**What do you like best about Alida?**

I like that I can easily build a survey on Alida by utilizing all different functions, and I can instantly pull up a visualized report for a survey, and I really appreciate the AI features for analyzing the open-ended questions.
I also like that Alida provides amazing customer service to help with us conducting professional surveys.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I dislike that it allows edits after publishing a survey, and that it doesn’t let you undo actions. I also wish some functions were more straightforward, because the learning curve with Alida takes time. For example, it would be helpful if closing surveys could be done directly from the activity view with a single button.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alida is helping me to understand our customer insights, such as customers' opinions on our loyalty programs, book covers, and marketing methods, to support us with better decision makings.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I like the capability of the unique links that tie back to community members, so we can identify long-term engagement opportunities. The feature for managing community profiles was a significant attraction for using Alida.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I think the UI could be a little bit more intuitive. The onboarding to use the platform could be more intuitive as well. I'd also like a program and best practices to help achieve our unique goals as a company. It wasn't that easy to set up initially, and using Alida's resources for survey programming felt more involved than it should be. Programming my own survey was a lot easier.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Alida as a survey platform to create research insights. I like its capability to create unique links, which help identify long-term member engagement opportunities. Alida's community profile management was also an attractive feature for us.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I truly appreciate the unmatched suite of tools that Alida offers, which provides comprehensive capabilities for executing research much faster and cheaper than traditional methods. The ease of using these tools, such as the online surveys and forum discussion guide, is incredibly beneficial for gaining quality feedback easily. The integration with APIs like Discuss IO further enhances its usability, allowing hosting of virtual focus groups seamlessly. Additionally, I have a great admiration for the team at Alida, whom I consider best in class for their expertise and exceptional support. Their knowledge and readiness to solve issues greatly contribute to a smooth experience. Overall, the simplicity of the platform reflects the thoroughness and thoughtfulness put into creating an efficient user experience, making it a standout in its field. I would rate Alida a nine out of ten for recommending it to others due to its robust features and effective results.

I find that Alida is designed for individuals who have no experience conducting research themselves, which can be very point-and-click. This simplicity sometimes becomes a limitation, restricting more advanced users who may need more flexibility or depth in the tool's capabilities.  However, the customer support team is always available to work through any road blocks that pop-up.

We can execute research faster and cheaper than traditional methods, enhancing our efficiency and reducing costs.

Alida has made it incredibly simple for our team to gather and act on customer feedback. The interface is intuitive, even for non-technical users, and we use it almost daily to stay connected to our audience. The integration with our CRM was painless, and the onboarding support was excellent. I also appreciate how customizable the surveys are — it helps us target specific customer segments effectively

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

The initial setup took longer than expected, and the UI could be a bit more modern in some areas. However, those are minor issues compared to the overall value we’re getting from the platform

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a more effective way to engage with our customer base and gather actionable insights. Alida has solved that by making it easy to launch targeted surveys and track sentiment over time. This has improved our decision-making and allowed us to build stronger relationships with our users.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I love the UI and how easy it is to change surveys on the fly. The different questions also allows us to gain a plethora of information from our testers who often have trouble explaining their feedback due to not knowing all the footwear lingo.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I don't like not being able to delete surveys once they have been opened. I also don't like not being able to take people off of tests once I've added them to a test.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alida allows our testers to articulate themselves in a way that provides us with thorough data while also still being easy for them to fill out. We have struggled in the past with the response rate of our testers and Alida has provided us different avenues to solve this issue such as QR Codes directly connected to surveys and the email reminder function.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

We use the Alida platform for our quant/qual online research community.

Alida’s strengths based on my experience:

1) Robust in-platorm survey programming tool that allows us to store all of our member and survey data in one place for easy analysis. We used to rely on an external tool to program surveys with advanced logic.

2) Flexible member data capabilities that allow us to create new profile variables and append external customer data as needed. 

3) Modern look & feel of the Member Hub and improved survey-taking experience.

4) Smooth in-platform recruitment process that can be used for external recruits as well as internal referrals. Huge time saver compared to our previous recruitment process.

5) Impressive client support from the Alida team. They are collaborative, attentive, and dedicated to meeting our community’s unique needs.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Currently, there are no moderator tools (in-platform messaging, backroom comments, etc) in the Member Hub and no way for members to easily track their points or activity completion history. This is a problem for our community, but Alida is actively working with us towards a solution.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alida provides the quant survey tools and member data management that were lacking in our previous platform. We have much better analysis capabilities now.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

The fact that we didn't just get a software suite and left to our own devices, but instead have a support team assigned to us has been invaluable. The community management aspect as been extremely helpful. And the software itself is extremely useful as well. Being able to create custom member groups, profile variables, etc. All very helpful. I also find the survey creation tool very usable.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

There isn't much focus on mobile testing features. If the mobile app allowed sharing their phone screen while in a call, we'd be able to use Alida for our full testing processe. As it stands, we use Alida to recruit for playtests, but then conduct the playtests through Microsoft Teams on their phone, allowing them to share their screen while in a call.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us recruit players for playtests, both locally and remote across North America. Keeps our members engaged, increasing their likelihood to respond to playtest recruitment surveys.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

There's so many benefits to having an Alida community but if I had to pick what I like best, it would be that I feel more connected to my customers.  We have a community of power users who are super engaged and interested in our surveys and products.  It is very easy to engage with them and get feedback that will help shape our product.  Every business needs an Alida community so they can work backwards from their customers.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

There's no real downside about having an Alida community.  There's so much you can do with your community and its set up so you can build upon the community as your business changes or evolves.  Only downside was setup time.  This is less of an Alida problem, and more of an internal challenge.  But Alida was with us every step in the process and did all they could do to help us move implementation along.  While onboarding was painful (and self-inflicted), the results were well worth it.

We are trying to understand what our customers love about our product and get their feedback to help us improve upon existing features or help us shape our product roadmap.  Direct feedback from our most active customers allows us to build the features our customers want most.

Alida offers strong capabilities for managing panels and community members. The platform makes it easy to segment audiences, deploy surveys, and analyze feedback in a centralized way.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Some aspects of panel management--like updating profile variables and navigating nuanced workflows can be challenging and unclear unless you've spent a while troubleshooting. The learning curve is pretty steep but the documentation is often super helpful--it's just a lot. For the premium price point, I'd expect more intuitive UX and expanded support resources.

Alida is an easily accessed tool and useful for daily needs for guest sentiment.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

You cannot preset rotational survey changes on the system, leading to difficulty in changing. For example, I am the only person in my team, I do not have anyone else to cover in my absence or day off in a 5/7 business so it can be challenging to change the rotations based on business planning.
I also find it non-user friendly in terms of extracting data and guest comments for an analysis purpose and involves using extra AI platforms. 
My needs of the Alida platform is purely to extract data and understand themes, emotions and common problems in comments from guests, alongside NPS etc

We’ve worked with Alida since 2016 and have been pleased with the innovation and growth of the company.  They really listen to their customers to make their products and services the best they can be.
The SPARQ platform is easy to use.
Alida provides top notch customer service.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

The company's growth has led to multiple changes in customer success managers assigned to our account, but has stabilized in the past 2 years. The AI functionality for analyzing qualitative, open-ended questions needs to be launched. This type of analysis tool has been a request of mine for many years, and noted on Alida's roadmap as well, but isn't yet operational.
Data analytics in base SPARQ platform could be improved, particularly the ability to run reports by survey completion date.

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

Have a thorough understanding of what you want to use the tool for and how you want to report results and track findings to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are gaining valuable insights from healthcare consumers and provider partners through use of Alida SPARQ and Power Surveys, which has enabled us to hear what our customers have to say and make changes and improvements where possible. The platform is also versitile in use for 'ad hoc' surveying, in addition to the Community we've established. It also allows us to gain insights relative quickly.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Scripting is very easy, as the UI is clear, and it's easy to create and follow logic - much easier than SurveyMonkey because you can preview any portion of the survey and manipulate profile variables to check different routes and logic. You can also script more types of questions (highlighters, video responses, etc.) and make hidden markers, which are super helpful for analysis on the back end. Alida makes it very easy to monitor field and quotas. Also great for managing communities of users/respondents and sending invites to internal lists of users.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

If you need a specific usability/UX testing tool, this is probably not it because the surveys are more rigid and don't allow for users to come and go seamlessly from redirects or stim to survey questions like a platform like usertesting.com does.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alids is my team's main platform for market research. Very easy to survey gen pop respondents via panel partners and our own internal user/customer email lists. We use Alida to track our brand equity, concept test, message test, and A&U studies among others.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

At Sunbelt, we use Alida for all of our VotC research using its embedded Touchpoint survey tool. We also make heavy use of the custom surveys for a variety of user research functions. And we use Alida's community management system to manage a group of over 700 research participants. I've found that it's relatively easy to use and effective in those roles. I especially appreciate the prompt and dedicated customer service we receive from our rep, which made implementation and integration straightforward. We use Alida daily for customer research.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Most of Alida's functions work as needed, but their user interface is a little idiosyncratic and takes some getting used to. The biggest issue I have at the moment is with the reports available in surveys. They have their old "classic" reports and new "modern" reports which are gradually phasing out the old ones – but both have strengths and weaknesses, and neither do everything we want it to. For instance, you can't see verbatims in classic reports, but modern reports don't support all question types. So I find I'm constantly hopping between them and synthesizing the data myself. Other than that, it's been a very useful tool.

Alida allows us to get monitor feedback from our customers and measure the health of our user experience via a UMUX-Lite survey. It also enables us to run ad-hoc customer research through its survey tool.

Despite some recent management changes and the departure of some key executives, Alida continues to deliver outstanding customer service and improve it's platform with new integrations and functionality.

A little more executive stability would be more reassuring that the company is stable and growing.

Work closely with your client rep whenever you have issues as they are very customer-service focused

We are better understanding the needs of our customers and what is working and what is not.  We are also better understanding subscriber behaviors and needs and how to maintain their loyalty going forward.

I have been using Alida for over 8 years, at times for multiple clients  It is user-friendly and flexible in how we are able to use it for both panel studies and "external" studies with other user groups and subscribers.  The basic survey tool is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Alida's client feedback process is not the most transparent, and many requests seem to languish without getting addressed. In their quest for growth, I think they often ignore improving th ecore systems (surveys, IMO) in favor of other activities and platforms.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To a large degree because ouf our ability to use it for external user stidues, Alida is a relatively cost-effective way to reach a small group of target consumers, and get regular product and industry feedback.  It allows us to provide quick input to many departments, including production, ad sales and marketing.

I've had the pleasure of using Alida for several projects, and I'm consistently impressed by its capabilities.  Alida has become an invaluable tool in our quest to deliver actionable consumer insights to our clients.

What stands out most about Alida is its intuitive interface, robust reporting features, flexible community platform and advanced analytics. The real-time reporting dashboard allows us to quickly identify trends and share key findings with our clients.

The licence fees can be a bit unaffordable for budget-tight clients

**What do you like best about Alida?**

The platform was designed for users who are both experienced in doing DIY and newbies alike. Its platform management is also easy to learn and use. Most of all, its extremely cost-effective since its package is not based on no. of responses or surveys but to the panel size, which means you need to ensure that your panel is active and you can have good productivity. Customer support of PH team is also helpful and creative in coming up with ways how to make the survey work for our requirement.

It's still web-based so sometimes it misses on saving the progress, especially when you are masking choices.

In our company, we have a lot of DIY studies, which would be very expensive if done by an agency.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

The team's communication is always, always best in class. They are accessible quickly through any number of channels, always willing to jump in and assist, and able to think creatively to find a solution even to unique business issues. They are amazing at predicting our needs and consistently keep our community engaged and active. 
The platform itself is easy to use and I find very intuitive. Making a survey and sending it out to just the right cohort is a snap. It's also easy to pull down responses and quickly turn those into insights, whether it be a survey I launched or a quick poll put together by our community management team. 
The Analytics tab has been a great way to share metrics out to wider org stakeholders as well, easing our ability to show value to those not on the platform.
I am quite literally on the platform every day and have used other big names in the industry and have really enjoyed using Alida this year.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

It would be helpful to have a bit more control over sending research insights off-platform, though I recognize the assocaited risks of this. And there are ways to mitigate those besides. Some of the survey building features can feel a bit redundant at times, such as always having to drag question type back from the main screen to the side panel instead of quickly adding a new question on the side panel itself. 
Occasionally sales can be perceived as a bit pushy though this likely goes with the business territory. 
Still, my team and I are very happy with the Alida experience and look forward to continuing this partnership in 2025.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had ongoing issues recruting and retaining niche research participants for our field of study. It's not enough to go get these people; you have to work to keep them engaged and in community. Alida continues to do that and has grown our community substantially in the last two quarters.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

It's been almost 6 years since I started using Alida, and I have seen huge improvements since then. The surveys are really easy to setup and the documentation is very helpful. Our success managers are really experienced and ensures that our projects are running smoothly and recommends best practices for us to drive out better insights with our studies.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

If there is one thing that I'd like Alida to improve on, it will be the user interface for survey takers. The spaces are too wide. There is almost no option to customize the entire look and feel of the survey; as compared to the other survey platforms that we use there is no available CSS and HTML scripting in Alida. Also, some of the question types needs to be purchased separately.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alida is a really great tool as it helps us connect with our customers easily. It enables us to ask quick questions whenever we need to decide on something quickly wherein we need our customers insight on the matter.

From quick surveys to live interviews, Aldia simplifies the process of getting in touch with customers to hear their feedback and perspectives. The customer service and account support is great - Schuyler is an amazing resource who helps me get the most out of my customer community via Alida.

Alida has a great interface that it intuitive and easy to use and when I get stuck, my customer success manager is always wiling to jump in and help me, and teach me how to do it next time. I also love the support we get for communicating with our research group - the team at Alida make it so easy!

Honestly, I've been really happy with the product and the services/support. If I had to pick something, I'd say, I wish it were less expensive, but we get the value out of it.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

The tool is quite simple in use yet effective for working on the surveys and creating visually appealing reports for analysis.
The GUI is very user friendly and easy to understand.
The training videos are also very informative, which a new user can review and learn by their own without getting any exclusive training.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

1. There are couple of setups which are not feasible in Alida to create which we usually receive in our surveys, like if we need to create an open end question along with a checkbox single option question (I.e. Don't know) in such a way to make both of these mutually exclusive. This is not looking feasible.

2. In Alida it is not looking feasible to enable one of their powerful feature of adding scripting in the questions for every user. I would suggest that a company admin should have authority to enable that powerful feature of some of their users if needed. If they enable this feature then it will ne more easy to customize the questions more effectively.

Able to meet most of our survey Programming and Reporting needs.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Love the quick turn-around DIY approach which enables cross-functional team members to easily run their own targeted surveys.  Alida is our "go-to" for many VOC research needs, from brand messaging to product development and most recently for ethnographic research using a combination of their survey platform and video discussions.  Further, Alida's customer service team is one of the best I've worked with - super responsive, knowledgeable and interested in understanding our needs to help drive our business.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about Alida.  As long as we continually monitor our panel and keep them engaged, then we get the high quality responses and feedback we need.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product design optimization, new concept sentiment, brand messaging and logo development to name a few.  Having our panel to pulse as needed is invaluable in saving time and money compared to running custom research projects.

It needs more work for moderating qualitatively. If a member comments on a post it's hard to go back and have a back and forth conversation because you can't find the original post. It's hard to create a community collaboration feeling

There are limitations in what Alida can do at the back end. Drawbacks are when you are not too sure about particular scripting for questions. I have found staff are not always aware of how to complete more complex conditions.

The platform is relatively easy to use. They are always adding new features. The Account - Customer success manageers are typically quite helpful.

Customer success manageers dont seem to stay long in the position. Every year or so, there is a new one and have to rebuild relationships. The analytics platform has lot of bugs from data not syncing correctly to constantly requiring you to save dashboard so that you dont lose work.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

The level of support we receive is amazing. Love that I can connect with someone via phone, chat, or email and will get a reply well within 24 hours. I also have complete trust in our customer success team. Our bi-weekly meetings are productive and keep me properly informed. As a brand admin of Alida for my organization, I often need to create user accounts and provide assistance early on to those who may not be as familair with survey platforms. I find Alida to be somewhat user friendly with a simple userface that helps me guide new users.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

There was a lot of turnover early on. Once I got familiar with our support team, it felt like there would be an inevitable change. While the survey platform and community hubs are decent, there are plenty of missing capabilities that can be frustrating. While I appreciate they are willing to hear customers' ideas for innovating their platforms, I wish certain features were already set up.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alida allows my organization to recieve feedback from various internal and external audiences to help guide our business objectives and strategies. In my specific role as a research analyst, Alida provides me with the ability to offer expedited, low cost, and targeted research options for our marketing strategists. I rely heavily on their online communities and survey platform to meet the needs of our senior leaders.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

It's a combination of the entire team; from my sales person to the implementation team, to the technical experts and our day-to-day service lead, to the Alida platform itself.  Everyone has been helpful, proactive, knowledgeable, eager to jump in, and friendly.  The platform is easy to use and has numerous capabilities.  It seems like whenever I ask whether it has XYZ capability, the answer is yes.  If not, the team works with us to achieve our goal.

There has been nothing that I have been disappointed with - it's all been positive.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom research that we cannot get elsewhere and housing everything in one platform for cross-referencing and ease-of-use.  We are not a national brand so it can be difficult to get local and regional information on our customers and our category.  With Alida, we are able to ask whatever questions we want to various regions in the US that we cannot find anywhere else.

Alida helps us "accomplish more with less". We're all faced with budget limitations and economic headwinds. We've been able to continue to serve the needs of our business with customer insights for product development and innovation with our Alida tools and one person managing them. Saves time and money over sourcing external firms for one-off projects, and helps us be client focused in how we build and prioritize.

We tend to be up-sold with every new cabability and innovation. This makes sense to a certain extent, and shows how they are continuing to evolve their tools which is something you want from a technology partner. But it would be nice to not have to keep going back to finance every year for more and more $

I know this is in the works but I would love to see that simplicity and ease brought over to data visualization. It would be great to visualize trending data specifically and the ability to include weighting that is already in survey reports.

Alida helps us to develop and field multiple studies in a short time frame while making data analysis easier for us through reports. This helps with the speed of our output and keeps all of that work in a centralized place.

Alida makes it super easy to have quick touchpoints with our customers. It's so simple to program and send out a survey using Alida and managing the platform is incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

While I feel that Alida is great for producing simple surveys, it is not a great platform for more complex programming. In order to do things such as equal distribution templates, you need to use Power Surveys and many Alida support technicians are not trained well on this platform.

Alida help us connect with customers in quick, informal touchpoints. We are able to ask more about what brands they want at our company, what's currently on their mind, and how we can improve our assortment.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I like that they pay attention to the smaller customer and that they understand that relationships are central to forming a good partnership. They didn't just sell us a product and then disappeared. They are with me as much today as they were at inception, possibly even more.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I have a platform that I can see has lots of capabilities but I don't think Alida always talks about the things you can get, that you don't currently have. We should always be made aware of what's out there and what we could do with those tools.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assisting with our Otter Voice community and helping us get the surveys out on time, with relevant content, constructed in ways to get actionable feedback from the customer. We are expanding our solution with them to include 5 embedded touchpoints and also working on a CSAT transactional survey with them. They are helping us grow our in our CX roles and helping us understand the customer journey.
