"Essential Writing Companion for Polished Communication"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

Grammarly has been an excellent tool and a true master of language, assisting me and millions of others in writing and paraphrasing grammatically correct sentences. It played a significant role in improving professional communication, especially before the rise of AI. I find it extremely useful for refining sentences, checking spelling, and making use of its extension, which is particularly helpful when composing emails or working within Google Docs. It has truly been a great help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

As times change, the need for a dedicated grammar checking tool has diminished, since new AI apps are constantly emerging that handle these tasks with ease. Although I don't have any particular dislikes, I think it would be valuable if the tool explained why a sentence is incorrect and helped users learn proper English or the correct way to write. While most people are now relying on AI for simplicity, this tool could have truly assisted users in improving their writing skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Grammarly Helps Me Communicate Clearly and Professionally."
What do you like best about Grammarly?

What I like best about Grammarly is how it quietly catches the small mistakes I don't notice anymore, especially when I've been writing for hours. It's saved me from sending unclear emails, awkward sentences, and tone mistakes more times than I can count. It feels like a second set of eyes.

Another feature I love is the real time, comprehensive feedback delivered through the browser extension. It's incredibly reliable and works seamlessly everywhere, including Gmail, LinkedIn, Google Docs, and even custom CMS fields. It goes way beyond basic spelling and grammar checks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

One thing I have noticed using Grammarly is that sometimes it can be too confident about it's suggestions. There are moments it pushes changes that don't fit my voice, especially with creative or content heavy writing, so I have learned to trust my judgement and not accept everything blindly. "Grammarly: An Indispensable Companion for Polishing English Communication"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

There was a time before ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools when there were no truly reliable options for correcting and refining emails, content, or almost anything written in English. Grammarly was a real boon for many people. It could polish emails, contact forms, essays, and all kinds of communication. The corrections were impressively accurate, and the refinements often felt almost magical. Not only did it fix mistakes, but it also helped users improve their language skills. I have personally seen how it made life easier for those who needed to communicate in English but were not native speakers. Although Grammarly's appeal hasn't diminished, I find that I don't use it as frequently as I did before the rise of AI tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

It doesn't always get it right! While it may be grammatically correct, there are moments when, even after making all the corrections, the end result doesn't quite communicate what I intend. I wouldn't place my full trust in it, but it remains a valuable companion. Despite these shortcomings, I still enjoy using it and plan to keep doing so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Catches Every Mistake and Elevates My Writing Everywhere"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

Honestly, it’s how it catches all those small mistakes I usually miss. Like typos, missing commas, or weird sentence structure. Saves me from sending emails with silly errors.

I also like the tone suggestions sometimes. I write too formally or too casually, and Grammarly helps balance that out. Plus, it works everywhere- Gmail, LinkedIn, and even Word docs. Integration is super convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

Sometimes it feels a bit too strict. Like, it suggests changes that make my writing sound robotic or not like how I’d normally talk. I get that it wants perfect grammar, but sometimes I want it to sound human, you know?

Also, the premium version is kinda pricey. It’s good, but not cheap. And now and then, it misses context- especially in technical stuff. Flags things that are actually correct, which gets annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wonderful Tool To Help Refine Your Writing"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I use Grammarly in both my personal and professional work.

Grammarly helped me during the editing stages of a book I wrote for my son about a year ago. I'm using it again for a second book I'm writing for his birthday this year.

I also like to leave online reviews for products I buy. I always run my content through Grammarly to ensure I have the most coherent, accurate version before submitting.

I like that you can choose the style and tone that you want for your writing. Plus, if you need to adhere to specific guidelines like APA or MLA, you can have Grammarly ensure you stay on course.

Grammarly will give you suggestions on how to improve your writing, but you don't have to take every suggestion. That's a nice feature because only I know exactly how I want my writing to come across.

I actually used Grammarly to help me edit this review, too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

Sometimes the suggestions that Grammarly offers aren't always better. I will use a specific word because it fits the tone of what I'm trying to describe in my writing, but Grammarly will suggest an alternative that doesn't always match the dynamic I'm going for.

One of the main things I dislike about Grammarly is its newer format. I almost always use the "classic doc" feature when writing because it feels more user-friendly to me.

The AI Writing Assistant is good when you just can't come up with anything, but I don't rely on it because I want my writing to sound like me, not something artificially generated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You can write"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

What I like best about Grammarly is that it helps streamline and clarify my thoughts. I used to be self-conscious about my writing. Now I love to write. Grammarly is a staple on ALL my devices. I also like that the repetition of my mistakes has been minimized. I get a rush when Grammarly gives me my green star with no errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

I dislike that it is not easy to change the purpose of my writing to update my suggestions. I use Grammarly for business, school, and personal use. The recommendations are often formal. I end up having to dismiss suggestions for my casual writing. Secondly, since I use Grammarly on multiple devices, it does not always save my settings. There must be a cap on the number of devices; occasionally, I have to redownload it. I also dislike the number of dashes that the Grammarly AI suggests. It's too formal and often unnecessary. "Transforms Writing with Clarity and Confidence Instantly"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

Grammarly is an amazing tool! It helps make my writing clearer and more polished within moments. Though I would prefer not to have grammar and spelling mistakes, this tool identifies them and offers corrections and suggestions for more appropriate wording. When finished, I can communicate more professionally. The real-time feedback is simple, helpful, and easy to apply, whether I’m writing an email, a document, or something more formal. Grammarly is a great tool for improving clarity and confidence in my writing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

As helpful as Grammarly is, there are occasions when the suggestions sound less like my own voice and far too formal or overly polished. The free version is fairly limited, so many of the stronger features require a subscription. There are also limitations with some theological language that is frequent in my writing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration and Smart Writing Assistance Everywhere"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

Grammarly integrates seamlessly with almost all the applications I already use, from Google Docs and Gmail to ChatGPT to webforms. Given this, I never have to think about what I am using. It is just there. I appreciate that it not only offers grammar and spelling corrections, but can monitor tone and make suggestions on how to ensure that your messaging is clear, concise, and delivers the tone that you desire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

The only thing I really dislike about Grammarly is that sometimes it is hard to move the Grammarly suggestion icon, which can get in the way of me clicking another link or moving my cursor where I want it. I find myself having to adjust the screen size to get around it on occasion. It also does not learn that I don't want a period at the end of everything. My work involves many bulleted lists in emails. If I don't put a period at the end of each bullet item, it marks it as incorrect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Grammarly Elevates Writing with Smart Suggestions and Helpful Insights"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

Grammarly often catches spelling and grammar errors that I don't realize are problems or mistakes. I really like how Grammarly suggests edits to improve sentence structure for clarity. The weekly digest emails show how I am using Grammarly and suggest ways to continue improving. Additionally, I like using the online Grammarly feature to double-check my work as a whole, and not just word by word or sentence by sentence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

There are times when Grammarly makes suggestions that just don't make sense, and it doesn't necessarily learn the words or phrases (jargon) that I use that are work-specific, so it makes suggestions to "fix" things that don't need to be fixed. I also wish it had integration with InDesign, since I spend a lot of my time using that software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable Tool for Clear, Confident Writing"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I like that Grammarly makes it incredibly easy to write clearly and confidently. The real-time suggestions help catch small mistakes I might otherwise miss, and the tone and clarity guidance ensure that my messages sound polished without losing my natural voice. It saves me a lot of time on editing and gives me peace of mind when sending important communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

Occasionally, Grammarly can be a bit rigid with stylistic suggestions, especially when I’m intentionally writing in a conversational or branded tone. There are times when it tries to “formalize” text that I want to keep casual. Every now and then, the interface feels slightly slow when reviewing longer documents, but nothing that stops me from using it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
