## Fuel Cycle Reviews
  ### 1. User-Friendly Platform with Stellar Implementation Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carrie K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I like that Fuel Cycle is extremely user-friendly and the team that helps with the implementation is very helpful. The tools available are extremely useful and helpful. It interfaces very easily with Microsoft programs and is very interchangeable with Alchemer and other research survey tools. The initial setup was a long process but very easy, and it didn't take an extreme amount of our team's time through the onboarding. It's user-friendly, making onboarding and learning how to use the platform straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

It seems that the platform is growing, changing, and adapting to new technology, but sometimes that leaves room for improvement, which I am sure will continue to roll out over time.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fuel Cycle provides a community of professionals interested in research, improving response rates with willing participants instead of email blasts that annoy people.

  ### 2. Access to Expert Users Elevates the Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Having a panel of quality, power users at my constant disposal

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Sometimes switching between the legacy CX and the Research engine (new CX) is confusing, as well as weird UI quirks like not understanding which fields are member-facing vs. not and some non-user friendly language.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed access to a consistent panel of AI power users who can repeatedly test our product for improvements and gaps. Quality participants are hard to come by these days, and I feel confident FC has created a dependendable member pool that provides high quality feedback across qual and quant methods.

  ### 3. Great Solutions with great results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anika G. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I find it very easy to use, and at the same time I find many options to work with. I really like the responses and the solutions the system provides. The customer support is also really out there, so I find that very nice. I would definitely reccomend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

I have not yet had the opportunity to dislike something.
Maybe at the beginning I felt there was too much info in the website, but then got used to it. It was very easy to implement once I got to know more.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use many of its resources but find very helpful both Brand and Market Intelligence.

  ### 4. Fuelcycle Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I like that I have the ability to create whatever I want, and then there is the fuelcycle rep to double check my work and improve what I have built. Make sure it runs perfect. Support has been great from the contacts.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Like all survey tools, there are sometimes issues with the quality of respondents. Here at Target we use our own survey pop. But when using Fuelcycles gen pop, looking at the raw data before it is cleaned is a lot. Higher quality respondents would be a big step up.
Easier way to take survey data and turn it into powerpoint charts or charts in excel would save me a ton of time. We do everything in powerpoint and excel. Having to manually copy and paste data and then create new charts is exhausting.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us easily access our guests. We can ask questions that we can't get answers from using normal data. It helps us communicate our guests to external stakeholders and make business decisions.

  ### 5. Great self-service research platform to support a wide range of research needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Easy to use, self service style enables agility in research, supports so many different research methods-- both qual and quant. Having our Fuel Cycle community has enabled me to think more in terms of "what research would be best" vs "what research is feasible"... just about anything is feasible if you have your community set up effectively.
I use it ALL THE TIME.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

The way the discussion board comments cascade down isn't the most intuitive way to read a back and forth discussion-- however these usecases have been very few and far between.

I'm hopeful that there will be some generative AI enhancements on the horizon that will help me analyze the open-ended feedback in a more efficient way.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only option above is "Experience Management" That is not my usecase. I woudl say ad hoc research-- -perceptions, interests, motivations, concept tests ect.

  ### 6. FC Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

It's helpful to be able to have access to our panel where we can talk to respondents in a timely manager. The upsides of using Fuel cycle is being able to do agile quant research. Also it's easy to be able to use Qualtrics in the platform to program/launch a survey. You can launch an actvitity as many times as you need to (great frequency).

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

The imbalances that we have of using our panel at time, not really representative for gen pop. Results may be skewed when doing certain research.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a platform that we can use to do quick research. We get adhoc requests at times and it's nice to be able to have something quick and accessible without having to scope out a project.

  ### 7. Super powerful tool for our team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I love that we're able to reach a dedicated community of respondents and gather consumer insights so quickly and easily. It's been so great working with the Fuel Cycle team as well, the team is super responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

I don't necessarily have anything I dislike about Fuel Cycle, also because I don't use it every day. My needs have all been met so far with the tool.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work on the Consumer Insights team, so my job is to bring the voice of the consumer into the work that we do with partners across the business. Fuel Cycle is key in helping us maintain and manage the community of consumers we regularly go to with business questions.

  ### 8. One successful year of market research

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cait E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

The ability to collect multiple insights across many surveys & activities, enabling you to cross check data points across each activity

Simple, easy-to-create activities and surveys via third party integrations

Responsive support from customer success team

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Some suggestions for product improvement:

- easier way to export all data at a panelist level. Right now i have to manually export surveys one at a time, and connect together in Excel/powerbi using username as an index. If we could more easily export everything at once it'd save lots of end user time.

- Ability to save settings in FC exports so that you don't need to retoggle your variables every time you refresh (e.g., excluding test accounts, saving what questions you specified for the export, etc)

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Market sizing, identifying personas in our industry, solving for unmet needs/customer pain points, optimizing new services/areas of investment by keeping consumer preferences top of mind, tracking trends in the industry

  ### 9. Great option when you want to launch an Insights Community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Friendly customer service very committed

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Training should be in-person, more lengthy and have more client hours included

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather a much deeper understanding of customers with the ability to customize a very narrow target, something not possible with other tools

  ### 10. Fuel Cycle is efficient and responsive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JORDAN B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

The efficieincy and quality of the work.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Nothing I can think of at the moment for this

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Surveys, verbatims, data analysis

  ### 11. Fuel Cycle is a valued partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

The people at FC are very helpful and I enjoy working with them.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

There is a lot of 'hand off' from the onboarding to the day-to-day team where things have gotten lost in translation.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing us with a plaform for hosting a community of our customers to conduct research.

  ### 12. Running research projects is now easier than ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I love being able to run as many research projects as we would like and go live with them very quickly, without having to rely on internal teams and work around their priorities and tasks. It is essentially an all-in-one platform: build your project, publish it, and email members to let them know that there are new activities on the community!

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

There isn't much that I dislike. The only thing that has been a bit of an inconvenience is the inability to link quick poll activities in emails that get sent to members.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running research projects with ease and very quickly and efficiently to be able to respond to high-priority, ad-hoc requests. Insights from research that we ran on Fuel Cycle help inform several things, including product and CX, and we learn a lot about consumer behavior and preferences.

  ### 13. Team of experienced researchers always looking to make improvements to the tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate I. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

- Our trusted relationship with the Fuel Cycle team
- The ability to reach our own customers whenever we want
- The integrations with other platforms (although sometimes a bit clunky, always appreciated)
- The talented, experienced researchers on the Fuel Cycle team who are always looking to improve the product by solving client problems

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

- We've had a few glitches with the tools that Fuel Cycle integrates with (not necessarily the tool itself) - so this could use some improvement for smoother integration
- But overall, we've used Fuel Cyle to manage our customer communities for a few years and we're happy with our experience

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying connected to our customer - constantly having access to a panel of trusted customers - saving us the trouble of using multiple tools to communicate with customers, get feedback, and report on that feedback

  ### 14. Account Integration, Efficient Data Collection, and Expert Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juha L. | Technology Manager, Information Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I love using Fuel Cycle - it's a great platform for building communities online. It provides many tools for community management and similarity, and is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

I don't see any downside other than that there are some limitations in hub customization, including branding and text blocks. However, this is not a big problem, and the development team is constantly improving the platform.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Useful in that we can link our other accounts to Fuel Cycle and get support from the team fuel cycle also has a professional look and gets data quickly from community members. In addition, they have high speed and recommendations for using their platform.

  ### 15. Great Platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clare B. | social media manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

This is a great platform for building an authentic community. I have been using this platform for about six months now and it has been amazing to see our community grow and continue to learn about new features to optimize our community and delight our users.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

The platform is a bit tough to navigate. There are so many features! This is both a pro and a con but the functionality is a bit hard at first. However, if you use the platform often it becomes easier and easier to use. And you learn so much about how to optimize it with continued use. Also, B2B is a tougher nut to crack in terms of creating dynamic environments. I think for B2C companies Fuel Cycle is an ideal solution.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fuel Cycle is the perfect place to create a safe, closed, private environment where our community of tech leaders can engage and converse and be rewarded for doing so! As we continue to grow our platform and explore the features we hope to create an even more dynamic and exciting experience for our members.

  ### 16. Online Community Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole F. | Marketing Insights Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I love how you can manage your online community all in one place. From programming and launching surveys to distribution and reminders. I also love how you can link your other accounts such as Qualtrics to the platform. You can also respond to community members support questions from the platform and see analytics on your community to improve respond rates.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

There is nothing that I have found that I dislike about the platform.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we solved with Fuel Cycle was we at first were doing everything via Qualtrics. The community we had at the time did not have a dedicated survey site where they could go to. Everything was via email. Fuel Cycle has made it so much easier for us and our members to get surveys, see their balance and take surveys.

  ### 17. Insights community made easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

The look and feel of the community for participants is really great - Fuel Cycle does a great job of setting it up to match the brand imagery desired. It's nice that it has a lot of integrations with services and platforms we already use too.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

There really aren't too many. It's most important that the end-user experience is top notch, and it is. It would be nice for some features to be added, like the ability to insert a leading survey question into the email invitation.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The community is helping our company get valuable fast insights from our consumers during time when other more costly research methods are impossible. We're learning about what will matter to the experience after COVID

  ### 18. Offers a standard DIY community offering

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I like the ability for the tool to offer us the amount of service that best suits our needs. The platform itself is sleek, user friendly and offers the right standard tools that we require. The client team is approachable and service-oriented, they are a good source to bounce ideas off of when we are struggling with how to tackle some engagement within the community and how to up the vibrancy.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

As a DIY tool for us, it has been disappointing to see that some of the bolt on tools offered have significant down time that we have to plan around. Additionally, I would wish for a bit more proactivity from the account team - bainstorming solutions with us to how to approach this without the solve being another additional product with a significant price tag attached to it.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to the downtime of the survey tool, we are working through how to leverage other tools to better suit our needs.

  ### 19. Good Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelina W. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Good customer service and knowledgeable employees; great for continued research with the same people; community has a professional look and feel and activity management is streamlined; getting data from the community members is fast.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

recruitment is slow; there is sometimes miscommunication between FC employees

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting data quickly - we can launch a survey and have results within 24 hours.
We can get monthly updates on the same questions where we ask the same people to track changes in the market.

  ### 20. Great tool for gathering actionable insights!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christin D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Fuel Cycle is a great platform for online communities. The FC team was very helpful in training us and getting us up to speed on using the platform. It's easy to use and has been valuable in understanding perceptions & behaviors and testing ideas. Our team easily gathers ongoing feedback via quantitative and qualitative approaches. The connection to Qualtrics is critical for my team and an an awesome feature, too. FC Live has been key to gathering qualitative feedback from participants across locations, companies, industries, etc. - especially during COVID-19 where online research is key vs. in-person.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Took soem tiem for me to Using the qualitative analytics piece for FC Live was a process, but I'm newish to the FC tools.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understand employee perceptions and behaviors when it comes to Employer benefits, benefits/HR platforms and tech, and wellbeing.

  ### 21. Satisfied Customer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda C. | M, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

What I like best about the platform are the various functionalities available to use with customers for research purposes. I also appreciate the flexibility of my community management team!

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

The only downside is that FC is not 100% compatible with all of our internal platform tools.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accessing customers to get a quick answer to research questions on current products and products in development.

  ### 22. Ideal Survey Panel Provider!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Fuel Cycle offers every tool and resource needed to manage and engage with customer panels effectively. Not only do they have all the tools necessary, but they offer extraordinary customer support and guidance through their platform and best practices. They've taken panel research to a place that was beyond my expectations!

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

The only thing I would say is a minor inconvenience is getting onboarded and learning the platform. Because they do offer so much it's just a little bit of work on the front end to get familiar and comfortable with the platform. But that only makes it all the more worth it when you're able to take advantage of everything they offer!

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Answering questions from around the business about our customers in a very easy and efficient manner.

  ### 23. Intuitive platform, but a bit inflexible in some areas

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Integrations available with the platform, and the app

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Some areas are a bit inflexible, and there isn't much freedom to customise the hub. E.g branding and text blocks are standard and I don't believe are on the development roadmap. We have already shared this feedback with the team

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to give our research community access to a wider range of methodologies

  ### 24. Very satisfied with the level of support from Fuel Cycle

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle P. | Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

FC is helpful in managing our community panel in their platform. I love how easy it is to use and it makes managing our panel very easy. Our client managers are super responsive and are always ready to help out with any activity that I would like to launch. They are also knowledgeable and always providing helpful feedback to make sure that we have a healthy panel. The upside is that everything is in one platform and I can also program our suveys using Qualtrics which is a very cool feature.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Some of the limited restrictions in designing our overall look and feel of our panel.

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

Ask all of the questions you need, but I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are learning how to increase our active rate and making sure how to keep our members engaged. Also, we are learning how to stay up to date with the latest technology in research with the many functions/capabilities that FC offers.

  ### 25. User Friendly Platform with Great Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashlee P. | Senior Consumer Experience Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

After years working on a variety of community platforms, FC is by far my favorite. It's easy to use, so even team members without community experience can learn their way around the back end quickly and easily. Everything is housed in one place, including the ability to send emails and push notifications, making member communications seamless. It's also easy for our community members to navigate. Plus the FC team couldn't be more available and helpful. We have a bi-weekly call, but are also able to get in touch asap if we have questions or concerns, and the FC team always jumps right in to help whenever needed. They also provide great tips and feedback on our community and are helping us plan content that works best for our members.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Nothing specifically that I can think of!

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using member feedback to constantly improve our member experience!

  ### 26. Great product, even better customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

The Fuel Cycle platform is easy to use, includes everything that our community needs, and has an amazing customer support team (shout out to Johnny, Eric, Janet, and Elana!). I've only been using Fuel Cycle for 3 weeks and thanks to the customer success team I've been able to setup activities, email campaigns, surveys, polls, on-board new members, and run 2 focus groups. The customer success team was incredibly helpful whenever I had questions or ran into any issues. I know that whenever I reach out that I'll get a comprehensive response within just a few hours, if not sooner!

The Fuel Cycle platform is great for fielding member polls and surveys. While we're just getting started, we know that the platform will be able to accommodate bigger research projects. I especially love that almost every type of tool that we'd need to use is located within the website. I can easily respond to member questions and publish activities/discussions for our members. I was surprised to hear that we could connect SurveyGizmo, host focus groups, and even run eye tracking studies all within the platform. The customer success team is quick to relay any feature requests over to their product dev team.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Really no big downsides for this product. I don't consider myself a big techie person, but I found the on-boarding process to be quite simple. That being said, I can see how there may be a bit of a learning curve to those that aren't technically savvy. Customer success team and the online knowledge base make it easy to fill in any gaps, so I don't see it as a big concern.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fuel Cycle has made it easy for 1 person to manage the day-to-day needs of a community with hundreds of members. We're looking to grow our community size, and I have no concerns that Fuel Cycle is built to scale.

  ### 27. Designed as a platform for growth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

FuelCycle thinks like a technology company making a platform primarily, and like a research company second. That is a good thing, since researchers can use the platform for what they are best at. The product has been continuously improving over the 3 years we've used it, and they take feedback well.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

The platform still has a lot of bugs that we discover through use and they cost time, but some of that is expected. The biggest improvement that FC could make for us would be more flexibility in dashboarding capabilities to avoid us having to create multiple monthly custom reports for our clients.
Also, because we work with clients and subcontract FC, we still face cost pressures with a platform that is in this cost range.

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

Be prepared for the extent of internal management needed even when using either FC or a consultant to manage it for you.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are definitely helping our clients see their audience at a level above a product team by product team approach to research. We are also helping them source their audience for off-platform research activities. They have also found that the platform is providing educational and engagement value for their audience above and beyond the insights they are getting.

  ### 28. Great support!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Fuel Cycle has been extremely helpful and responsive as a partner. They are quick to jump in and find the best solutions for us. They have built a strong foundation of trust with our team and we know we can count on them!

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Initially some aspects of the software were clunky and not as intuitive as we would have liked, but the Fuel Cycle team is continually making improvements and some recent updates have made the setup process much simpler.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fuel Cycle allows us to get quick feedback from our customers. Having the ability to get panel respondents through the same platform is another perk.

  ### 29. Solid platform with excellent support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

We've been using the FC community platform for nearly two years and I must say, there have been many improvements per our suggestions that have made it a much better user experience for both us as administrators and for our community members.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Lack of good onboarding training had to figure out most things on my own with a knowledge library which was confusing at times. There are a lot of quirks about the platform that led to issues and errors.

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

An excellent platform from a community facing point of view- be sure to get full training since there are a few quirks to be aware of.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quality online community management.

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

We've been working with FC for a few years now. They've been great partners in working with us to get us the quick data we need while also making improvements to the platform based on feedback. They also are always willing to help find quick solutions when issues arise.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Sometimes product improvements are slow, but expected.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FC gives us a platform where we're able to do quick turn research.

Great tool for research with online communities! Has many useful features. The team at Fuel Cycle is always very responsive!

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Requires a bit of a learning curve but not too bad.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps with all research needs where the online community is needed.

  ### 32. A cost-effective way to capture consumer feedback with a range of diverse methodological tools.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Supports full-service as well as DIY research.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Platform could be more user-friendly, but is steadily improving.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for fast turn research with hard to find targets, plus iterative learning.

  ### 33. Developing platform with some great features on the horizon.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2017

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

The FC support team is nimble and accessible. They have (mostly) great people in account support roles.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Technical glitches are a frequent occurrence. Additionally, the backend platform is a somewhat outdated (but seems to be evolving at an accelerated pace). There have been a lot of cases in which we asked about a function or a feature and have been told it doesn't exist yet (but is on the roadmap in the next few months).

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting insight into our customers wants and needs. Piloting and developing new product ideas.

  ### 35. Customer Focused Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

We established a good connection and trust with Fuel Passenger during the research and onboarding phases of setting up our online community. All our requests were considered and approved. They communicate with us frequently and have really helped us tat in to what our customers think and want.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Nothing really. But only to help with growth perhaps expansion in to other survey platforms, which Fuel is actually doing right now.

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

We interviewed key competitors and still believe we made the right decision to partner with Fuel for our online community.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are asking customers on process improvements, ways to better and more accurately serve their wants and needs as well as future develop and testing new and emerging markets. Early feedback has been more, we are already doing the right things alread. So, we are now focusing on ways to improve wait times and all areas associated within.

  ### 36. Passenger has created a wonderful way for us to collaborate and connect with our clients!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica D. | Associate Product Manager, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

Fuel Cycle by Passenger is easy to use on both the front end and the back end. It has all of the tools we need for idea sharing, gathering feedback and building and strengthening connections with our product users and our clients.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

Some of the media-sharing could use improvement as far as aesthetics go (sharing a PDF is not the most visually pleasing), but the fact that we can share a PDF is helpful when it becomes necessary.

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

You won't find a better platform or a better team of people to work with.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Fuel Cycle as a way to collaborate and connect with schools, organizations and students across the country. Together with our clients and the students they serve, we're developing solutions for student success, using this collaboration as a way to guarantee that we deliver what solutions are needed, when they are needed.

  ### 37. Always Attentive to Our Needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genevieve B. | Director, Global Market Research, Market Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2017

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

They are continually looking to improve upon their site -- both the customer side and the client side

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

There have been a few set backs in the new implementation that are causing headaches.
Being on the West Coast has its troubles too

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

The weekly support is terrific and they are responsive to our issues.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to create a multi-pub panel has been fantastic for the editorial teams. Wish we had more panelists but we are working on it continually.

  ### 38. Collaborative. Flexible. Creative. Secure.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Fuel Cycle?**

I've worked with the Fuel Cycle team for over 3 years and have been more than satisfied in working with them. They are extremely collaborative and flexible when it comes to designing your community as well as flexible in the various partners they allow you, as a client to bring in. Sometimes I feel we've challenged them so much that they have learned from that experience and shared it with others.

If you need to reach hard to reach audiences, you will find them with Fuel Cycle. We had several communities that had a really hard b2b customer to get -- and they got over 300 for us, in 4 countries.

I work with several different account team members because we have more than one community. We always come together several times a week to discuss matters that are important, how can we improve what we are doing, and creative ways that we can get at the end solution. Without this ongoing dialogue, our communities would not be successful.

I am also confident that the website and the app they run for us is secure. We have a very very rigorous security process and they passed. It took a while, but they were extremely transparent in all of their responses and guided us to a successful end community.

**What do you dislike about Fuel Cycle?**

There is really nothing that I dislike ... they're still growing. They're definitely different from their competitors when it comes to the end product -- the technology.. It's top notch! The research end of the business has improved significantly, and should continue to improve.

**Recommendations to others considering Fuel Cycle:**

Get a trial of their service -- you have nothing to lose by it. You will be very satisfied.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We saw a 4x return on our investment. If you do not have a community, you are going to missing out on saving research dollars!! We also now engage more cross functionally than ever and our research team is seen as more credible and reliable resource as a result.

As updates are rolled out it would be really great to have those communicated to users.

**What problems is Fuel Cycle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being on the consumer insights team, we have a lot of questions to answer for the entire company, and being able to tap into a community on a regular basis for more urgent requests is invaluable.
