The ScienceLogic Platform is a very large, complex piece of Software, Like any platform it does have its Pros and cons. It can monitor a wide variety of devices and has done our company very well for the last 5 years. The platform can be moulded or manipulated to be very flexible with "Run Book" Automations, and you can get the platform to perform a Plethora of tasks, but you do need Python skills to be able to write snippets of code you require. For normal device monitoring like Windows, Linux, Fortigate Devices etc... this patform does do a very good job of monitoring what is required and you can also add additional "Dynamic Apps" to monitor other metrics that can be pulled from said device. All in all - ScienceLogic is a very customizable platform and I would say is one of the Top monitoring Solutions for Business use. The platform can be easily used by NOC operators for daily use puposes, but can be quite complex for Admin use. Customer Support is very good, I normally get a response from any issues i may have logged on the portal the very same day.
