Firework frees your browser of numerous tabs, optimizes its functionality, and makes it more efficient. Unlike many alternatives, Firework doesn’t have significant flaws, such as lack of ad-blocking or navigation panel. Moreover, it saves your credentials which, in turn, saves a lot of time. And probably the best thing about Firework — it’s fast. Being slow was perhaps the most significant downside of Shift, a severe turn-off for me.

Frequent updates. The majority of bugs have been fixed. There will always be new ones, but it’s nice to see that the developers are working on improving the app. There’s a browser-like navigation panel BUT you can easily hide it with just one click. I’ve been asking myself why browsers wouldn’t implement something like this for a while now. And finally, you can switch between everything with alt+tab which is way more convenient than using ctrl+tab to switch between tabs in Chrome without even seeing what they are sometimes.
