**What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

I love how collaborative CommerceIQ is when it comes to both organizing and analyzing data. My partners at CIQ meet with me every couple of weeks to show me new ways of working, and when I bring them suggestions for product features that may not exist they often take those ideas and start working to bring them to life. The team's depth of expertise is always astonishing, and the tools they provide set me up remarkably well. I especially enjoy the fact that they give me data that isn't so easy to get directly from Amazon - like market insights and share data, which gives me an extremely comprehensive view of the competitive landscape. I've been so impressed with CIQ that I've become a life long advocate, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such a partner in managing what many would consider an incredibly complex and ever evolving business - that being business with Amazon. Without CIQ, I don't know that I'd be having as much success as I've enjoyed over the past year - in fact, I know I wouldn't! Hardly a day goes by that I don't find myself logging into CIQ to solve some kind of problem - whether it be a quick in and out, or an hours-long deep dive. Regardless, I take great comfort knowing CIQ is there for me whenever I need and to whatever extent.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

If there's anything to complain about when it comes to working with CIQ, it's that the sheer amount of data and insight they provide can be overwhelming. If I didn't have other responsibilities, I could see myself making CIQ analysis my full time job. Fortunately, my partner on the CIQ team is always really great about breaking things down for me or helping me focus my efforts in a way that keeps me from drowining. In the end, I would say this 'problem' is exactly the kind of problem you WANT to have when working with such a team - and if I'm being honest, I wouldn't have it any other way.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The greatest benefit I've enjoyed from CommerceIQ is having a live view at all times of the broader market for my products. It's amazing how insightful it can be to just run a quick report to see whether I'm winning or losing, as well as to see how others who play in my product category are performing. Overall category insights are phenomenal as well. I don't have to guess anymore - I just log into CIQ and in moments I have a good understanding of what's going on. It really is amazing stuff - and I'm sure I've only just scratched the surface. Even after a year, I still learn something new that's available in CIQ's reporting tools that I hadn't discovered before.

**What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

While I am still learning the tool, its versatility and dashboarding capabilities are definitely that of a top tier CRM tool. It covers a vast assortment of pre-built widgets and templated reporting, while simultaneously providing an easy to build self reporting tool. 

Additionally, the support and partnership provided by the account team is quick and efficient. Again, while in the early stages of development, myself and team are excited to setup new ways of goal tracking for our brands online.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

Nothing negative to report! 

Coverage, pricing, capabilities, etc., are all incredibly fair for the support and data/platform provided.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A) How do our brands rank online at specific retailers based on key search terms we are trying to attract consumers through?
B) Are retailers promoting sponsored/agreed upon brand advertising during key timeframes?
C) How does Availability effect our online performance?
D) Are our products growing share of voice among retailers to ensure online success?

Overarchingly, this tool helps solve the question of "what do we look like online to the consumer?" This tool provides us the talking points necessary to ensure category success with out Key Accounts.

CommerceIQ is highly regarded for its unified automation, which syncs advertising and supply chain data to prevent wasted spend on out-of-stock items. Its standout feature is automated profit recovery, which uses AI to identify and resolve revenue leaks like retailer chargebacks and shortage claims.

The primary drawbacks of CommerceIQ are its steep learning curve and high enterprise pricing, which can make it difficult for smaller teams to adopt. Additionally, some users find the reporting interface to be rigid and occasionally experience slow performance when loading large, cross-retailer data sets.

We loved CommerceIQ for the flexibility and customization it offers in its reporting tools for our data sets. It made it easy to do deep dives and analyze our Amazon data across multiple inputs, while keeping everything manageable.

Our experience with their advertising wasn’t the best, and it didn’t feel as robust as their chargeback dispute process, market data, or reporting capabilities.

CommerceIQ helped us address the never-ending chargebacks Amazon issues. With their automations, we were able to overturn a large percentage of those chargebacks, which saved our team countless hours of work and made the process much more manageable.

CIQ provides a fast, intuitive overview of key metrics, making it easier to support trading activities on Amazon. The integration of an internal taxonomy has been particularly valuable, allowing us to analyze data using our own definitions rather than relying solely on Amazon’s, which are not always accurate. We also benefit from regular calls with our dedicated point of contact, who brings deep expertise in both the tool and Amazon, consistently offering actionable insights. As a result, this tool has become our primary resource each day for quickly identifying priority areas and driving focused action.

The recommendations can occasionally be inaccurate, and while the reporting features are visually impressive, they lack alternative perspectives for analyzing the data that I find important.

One of the standout features is how easily I can access key metrics that are essential for trading with Amazon. These metrics are often difficult to obtain directly from Amazon, so having them readily available here is a significant advantage.

I really appreciate the automation features of CommerceIQ, which streamline our Amazon business's deduction recovery process. Their system efficiently handles discrepancies in fees or shortages by automatically submitting tickets to Amazon on our behalf, which reduces the workload and ensures consistent operations. I value the straightforward setup process we experienced when onboarding CommerceIQ to our vendor central account, allowing for a seamless start to using their services. The dashboard and reporting capabilities are significant highlights, providing us with vital insights and monthly recaps that I find highly beneficial. CommerceIQ's automation process is a huge advantage, as it operates behind the scenes effortlessly, making it a reliable tool for managing and monitoring our e-commerce deductions recovery with minimal oversight.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

I've encountered a challenge with the frequent turnover of account managers at CommerceIQ. Initially, we started with the same account manager for the first year and a half, which provided a strong and consistent support experience. However, since then, we have had three or four different account managers, which has been a bit challenging. This inconsistency affects the continuity of our service interactions, even though the system itself is automated for recovery.

CommerceIQ efficiently handles deduction recovery, automating review and disputes for inaccuracies, reducing manual workload, and improving fund recovery for our Amazon business.

There isn't anything major to complain about, but I do find that managing the taxonomy file can be a bit tedious at times. Perhaps AI could assist with this in the future.

**What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

CommerceIQ is a great tool for monitoring Amazon 1P performance. The dashboard makes it easy to identify KPI changes so that we can quickly pivot to changing needs of the business. 

The plug-in extension for Amazon.com is very helpful, providing SKU level metrics for sales performance and fulfillment including ordered sales, on-hand inventory, pricing ladnscape, and conversion changes.  

The Customer Success team is incredibly supportive, they take time to understand the business and provide tailored insights for our market. They are always working on improving the platform  and creating relevant reports.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

The exporting process could be better. Downloading the data from the platform requires a decent amount of cleaning and formatting in order to be functional in Excel.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CommerceIQ improves our forecasting and fulfillment capabilities. The Supply Chain dashboards give insight into POs, forecasts, and weeks of cover which help to anticipate fluctuations in orders. Additionally, the business overview dashboard shows product ordering and page traffic trends which can signal future shifts in consumer demand. All of these metrics in combination have helped us to increase our overall forecast accuracy.

**What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

CommerceIQ provides the most data on our Amazon business than I've ever used. I can provide quick answers to ad-hoc questions from my leadership, I can track every key eCommerce metric, and I can gain more insights to improve our sales on Amazon.
CommerceIQ has also provided great tools and processes for disputing Amazon charges and shortage deductions. We also can monitor for defects with our product detail pages on Amazon. We can track PO Fill Rates and determine which products are impacting that KPI.
CommerceIQ has been a great partner, making improvements and adding features from my feedback.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

Currently lacking good support of merchant accounts/Seller Central -- which is significant for brands employing a hybrid model. Also the tool needs more customization options for graphs and reports.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and improving ad campaigns
Tracking KPIs and providing clarity on what is influencing the KPIs.
Tracking Share of Voice and Share of Category
Tracking Weeks of Cover and identifying ASINs with issues.

**What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

I like the environment and user-interface. It's straightforward and accessible and loads tons of information quickly. Whether you want units, revenue, or market share, it's able to adjust views and reports on the fly. I also like the open-source feel and nature of the software that the managers of the tool ask you how you want to use the tool and then they build your interface to meet your needs.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

The only slight downside to the software tool and for any market place data tool is historical data. It will take some time to have year over year data in the tool if you don't already have that saved somewhere else - i.e. you will need to use the tool for a year to have complete historical benchmark data on key areas of your business and the competitors in your marketplace.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, CommerceIQ is solving many problems that our business faces. One of them is chargebacks and fines that we frequently receive on shipments. Anytime we receive these fines, Commerce IQ opens up a dispute ticket to start the process of review and possible recovery.

I can't speak highly enough about Commerce IQ and their suite of tools. Managing our listings on Amazon.com used to be a time-consuming task, but their automation tools have streamlined the process and improved our overall listing health. **What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

Revenue Recovery - awesome.  Really helps take a huge burden of disputing shortages, price variances, and chargebacks off of your plate.  The software is also very effective at recovering dollars for these issues.  The way they integrate with your Vendor Central alwaso helps you manage your business in a way that you can't do within Vendor Central.  They are able to aggregate all of your data into one hub and show you any metric you need to define how your business is operating.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

Software is slow to load at times.  Marketshare data is tough to keep "accurate".  New subcategories are constantly entering your data and you have to keep an eye on what is happening at a SKU level over time.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revenue Recovery - It has given me so much time back in my day to focs on the things that matter in growing my business.  I no longer have to submit an endless amount of tickets to chase dollars, the tool does it for me

Market Share - Giving me great insight into how my brands are performing and what I need to do to win in my space.

Retail Media - Automating the way we use AMS and giving us the ability to pivot automatically when needed.

Ease of use for business stakeholders and broad scope of coverage for sales analytics tools. While there are extensive features, the usability and simplicity of business insights through these features makes the data much more palatable and actionable through CIQ's presentation. Data consistency has also improved significantly over the years. Teams often use CIQ on a daily basis because of the simplicity.

There is still opportunity to grow within some segments such as including bottom line views, organizational profitability, and perhaps more to be done with eFundamentals' integration into CIQ from a category performance lens.

**What do you like best about CommerceIQ?**

Commerce IQ is a fantastic tool for a variety of use-cases for our 1P Amazon business. Whether it is tracking 3P sellers, submitting tickets, disputing shortages or tracking real-time sales - Commerce IQ has an easy to use solution for us. Becuase of Commerce IQ's ease of use and fantastic customer support we were able to terminate our relationship wth other third-party services and save meaningful trade spend that we could reallocate to growing our Amazon 1P business. On top of all of it - our POC, Ryan Abernathy, is an Amazon wiz and always has great recommendations on how to leverage their tools or build reports that can help us run our busniness.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

I do not love the sales tracking tools and prefer to look at sales performace through other dashboards our team has access to through another partner.

Overall the tool can do SO MUCH that it can become overwheling and it is hard to know where everything is.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disputing shortages, submitting tickets, tracking 3P sellers, tracking marketing metrics (BSR, share, etc.), real time sales. It is helpful to have one platform to manage a variety of use-cases.

Having a one stop shop for all retailer activations is helpful, as well as their data visualization. These features help with optimization & finding efficiencies.Customer support is usually very efficient with handling feedback/tickets.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

There have been a lot of bugs, and some processes are very manual and involve the support team handling tickets, which has caused many delays in launches for several different quarters and types of activations. Some of the features encounter bugs that affect the spend levels / ability to spend of some campaigns, which has casued decreased trust. Overall, there have been more times ive noted frustrations rather than times it has made my life easier.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with the team; they were genuinely invested in our success and business growth. Our calls were consistently pleasant, and their professionalism made collaboration easy. Although we encountered some transition issues, the team's dedication helped us overcome them, and we greatly appreciate their efforts.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

We were seeking a more strategic approach to account management. While we acknowledge the transition challenges, we felt that there wasn't sufficient emphasis on account strategy during our discussions. While we appreciated and were impressed by CIQ's technology, scaling on Amazon requires more than just technology—strategy is crucial. We felt that there were insufficient strategic conversations, not because of the team's lack of effort, but perhaps due to the need for a different call structure to focus more on strategy. It seemed that budgets were prioritized over strategy.

Towards the end of our collaboration, the calls shifted focus towards valuable insights and recommendations from the team, which we found helpful

The ability to view and manipulate data in areas that extend further than the capabilities of traditional HOK platforms. It allows us to get more granular insights into performance, and gives more levels to pull when optimizing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

There seems to be bugs happening frequently, but has been getting better. Some retailers are more fleshed out than others in terms of experiencing any bugs/issues.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to make bulk edits and more specfied edits to our campaigns that we normally couldn't do without CIQ. This solves the problem of being limited in all of the ways we can look at/adjust within our campaigns.

The ability to schedule reporting exports and create custom JBPs and product tracking is a solid feature included with CIQ.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

The automated ticketing system is not as robust as one would like.  The basic tasks are taken off your plate which is fantastic, but if there is any complications (i.e. AVS responses to variation requests) the tool cannot pivot to other responses.

Rigid adherance to a source of truth that is not changable in the dashbaord makes updating title, bullets, variations, etc. quite cumbersome.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to look at SOV and other digital shelf metrics on a scatter plot was far and wide the best feature.  Having an easy to use graph that is editable in multiple dimensions solved a myriad of questions and problems.

Rather than having to have multiple different platforms for different aspects of the business, CommerceIQ does it all. 

Easy to use for all parts of the business. Sales, Ops, Finance, Marketing, Brand.. It checks every box.

They make managing at scale possible.

Automation frequently breaks and does require manual intervention from CommerceIQs support team.

I love how easy the platform is to use. It creates reports that help with decision making. Staff are always willing to help with reporting and changes that need to be made. We use the platform on a regular basis.

Great insight, access to data like never before.

**What do you dislike about CommerceIQ?**

Standardizing master data is a definite challenge.  Would love enhancements/additional customization to the reporting.

**What problems is CommerceIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time access to POS data, that I otherwise might not get.  It allows me to better realize sales trends that otherwise I may have missed.
