Tenet

Tenet is accounts payable software for finance teams using Xero. It checks supplier invoices before approval, helping teams identify errors, duplicates and discrepancies before bills reach their accounting system. Teams can upload PDFs and scanned images in batches or send invoice attachments to a workspace email address. Tenet reads invoice details, including line items, tax and totals, then recalculates the figures rather than relying on the amounts printed. Every plan includes arithmetic and tax checks, duplicate detection, currency and supplier checks, and coding suggestions based on Xero history. On the Match plan and above, Tenet supports 2-way matching between an invoice and its purchase order, and 3-way matching that also checks goods receipts. It compares prices and quantities, tracks purchase order balances and previously billed quantities, and reconciles partial deliveries. Teams can configure price and quantity tolerances for each supplier. Invoices that fail a check enter an exceptions queue. Each issue shows the figures that differ, explains the reason and suggests a resolution. A person decides whether to correct, reject or approve the invoice. Overrides and rejections require a reason, and an audit trail records edits, approvals and decisions. Match and higher plans also support a second approver above a configured amount. Tenet requires human approval before posting a bill to Xero. Approved bills include supplier details, invoice lines, tax and the original document attached. Tenet checks Xero for an existing bill with the same supplier and invoice number before posting. Plans are priced per company and include unlimited users. Check supports 150 invoices per month, Match supports 500 and Scale supports 2,000. Enterprise offers volume pricing per invoice with no monthly cap. A 14-day free trial is available without a payment card.
