ChurchTrac is completely web-based so there is no software upgrades to plan for or spend money on. You subscribe based on the number of people who you have in your database. It keeps people records, giving records, it can do accounting, it integrates with MailChimp and Trellio to help send messages. In the people section, you have to add a custom date for anniversaries and it sometimes is hard to run anniversary reports based on that. The age category for students is often not helpful because they are ranges and you have to remember to move people up or down to the next or previous age category. The only con is that you have to have a Stripe account to accept payments/donations. We already had a Stripe account, so that was not an issue, but ChurchTrac doesn't allow for any other options at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This user-friendly interface has everything our church needed, and more we didn't even dream of. Who would have thought you can import a song chart and transpose the chords at the click of a button? The processes functionality helps you keep track of outreach to new vistors and ongoing needs of members. You can build your own app with customized response cards and announcements. And of course adding contacts and inputting the Sunday contributions is a breeze. Input your Mailchimp API to keep your databases in sync with a click. The online giving is flawless and easy and imports automatically into your contribution history in seconds. We've only just begun exploring all this program has to offer. I haven't experienced any flaws in the program itself. If I had a wish it would be that there was a downloadable app on Google play or the other app stores. Communication of the saving of the website link on the homescreen has been a little tricky and I'm spending a lot of time helping people save the icon to their home screen. We are unable to use the Accounting feature because it does not produce financial statements or allow journal entries. I love this system because it has a simple and very understandable interface in which it brings several modules in order to see an overview of all the departments of the church from one place. It is interesting how this system can issue clear and detailed reports in order to save time for the pastor or the personnel in charge of making decisions.

This software is very flexible and can be adapted to any type and size of a church, it also allows all the information to be hosted in the cloud in order to use this system when necessary and from where one is. The system is incredible and I do not have any complaints, but if it seemed strange to me that your technical support team does not have a chat system in order to be able to handle the doubts and problems in real time, they remain with the old mail system where one must wait for them to attend. It's a great all in one software, especially for small churches. I love that you are able to keep track of you members, accounting, contributions, and budgeting all in one place. You can also run reports as needed. The fact that the software is cloud-based is also nice. This way, no matter where I am, I can access the data as needed. It is a very useful and powerful tool. At times, tasks are a little cumbersome. If you used the PC based software and transferred to the cloud-based software, you may have some trouble with the transition. Tech support will try to assist, but I basically had to sort the issue out for myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
