## Grammarly Reviews
 ### 1. Grammarly is like having a calm, brilliant editor by your side — always

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arindam R. | Oracle IT Business Analyst III, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I love most about Grammarly is that it doesn’t just fix my writing — it elevates it. Whether I’m drafting professional emails, writing presentations, or journaling personal reflections, Grammarly acts like a thoughtful second brain. It catches not only grammar issues but also helps with tone, clarity, and flow — almost like it understands the intention behind my words. The real-time suggestions feel intuitive, non-intrusive, and often open my eyes to better ways of expressing myself. It’s confidence-boosting without being robotic — and in today’s fast-paced world, that’s rare.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While Grammarly is incredible, there are moments when its tone suggestions can feel a bit too safe or overly formal, especially in more creative or emotionally expressive writing. At times, I wish it could better distinguish between artistic nuance and actual grammatical issues — but then again, no tool can fully replace the human voice. Still, these are minor trade-offs for what is overall a beautifully designed and highly useful platform.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves a problem I didn’t even realize was slowing me down — the mental clutter of second-guessing every sentence I write. Whether it’s an important client email or a quick internal note, it helps me write clearly, confidently, and with the tone I actually intend. It also helps reduce misunderstandings, especially in remote work settings where so much relies on written communication. For someone who juggles multiple tasks, Grammarly acts as a silent partner ensuring my message is not just correct, but effective — and that’s a game-changer.

 ### 2. Instant Grammar and Punctuation Alerts Before You Hit Send

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** toni a. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is that it instantly notifies me of any punctuation and grammar mistakes before I submit emails or reports.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

What I like least about Grammarly is that it flags names—whether business or personal—so I have to constantly bypass the alerts.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me address common writing issues like grammar mistakes, spelling errors, and unclear wording. It also improves the tone and overall professionalism of my emails and documents. For me, this means I spend less time proofreading while still making sure my communication is clear, polished, and professional before I send messages or share documents. It also gives me more confidence that what I write is accurate and easy for others to understand.

 ### 3. A Must-Have Tool for Professional Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bảo Ngọc N. | I am working as a buyer in a local food and beverage manufacture., Food & Beverages, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I usually use Grammarly for writing reports, emails, and checking grammar for important messages sent to our partners. This app makes my writing more professional and helps avoid misunderstandings in crucial conversations. I love that it's free and gives me a helping hand in daily tasks. It's a useful app, especially for business. I think it's easy to use with a friendly platform, so we do not spend too much time looking for tools. The initial setup was easy, as I just use the web version, log in with my email, and start working without needing to install any software.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I suspect about the accuracy of Grammarly's editing. Honestly, I also use some other apps to cross-check. However, English is my second language, and I'm not really good at writing skills to determine if it's right or wrong.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly makes my writing more professional and prevents misunderstandings in crucial conversations. It's a free, useful app that helps with daily tasks.

 ### 4. Help for small businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy S. | Publications Editor, Publishing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I appreciate that they're trying to update Grammarly and make it better at catching complex errors and using industry jargon.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I still have an occasional suggestion that, if followed to the letter, is also flagged by Grammarly (telling me I should revert back to what I first wrote). The advantage is that I can send this to Grammarly in the hopes that they can use it to prevent such confusing feedback in the future.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work as an editor and content creator for a small nonprofit, and I can't always find people to look over everything I write or edit. Grammarly helps provide a second set of eyes, particularly to miss those little errors you sometimes miss in the material you create--like missing words or letters.

**Official Response from Yana M:**

> Hi Tim,

Thank you for sharing your insightful feedback with us! We're glad to hear that Grammarly helps you review your writing.

While we do offer a personal dictionary feature, it only helps to prevent specific spellings from being flagged as incorrect: https://gram.ly/cbbHWbj. We appreciate your suggestion and will be sure to share this request with our team.

Also, if you find cases where Grammarly provides suggestions in error, please feel free to share them with us via https://gram.ly/47tlPic so that our team can take a closer look.

Thanks again,
Grammarly Support team

 ### 5. Essential Writing Assistant for All Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dotty S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly integrates with all of my different writing platforms. I use WordPress, and it integrates right into their editor. I use GoHigh Level, and it integrates into their editor. I also use Word and Google Docs, and it integrates nicely into those as well.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly randomly logs me out, and I don't realize it's not working. Also, I haven't quite figured out why, but sometimes it will underline words in various colors so I can easily fix them in the text. Other times, it doesn't do the underlining thing and instead puts everything into a little icon on the side, which is not as easy to work with.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly catches all types of typos, fixes punctuation, and rewrites my sentences to avoid passive voice, which is helpful for my dyslexia.

 ### 6. Easy to Use but Needs Refinements

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it gets caught up in a loop where it makes a suggestion, I fix it, and then it makes a suggestion to change it back to the old thing, and it just goes back and forth without deciding what it wants to do.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me present myself better in various communication efforts, whether formal or informal. It's easy to use, accurate in correcting my language, and shows errors and suggestions quickly, helping me articulate ideas despite not being the best at it.

 ### 7. Fast, Seamless Grammarly Integration for Clear, Concise Writing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is a quick, easy integration that I use to keep my writing clear and concise when communicating with internal stakeholders and external partners. The pricing seems like a reasonable ask for the performance I get. It’s fast to suggest and apply changes, and the onboarding process was seamless.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes currently gives me suggestions that I don't approve but it's relatively easy to revert back to the writing that I had originally.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned before, it’s really quick. It instantly analyzes my writing in Gmail, helping with all my email communications, Slack messages, and anything else I write on other third-party websites. It then lets me refine what I’ve written based on my specific writing needs for that particular project.

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly has genuinely transformed the way I write. Whether I'm drafting a professional email, working on a report, or even just sending a message, it catches mistakes I'd never notice on my own, like misplaced commas, awkward phrasing, and even subtle tone issues.

The setup is generally very simple and user-friendly, and it starts working automatically with minimal configuration. It provides a big help for us in our daily chat conversations with customers.

Some suggestions can be overly aggressive, occasionally changing sentences that were already clear or correct in context. This sometimes requires reviewing and rejecting suggestions to keep the original meaning. Sometimes the tool suggests rewriting sentences that are already correct, especially in casual chats, technical discussions, or when using industry-specific terms. Improving how it recognizes conversational tone and abbreviations.

Grammarly is an advance platform that has a simple user interface and it mainly corrects different type of paragraphs while writing English contents. This is a platform that checks grammatical and algorithm errors along with tone, style and context of the sentences that we write online for our professional business usage

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One and only disadvantage of grammarly is that the platform make sure that the content is correct but for involving creative emotions in the paragraphs grammarly starts showing limitations. It has flat tone and styles and you will have to do manual editing if you want to show some extreme emotion in the context of the contents.

**Reviewed by:** Numan R. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I have been using Grammarly since 2018 for writing emails and texting clients, and it helps me to connect with them more confidently as my native language is Urdu. ### 17. Real-Time Correction Boosts Professional Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshit V. | Media Activation Manager ( Paid Search & Social), Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I primarily use Grammarly for everyday professional communication and content polishing. Its real-time feature gives suggestions to improve my tone and correct mistakes, which is a big time saver for me. Instead of writing the complete email or client communication and then correcting it later, this feature allows me to correct and rephrase things while I am in the moment. This immediate feedback helps me correct the email then and there, making my process more efficient. I also appreciate Grammarly's role in helping me create a professional tone, which is critical in maintaining a good client/stakeholder partnership. Finally, the initial setup of Grammarly was super easy for a newbie.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

A main issue is the limitation with understanding context or industry-specific terms, like campaign jargon or performance marketing language. Grammarly sometimes misinterprets these phrases and gives irrelevant suggestions. For example, it treats standard industry terms like CTR, CPC, and CVR as general writing terms and flags them unnecessarily or suggests changes that don't really make sense.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly overlooks small mistakes in my fast-paced marketing role, saving time and ensuring a professional tone. Its real-time suggestions improve drafts instantly, avoiding the need for later corrections and enhancing written communication with clients.

I really value Grammarly's real-time grammar and spell check for its accuracy and immediate feedback, which helps catch typos, spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors as I write. I appreciate the tone detection and adjustment feature because it helps align my writing with the intended audience, whether for professional, casual, or academic contexts. The tool's ability to work across various platforms, including web browsers, desktop apps, and Microsoft Word, makes it incredibly versatile and easy to implement in my daily workflows.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I feel Grammarly should be more functional. There should be new features, better integration with other apps, or improved accuracy. I would like Grammarly to integrate with a wider range of productivity and creative tools, like project management software such as Asana or Trello, and design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Additionally, I think more advanced AI-powered suggestions for tone and style adaptation, especially for different audiences and platforms, would be beneficial. A more robust collaboration mode, similar to Google Docs, where multiple users can edit and review documents simultaneously, would also be a great improvement.

Sometimes, when I ask for a friendly rephrasing, it comes back with a totally opposite meaning. For instance, if I wrote a sentence as 'I am NOT happy with the results.' and it comes back with 'I am happy with the final option.' something like this.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps with grammar checks and suggests writing styles for different purposes. It's superb at catching spelling and punctuation errors and offers options to rephrase text in various tones like friendly or improved versions.

 ### 24. Enhances Professional Communication, Minor Notification Irritation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Halyna K. | Manager of Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love that as I finish writing a sentence, Grammarly suggests how to make it sound better than I could on my own. The suggestions I receive usually improve the quality of the information I want to share. This feature is crucial when I'm communicating with clients, helping me make my requests or questions as accurate, specific, and clear as possible.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I'm not using the pro feature. But the notification that the sentence I just did could sound better, but I have to sign for the pro version. It's just sometimes to offend. I think the amount of such notifications for a user has to be limited at least for a day. In case client close that notification, the system should know not to show it more. But maybe something will change the next day, and someone will be willing to buy the pro version.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to make my communication sound more professional, accurate, and clear, especially in emails. It helps me choose better wording and improves the quality of information I share.

 ### 25. Boosts Writing Clarity and Confidence Instantly

**Reviewed by:** Mr Z. | Team Lead-Medical Claims, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is how it improves writing clarity and confidence in real time. It catches grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes quickly, while also suggesting better word choices and clearer sentence structures. The explanations are easy to understand, which helps improve writing skills over time, not just fix errors.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some suggestions can feel overly rigid or unnecessary, especially for creative or informal writing. It can occasionally flag correct phrasing or miss context, which means suggestions still need to be reviewed carefully. Also, many advanced features are locked behind the premium version, which can feel limiting for free users.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of writing errors, unclear phrasing, and inconsistent tone. It helps me catch grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes before they become an issue, which saves time and reduces embarrassment. It also improves clarity and readability, making my emails, essays, and other writing more professional and easy to understand. Overall, it boosts my confidence and efficiency in writing.

 ### 26. Effortless Grammar Assistance, Needs Offline Mode

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad H. | Head of Business Processes, Facilities Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like Grammarly for its ease of use. The easy way of approaching corrections is one of the best features. I find the marks under each wrong word and the correction of different categories helpful. It points out when a word is added in the wrong sentence or when there's a grammar mistake with a line underline. When I use the wrong word, it highlights spelling mistakes. These features make me feel improvements are constant, and that's great. Also, the setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it's not working. It requires Internet. So there is an offline version that's a big fit.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for correcting old wording and grammar. The easy correction process and marking feature are quite helpful, showing mistakes under different categories and enhancing my writing efforts.

 ### 27. Helpful Writing Tool with Some Little Limitations for Free Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geetanjali P. | Senior Operations Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

In Grammarly, I can easily edit my content and enhance it with proper English and grammar. It has helped me to create many blogs and articles. The suggestions provided by this app has helped me to refine my articles properly even as a basic user.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Though it provides great suggestions to enhance content, some of those suggestions are only for premium users, although those are some common corrections and can be included for basic users as well. Grammarly edits each and every sentence, and following those suggestions in each sentence is not feasible enough.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of correcting the sentences and paragraphs by removing any grammatical errors, redefining tone, and enhancing sentence formation. It provides a content rater system, which rates content out of 100 for different parameters, like spelling, grammar, tone, sentence formation, active voice, etc. It is beneficial for professionals and writers like me who are writing some blogs, articles, and website content to be published. I often require it for my writing projects and work. I love it.

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how Grammarly helps me identify the tone of my messages, so I can understand how my writing may sound to the reader. The weekly summary showing my productivity, accuracy, and unique words compared to other Grammarly users is very helpful, boosting my confidence in writing. I find these features particularly valuable as they assist in ensuring my communication with international clients is always appropriate and professional. The tone detection feature gives insights into different tones like confident, appreciative, and curious, which helps me better understand and improve my communication style. Additionally, the setup of Grammarly was very, very easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I've noticed that sometimes Grammarly suggests incorrect grammar changes, especially with prepositions, verb forms, or past participles used with past tense. A few times, the suggestions made the sentence incorrect, so I had to revert the changes. I experienced this 2-3 times last week, so this area could be improved. Another area that could be improved is the Grammarly AI detector. Sometimes, even when I write the content myself, it still detects it as AI-generated 100 percent. This makes the detection less reliable, so optimizing its accuracy would make it more useful.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes Grammarly's suggestions feel a bit repetitive or overly strict, especially for creative writing. It can also miss context in longer or more technical content. The premium features are helpful but feel expensive and occasionally the tool slows down slightly when working with very large documents. Grammarly often repeats suggestions about shortening sentences or changing passive voice, even when the meaning is already clear. For premium features, the tone and engagement suggestions could be more context-aware. Sometimes they feel generic and don't fully match industry-specific or creative writing needs.
