It is used to control SOPs, work instructions and audit trails, and the automatic revision tracking means everyone is always working on the most up to date file. The non-conformance module is also very good, as is the CAPA module, when a defect appears, it is logged in the system, corrective actions are assigned and progress is tracked, without sending a single email chain.
