious. I don't like that when I set Statuses and accidently I make +1 I can not move to trash them, they are not disappearing, only "archives them" with a crossed line. In table view if there is a task with 2 asignees then the pictures are weirdle on top of each other instead of side by side. It would be lovely to have more customisable colors, maybe a colorwheel option but more colors to statuses and task colors. Also there is one thing that I find weirdly implemented the Milestone feature. If i make a Milestone, it appears on kanban view like a task. I have a workaround that I created a status for milestones that it does not "interfere" with my doable tasks, but I think there could be a better option. And please add a Dark mode I was searching for it like crazy!!! **What problems is Instagantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's easy to plan a project, but really important that I can reschedule it very easily with the gantt options and with the multi select feature. There are a lot of Project Management softwares that looks really nice but rescheduling is where a lot of them fails. ### 2. But the form requires to put the minimum 17 characters, so here you go :D **What problems is Instagantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** Firstly, it helps me to manage dependencies between the tasks, i.e. I can see which task is holding another one and then another one, so basically it helps me to unravel the tangle of all the tasks my teams has and thus set priorities to successfully complete the project on time. Secondly, it helps to synchronise with Asana, which is another feature we love as we have been using both Asana+Instagantt that successfully complete each other. Finally, it helps me to create simple but yet very clear reports of the progress of the project. ### 3. I've used a lot of different online project management tools and found that Instagantt stays true to how traditional project management works. Other tools have really frustrated me when all I need is an online Gantt chart that I can easily share with my team and Instagantt does just that. **What do you dislike about Instagantt?** Like all project planning systems, the screen real estate is generally overwhelmed with options so if you don;t switch off what you don;t need to see then it quickly gets cluttered and a little confusing **Recommendations to others considering Instagantt:** You can't go wrong by giving Instagantt a try. The user interface is intuitive and laid out the way I work. It is easy to create dependencies among tasks. A tasks can have multiple dependencies. The package computes the critical path. I can track costs. Costs are summed at all levels. Tasks can be grouped into sections. Tasks can be converted into milestones and vice-versa. Multiple people can collaboratively work on projects. The impact of workload is shown by person across time. It is easy to move tasks around to different parents and sections. **What do you dislike about Instagantt?** I would like the ability to add custom fields. Hyperlinks can be added into descriptions but they are not active hyperlinks. They must be copied and pasted into the browser. The descriptions cannot be formatted. **Recommendations to others considering Instagantt:** The best way to select a package is to use it for several days. The key selling points for Instagantt were the user interface, workflow, ability to handle costs, automatic scheduling of dependent tasks, and computation of critical path. Critical path keeps you focused on what is important. **What problems is Instagantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** I need a single place to store all my projects and tasks, current and backlog. Instagantt works well, It is full featured and lightweight enough to use as my primary place to store information. They are wonderful at responding to suggestions and accepting your feedback **What do you dislike about Instagantt?** There are a couple of things that I'd like to see updated within the next few iterations of the software that would really set it apart from others. First, I'd like to see recurring tasks. With much that I do, tasks are repetitive weekly things, and being able to set those to repeat would be fantastic. Second, I'd like for any tasks that are not due for a given number of days (user setting) not to appear on the Gantt chart or in the task list to help reduce clutter. Third, the ability to resort Projects would be fantastic. Fourth, I'd like to be able to move tasks between projects and even between Workbooks. And finally, it woudl be great to create custom folders to see multiple projects of your choosing within the folder you create. There is currently an 'All Projects' folder, but you cannot customize which projects you see in this folder. **Recommendations to others considering Instagantt:** I'd try it out...it works great for most of our needs and the development team at Instagantt is very responsive to suggestions, so I feel that they will continue to improve the product to meet our needs. **What problems is Instagantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to see work tasks across my team is extremely beneficial. It serves as a form of 'visual' communication for the team. With this totally online software, you register with your Asana account and your projects and tasks are automatically synchronized. Instagantt allows me to follow the daily work of each project assigning the dates and those responsible for each of them. The ease to change the dates in the calendar is very comfortable and I can also manage each term very quietly. I like how I can drag and drop the tasks, besides the color coding is very valuable to organize the stages in each project. **What do you dislike about Instagantt?** Maybe I would like a way to prioritize tasks. And it would be good to have a system of alerts that can be customizable and determine the types of notifications and to whom these alerts are sent. **Recommendations to others considering Instagantt:** Instagantt offers competitive prices on your application, it pays to pay for your subscription. I recommend any person or project department that uses Instagantt and will not be disappointed. Thanks to this application we improve the productivity and efficiency in each section of the project, since we can preview in your diagrams the expectation of time that is expected before executing the project.
