Okay, first of all, it’s a very tech-savvy tool. It feels robust, and the AI assistant is amazing—it really does the job well. Even if you’re not an expert in marketing automation, it still helps you get the work done. Yes, it’s technical, but the AI support makes it much easier to use and genuinely useful.
I’d also say it’s very strong from a user interface standpoint. Even though it’s a complex tool, it does not seem confusing. The UI feels intuitive, and it lets you move quickly so you can get things done fast.
Also very easy to integrate because of the native integrations with Zapier and webhooks.

Behavior-Driven Journeys That Make Email Marketing Truly Useful
What stands out most to me is how Customer.io is built around behaviour rather than lists. Instead of blasting a static mailing list, you send it events (someone registered for a webinar, completed a module, didn't open the last three emails) and trigger messages off those actions. That makes it very natural to build journeys that react to what people actually do, which is where email marketing tends to get genuinely useful rather than just noisy.
