I really like the front end of Firstup; it looks very good and is completely branded with our company's colors, logo, and everything, which makes it feel like it was purely created for the purpose of our company. This gives a very positive user perspective. It helps us reach our audience easily on mobile phones, which is the most effective way since not everybody in our company has email but everyone has the app, allowing easy access. This setup plays a part in unifying our employees globally, just like uniforms, giving a feel of belonging. I also appreciate the flexibility Firstup offers, allowing us to have global, regional, and local content, which is very important for a big company like ours. I find the backend a bit challenging. As an editor or administrator, it required me a couple of sessions to get the hang of it. It could be more user-intuitive; perhaps it could be more self-explanatory or easier to understand in a short time, like 30 minutes. Instead, it took me around three different one-hour sessions. There are just too many options for selections, like email, yes/no, push, yes/no, groups, and so on. It's just somehow too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
