TradePay is a job-aware payment system for trades that bill on-site: plumbers, HVAC, electricians, roofers, landscapers, painters and handymen.
Most payment tools take a card but don't know which job, customer or balance it belongs to. TradePay keeps the job, customer, amount, payment and receipt together, so the tech collects before leaving the driveway and the office has nothing to chase later.
What it does:
- Tap to Pay on iPhone (no extra hardware). Android works with a Bluetooth Stripe Terminal reader.
- Quick Charge: scope changed on-site? Enter the amount and collect. No invoice required.
- Customer pay links (card, Apple Pay/Google Pay, ACH, Cash App) with Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay financing for big tickets.
- Cards on file for repeat customers, fast field invoicing, receipts, refunds, and recorded cash.
- Smart Alerts (Control and Close plans): arrival is detected and the tech gets a one-tap prompt with the right job and amount.
- Reconcaile (Close plan): AI matching of payments to jobs and invoice drafting from job history.
TradePay works alongside Jobber, Joist and QuickBooks. Keep them for scheduling and invoicing, and use TradePay for the collection step. Payments run through Stripe Connect straight to your bank. TradePay never holds the money, and card data never touches TradePay's servers.
