HandoverBoat gives charter bases and marinas an evidence record for every handover — not just another folder of phone photos. Guests currently get five rushed minutes at the dock with no structure, and a base's own inspection notes carry no independent weight once a deposit deduction is disputed. HandoverBoat walks each handover through a 27-zone inspection — 16 critical zones covering hull, deck, engine, sails and safety gear, plus 11 optional ones — done by the guest at check-in and again at check-out, in about 45 minutes. Every photo is hashed with SHA-256 and timestamped on the server, then bound into a paired before/after PDF carrying a public verify link. The guest, the base, an insurer or a bank can open that link and confirm the photos are the originals, unchanged since handover. It runs fully offline, because marinas rarely have the signal a phone inspection depends on.
