Hey G2 experts in the employee perks community! I'm trying to figure out the best employee perks platforms to boost retention and engagement across mid-market organizations, and from what I've come across so far, Vantage Circle, Wellable, and Perkbox seem to be the most talked-about options. Here are a few I've been looking at in the employee perks category:
- Vantage Circle: Comes up a lot for mid-market teams. The rewards and recognition layer seems to drive day-to-day engagement rather than just one-time perk redemptions. Does it hold up for diverse, distributed workforces?
- Wellable: Takes a wellness-first approach with challenges, educational content, and a rewards wallet. Does the wellness angle actually translate to measurable retention improvement?
- Perkbox: Strong breadth across discounts and lifestyle perks. Does it keep engagement consistent over time or does it spike at launch and taper off?
- Coverflex: Combines flexible compensation with a perks layer. Is the dual positioning a strength or does it make driving perks adoption specifically harder?
- Compt: Stipend-based model that lets employees choose what's relevant to them. Has the personal relevance angle actually driven better engagement in practice?
- Circula: Primarily an expense platform that has moved into employee benefits. Is the perks side mature enough to meaningfully drive engagement?
For those managing perks programs at mid-market organizations, which platform has actually moved the needle on retention? Was it the perks catalog, the recognition features, or just having a dedicated platform at all?
From my experience, the biggest impact usually doesn't come from the perks catalog alone. Retention improvements tend to happen when a platform makes recognition, rewards, and perks part of employees' day-to-day experience rather than something they only visit occasionally.
Many payroll providers advertise a low base price but tack on fees for common payroll necessities like year-end filings, adding employees in multiple states, or running off-cycle payroll. I want to understand OnPay's full pricing model before committing -- are there any additional fees buyers should know about upfront?
We're in the retail industry, and with security being our top priority, how does Paycom support cybersecurity for Payroll and HR data?
