I would like to share my thoughts about Microsoft Azure Networking are it's very protective when it comes to private networking. We can build our own infrastructure where we can protect our private networks and also ease of integration.

I liked ease of setup, configuration and other use.

I struggled with some data management to centralized it.

Also at my region expertise won't be available but thanks for support because support team provieded me some experts to setup my network.

Azure VPN Gateway is an amazing product. Very easy to setup and quite secure. You just need to download the VPN client and generate a cert to have access to your Azure Network. Very reliable and never has a downtime. We use VPN Gateway to connect to our Azure network when we are out of office. It is also helpful to let connect our consultant. To generate the certificate it takes sometime. It would be great if that could be done in Azure portal as well.At the moment we generate the certificates via makecert, which is quite old fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AzureVPN offers a virtual network to split different managed network zones, a built-in load balancing module that helps improve high availability, NAT settings in load balancing modules help predefine NAT rules without dependence on existing real virtual machines. The VPN gateway does not allow access between VNETs between regions, so if you have such an environment, you need to configure multiple VPN connections to individual VNETs, price: no interactive virtual machine console. So if you misconfigure the network settings of a VM, you will lose all access to the VM and you will have to restart the whole process of reallocating the VM. Azure VPN gateway allows creation of IPSec VPN tunnels between your Azure virtual network and whatever you need. It can be network in your on-premise location or another Azure VNet, or even AWS VPC. It uses pre-shared key for authentication and could be connected with most of popular routers, like Cisco or Juniper. It also supports ExpressRoute so if your budget allows this, you can created private and very fast connection using MPLS circuit. Different pricing tiers allows you to get needed bandwith without spending additional costs for features that if even not will use. It is very easy to set up and configure, and very stable. Connection established once is being online for years. It restores connection automatically after failures. It has a detailed documentation where you can find needed parameters of tunnel and even configurations for most popular VPN devices. Point-to-Site connection requires certificate to be installed on client computer, managing those certificates is a pain with big amount of users, and creating shared one is unsecure.
